Funny Joe you mention the second check seems better...set up in a new real good looking area and first check nothin. Did my second check today and we picked up some fur! A nice dark marten! Enjoy your videos Cheers from Northern Alberta
You were on Blanchet road and met à truck Regi and I heard him talking to you! He is a friend of mine! You’re not that far from St-Pamphile! That’s Funny ! Like the way you show your stuff! Not only the good one… empty trap, and waiting , is a part of trapping too!!! Good season!
Awesome thank you. I wish I got on a better first name basis with the Truckers, they have been great. We keep it professional on the radio. I love the Maine/French Canadian accent.
Oh so true, I think they respect it much more. It's really being responsible. I should have done it years ago. I just didn't know any better so I am trying to help others now.
I have a Stanley thermos a bit smaller than yours. It comes hunting, ice fishing and always nice and hot. I love it, much better than the old thermos brand with the glass liner that would break and coffee everywhere

Need to make friends with the plow guy for logging crew get him to plow so can get your trailer out to the plowed road lol , but if rains and drops the snow , maybe get lucky and can chain up and get it out still,
Joe, I've been watching your channel for over two years and have enjoyed it very much, but recently, I've been disappointed with the way you are handling your fur. You're taking them out the trap way too early and damaging the pelt. I've for over 20 years, and I damaged lots over the years.take the time and exchange your traps and let the animal thaw. You'll get a better price if you sell at a fursail. Sorry for the negative comments, but it just hurts to see you do it this way. Keep on tubing.
If they are really frozen in I leave them but if not I take them out and always double check to make sure no fur stuck to the trap. They have been coming out clean with the dyed traps.
@@brianlavallie5475 yeah no worries. It's awesome with frozen critters they don't stick. But you are right with an undyed trap it's not ideal to peel the animal away from the metal if they are stuck. I made that mistake one of the first few years I trapped.
Slow start to the day, but what a way to finish. Congratulations on one heck of a season and thanks for bringing us along
