Hi Andrea ! Another beautiful and inspiring video. I finally took down my Pine Wreath off the front door… excitedly placed my pretty Tulip Wreath up…..an hour later the snow came! Over 8 inches in a 6 hour period….and that wasn’t the big snow that was coming ! LOLL! Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine… we expect it don’t we ? LOL!!! Just would not be March without pop-up snow storms!
I have scored 2 big baskets in the past 2 months at our local On-Line Auction house. I always think of yours above your Refrigerator when I see them! Of course mine are on the floor in 2 different rooms, I have pure breed Maine Coon Cats….just the right size for my giant kitties ! Place bed pillows with pretty pillowcases, yup my girls love them and it is pretty decor too! WIN/WIN

I can identify with you in so many ways……..I grew up in Michigan and we had a cottage on Lake Michigan. Your home is perfection and your little family is a delight to watch. However, today when you talked about your ancestors being from NC and serving in the battle of Kings Mountain I felt I had to let you know my family is also from North and South Carolina and my DAR ancestor also fought in the battle of Kings Mountain! My father went to Michigan after the war for employment like so many others. I’m living back in South Carolina now where it all started. Small world. Keep your videos coming. I look forward to everyone.

Your kitchen is so beautiful, Andrea! For Spring cleaning I do a complete declutter before cleaning it makes things so much easier. Clean kitchens are so satisfying! Alstroemeria is my very favorite Spring flower. It can last up to two and half weeks and is so beautiful. I can get a "bunch" at Trader Joe's for $4.99!
Yup snowing here in Ontario Canada....have also taken down my winter decoration and have started putting up my spring deco....lol

I think it is fascinating hearing about other people's families! My husband, grandson, grandson's best friend, and I just returned from the Smoky Mountains. It was our first trip since 2018. My husband is from a little town outside of Asheville, and his dad and step-mom lived at the foot of the Pisgah National Forest for many years. We always loved going to visit. ❤

Your kitchen is so cute. My counters are loaded with stuff I use all the time. I try to scale down but I use everything. So. Actually no room for decor. I have my microwave on my counter and do have some decor on there. It always looks so crowded on my counters. Yours look so uncluttered. And 4 boys you are an amazing housekeeper.
I live in Indiana. What works for me is, I leave my winter decor up until end of March. Then bring out the Spring decor on April 1st. Love cooking with cast iron! Your stove is beautiful!

Check out Farmhouse 5540 for new windsor chairs at the end of her table. They are not bowback, but maybe called birdscage Windsors? Anyway, the look is a good one. They show more than the bowbacks do, because the backs spread out. I think you might really like them.

We love Oak Island, too, but we tend to go in July. Beautiful kitchen and the countdown is so sweet.
*Textiles and Florals* . My color pops for Spring 2022 are navy and faded denim and oh yes, stripes are involved. For $20 at Marshall's, I scored a coordinated pack of 3 towels, 2 pot holders and apron. That score brought cohesiveness between my kitchen and other main living spaces. A vessel with white tulips was added and swap of the curtain valance over the window and striped area rug... done! High Impact on a small budget.

North Carolinian here! When my children were young, we went to either Oak Island or Topsail Island every year. Have a wonderful trip! Thank you for your inspiring videos. I'm mid-reno in my 1980's townhome and your style and tips have really helped me define what I'm hoping to achieve.

Love it all as always! Just a little tip about your ferments, don’t keep the kefir and the sourdough starter next to each other. They can “compete” with each other. It’s best to keep them a few feet apart. I’m so happy to see your starter! Can’t wait to see more recipes! We’re in the California mountains and we’re supposed to get snow this Sunday!

It is cold and snowy where I live also. But spring will come---it always does. So nice to see "real" flowers in your kitchen, as opposed to the faux ones. Your sister has the right idea. Faux are for show, whereas real reminds us of the glories of nature and our need to nurture it.

By the way, we had ice and snow here in Alabama on Friday and Saturday! I used the super cold Saturday to clean and set out few spring/Easter decorations. Not much but so pretty.

We got snow here too in Minnesota and now we’ve got a huge warmup this week, 50’s! I just love your whole aesthetic, Andrea! I took my hubby to tjmaxx and home goods on Sunday and I was thinking the entire time ‘What would Andrea pick out?’ I found some really cute baskets and I also got some new kitchen towels for spring! I saw a similar 3 tier basket that looked like yours in your entryway at tjmaxx. I also bought faux white flowers! 💕

I have always used those same chartreuse viburnum stems from Hobby Lobby, too. You’re right, they are some of the most realistic I’ve ever found. Sometimes they have the same stem in white, which mixes in well too. Everything looks so fresh and tidy and cozy beautiful as usual! ☺️💜

I especially noticed in the dining room, the bottom half and around the door is darker than the walls. Can you please tell me the new colors in your dining room?
