I would like to present you with my latest work, being Dead Space 2 Suit.
Hope you like it. Full work time: Around 30 H.
Software used:
Blender - Highpoly, Low poly, UV mapping, Rigging
Substance Painter - Texturing
Unreal Engine 4 - Rendering

Ur so underrate. What u do is so amazing.
When you watch first 5min (5h) and youre like "this is perfect" and then you realize he will do much more in next 25min (25h)
I wish it was 1:1 scale, i wish i could 3d print the parts and sew the suit, then attach the parts, painted, edited, making them look used and damaged, and make a 1:1 wearable armor. This is so detailed that it would have been pure pleasure to assemble it. Daaaamn :(
I remember my early days in modeling, using these for guide, he does a nice job.

Excellent work as usual man. And here’s me struggling with a simple helmet.
Do you only use Sud-d on the initial model, with bevel I assume, and then just bake it all on to the low poly retopo?
I’m trying to avoid sub-d hard surface modelling as when I add it after the bevel (mainly use bevel with weight setting and just ‘blue’ the edges) I then get some very strange shapes in the corners of my topology.
what pc specs do you use ?
and what laptop specs can you recommend ?

So... you use triangles to avoid doing more loops. Every time I retopologize I try to do it without triangles. I think I didn't learn the right way

You actually should do another tutorial video.The one that you made with spinosaurus is very old right now and you actually didn't explain a lot on that.How about making the T-Rex from Jurrasic Park and making it a tutorial? Even tho if u wont make a tutorial for that can you model it and make a timelapse video? Hi there! There is one thing, i cant find a tutorial about.. When i want to create a charakter with different cloth (should change cloth during the game) - how should it be organized?? Must i import dozens of copies of the char with the differend looks? Or is it possible to implement it as one object where i can switch on/off the different cloth (visibility)? Or must Import basic char and the different cloth as different objects? But i dont know how to connect it in the game. I already imported one char from blender to unity but only with one look.. I didnt even tried to implement a weapon yet..
Have you thought about making some necromorphs?

Did you have a concept sketch or something while modeling?
Are you using Snap to (face?) with the Solidify mod to draw out those raised edges? Also, how you liking 2.8? I haven't made the switch yet because I haven't figured out how to pan the way I did in 2.7.
McHaven07 I don’t find that 2.8 is worth the switch yet.
i still stick with 2.7, the new blender is damn weird, i cant get used to it
Quick question after adding details in zbrush, you retopo the whole model... Do you then use data from high poly mesh onto the new retopo? If not then what is the use of retopo apart from just the fabric?
I mean I bake all the detail onto low poly xd

Btw. In Blendet 2.8 you should just be able to CTRL+Left click to extrude.
