I really appreciate this simple and easy instructional video. Seeing a mother teaching her daughter skills that she will no doubt be able to use all through adulthood is awesome and empowering. I wish my parents would've taught me these kind of things. Not only would it have saved me money, but kept me from being dependent on others.
That's exactly what I felt watching this. I wish I'd done this as a child. It's taken me until this big old age to stop feeling helpless and assuming that it's a man's task that I can't do. Good work Helen & Helen!
I'm crying watching this video. About to move out to my own home for the first time and I'm anxious how I will do it on my own. Just seeing this series and all the women doing it very simply is enough to get me going. Thank you Helens!
I enjoyed this video and learned a lot. I planned to put up some floating shelves in my kitchen, and you both are the best teachers ever. Thank you mother and daughter. Continue helping us. You are certainly not 'idle ☆☆☆☆
I’ve actually put a fair number of shelves before but it has been close to 20yrs since I last did so this video was really lovely to make me feel much mote confident. Love the messaging and style of the video.. definitely makes for a much nicer viewing experience than the majority of male led videos of which way too many are given in such a monotone and non engaging way that even a something as short as 2 minutes can become difficult to remain focused on lol. Of course there are some men who make great tutorial videos and there are some woman and nb people that can make very boring ones also.. but instead of clicking on 20guys to find a good one, I think that finding one made by women or other always has a much higher percentage chance of being one you want to watch 😁❤🙏
I've always felt too scared to use a drill but after watching that young girl do it I feel empowered. I will definitely be giving it a go now. Thank you! 😘
Man here, just thought I would say this is such a good no-nonsense demo, great. Too many demos overcomplicate stuff, enough to put you off, this one is just right.
Thank you so much for this, you made it look so easy lol. I love the fact that you named your daughter Helen like your self. You must be a very strong and confident woman and that is beautiful. Bless
Thank you for this inspiring video. I have just moved into my new home as a single woman and eager to put up shelves. I have never done anything like this before and looking to give it a go. I am also called Helen😊
Also make sure to drill on the drill setting it wasn’t on this video don’t use the torque for drilling only use it for screwing also drill on setting 2 and if it is a brick wall the hammer setting
Make sure the still is set on drill not unscrew. Thank you, sensible information I now feel more confident about doing the job.

It’s great to see a young girl learning to build things herself, I wish I learned that when I was that age! Nice job!
I really love the chanting. It makes me feel powerful!

Hi, thanks so much for this video. May I know whats the name of that drill?
Loved the video but could you explain what the drill was set at? I don't understand what the numbers mean on the drill. THANKS
Love this and love the noise of women cheering in the background...celebrate female power...
Also make sure to drill on the drill setting it wasn’t on this video don’t use the torque for drilling only use it for screwing also drill on setting 2 and if it is a brick wall the hammer setting
Nice
No Safety Glasses?
Always wear eye protection!
Why did not you use the cordless drill to screw it in !!
These are really nice and helpful videos, but what’s with that song and the screaming in the background? It’s really distracting and annoying.
Thank you!
