Great video! One additional trick i would like to mention. If you merge the generator into an item and destroy the item, the generator will still function normally. I use this trick for lighting cathedral ceilings by placing the item with the merged generator on top of the roof, then destroying the item. This makes everything except the wire invisible until its repaired again. Thank you for sharing this with the community TNG!
Terrific stuff! Thanks for sharing these tips, TNG. I love that "wires through walls" trick and that could really help with some of my builds. Ta very much!
that is a nice little trick there i try not to use power generators in 76 bc of the wires so i use lantern and other wall lantern or those purple light balls so nice to know there is some other tricks to make power wift wires not being so showing in camp thansk for the vid my friend and have a good day
Spring trapping the generator works ( 3/25/24 ) and I was able to get the floor conduct to work. I can not get the wall switch one to work though. I've tried various signs in the exact order of the video and either I can move the whole piece but it disconnects or the sign glitches into the wall or you can't move the piece at all because it will only focus on the wall. Mayb be user area on my part since I'm doing this with a prebuilt base.
I placed conduits on the side of my floorpieces, conneted them all to the alien generator (placed in a blue shipping container) and than burned the conduits so I could snap more floor pieces together. This requiers to think a bit ahead on how/where you would want power in your camp. you can also place a conduit on a signpost and put in a door opening of your wall, and than change your wall to a full wall.
You could but there's other ways of getting a functioning chimney look. One of the fireplaces chucks out smoke and theres a cooking stove that does it too
It's post apocalyptic.... It's not going to look perfect. When people do builds that hide/glitch things. I don't see originality to the theme of the wasteland.
Complain to Bethesda then, with all the atom shop items they release that don't look like they belong in a post apocalyptic wasteland, and let us who actually care about our builds do whatever we want
@@Mizoturi not going against to doing whatever you want, it's just not complementary. It's fake. When I see build that glitch and hide stuff, it's just not natural. I don't like them personally. Never said anything about complaining of being able to do so, just doesn't seem natural with the environment. It's fake. A realist would respect natural builds.

5 uears and im still learning stuff. That putting conduits on stuff to make the wires go anyware will come in handy!
Solved my issue 1 minute into the video. Thank you.

Thanks for the refresher! Anxiously awaiting your return.
This weekend my mate 🍻
Thanks for this video 🙂

Thank you Tng 😊❤

Thanks for sharing!!❤ I do most of my power underground! Unless I’m on water! ❤️❤️
Can't believe that works. Thank you!!
You can also put generators underground, a floating roof piece. For some of your builds, depending on the height of it.
This is the video I needed!
Can you merge one of the smoky generators into a roof piece to look like a working chimney?
You could but there's other ways of getting a functioning chimney look. One of the fireplaces chucks out smoke and theres a cooking stove that does it too
Great Video. Thank you!
HOW DARE YOU MAKE THIS LOOK EASY! :@
😂
How are you moving the foundation up and down
Where/when did you get the 'Whitesprings Walls'. I don't remember seeing them anywhere...
They were in the atomic shop a few months back 🙏
the tiles and wall as well floors all transfer power 5x5... its in the song.
Just curious TNG...do you build better in your tighty whitys?
My first choice is a mankini but it was in the wash
😂😂
I wanna know how to put them underground.
This is how I power 99% of my camps! (Underground) Not hard either! ❤ what platform are you on?
Never done it myself but there is 2 ways I can think of, either merge power items into the terrain or go underneath the map and do it that way
@@TNG76 go under the map
Does it tilt an infinite construction glitch?
This must've been before the area generaters... Well duh not everyone has them. My bad,,,carry on. Great video 💪😁
does this not work anymore??
I dunno, man. I don't want to hide my molerat generators. I like to show them off.

I agree on immersive builds can benefit from wires and generators being on show however if it's fine poorly it can detract from a camps appearance
@@mattchris83 did you click on a video about hiding wires just to complain about hiding wires then?
😅
i like wires in a post apocalyptic wasteland , its fallout 😎
I was about to say the same thing.
Me too I think it adds to the scrappy look
Depends where imo and if its well done.
