I found that so relatable to what I do whenever I have a long hoop skirt/petticoat and the dress over it (no matter how long my dress is; usually a little longer than the petticoat) lol!

Beautiful example of why the undergarments are so important to the shape of the final look. I love how they all are co-ordinated in color to the final dress and ARE the whole look from the skin out! Truly gorgeous!

This costume is truly a masterpiece. While I love all of it, I would have to say that my favorite parts are the silk petticoat and the way you did the closure of the skirt. While the skirt is gorgeous, the way you hid the closure in the folds of the skirt is so clever and amazing. I can’t wait for the next project!

I also thought it was really cool seeing you put most of it on by yourself. A lot of historical GRWMs have an assistant to help, so you never think about being able to lower to the floor so you can adjust all your skirts and such. Can't wait to see your Cinderella gown video next!
I love this, why can’t we have ball gowns like this now? I would love to see young ladies and older ladies in gowns like this, these make more of a statement than anything else would.

It’s really just someone’s choice. It’s beautiful, yeah, but tbh not much people have the money OR the time and energy to just get a gown like this. Plus, social standards are horrible.

So pretty! As much fun as it looks to wear such attire, I cannot imagine having to do a variation of this on a daily basis. I'm glad I can lounge around in yoga pants, though I wish I had an occasion to wear such a spectacular gown! You really created something magical!

I guess this is why ladies maids were so useful. Beautiful gown and I’d love to try all this on but I’m really glad we’re not required to wear all this in this day and age.

I loved the beautiful contrast of Christine’s blushing rose pink gown and sweet complexion and Erik’s (the Phantom) crimson red suit and skull mask. Just magical.

Beautiful walk down memory's lane. I used to keep a princess room full of shoes 👞 dresses and tiaras for my great niece. She was adorable getting all dressed up. Today, she's a beautiful mom now. Enjoyed Victorian was my favorite thing's to collect. ❤❤

The weight of the cloth-of-silver and the weight of the earrings, kokoshnik, necklace and rings proved crushingly heavy. The last tsarina, Alexandra Feodorovna (aka Princess Alix of Hesse & by Rhine) was found in tears after her wedding, as she couldn't move due to the weight of her ceremonial dress.

I am inspired to make an outfit like this (even if it is way out of my skill level). Also corsets and bodices are so stunning to me and I would simply wear them everyday

You could make this. You could learn to sew here on TH-cam. You would need to make many garments to have this level of skill, but you most certainly could.
