Samsung Keyboard > Gboard Holding on the space bar to move the cursor and being able to go up and down and not just side to side. The more Emojis and stickers and being able to download more emojis and stickers. AR Emoji support. Adding light-up keys using the Goodlock keyboard Cafe module which has lots of people asking "how did I do that and that's so cool" when they see me typing on my keyboard. They just added the scan text tool. I could keep going. Gboard does have better text predictions but Samsung text predictions are not that bad and have gotten better over time and I think all the other stuff it has makes up for not having better text predictions.
Can I put a Samsung keyboard on my Motorola Moto Stylus 5g with an additional microphone? Gboard is causing me to have to edit too much. Also, I tuned off the next word suggestion and suggestion strip, yet I continue having problems. For example I recently wanted to type the word listen but the moment I put the L, I got the word love. That's why I must constantly edit. I need the microphone because my vision is poor because of a health condition that I have. If it doesn't have a mic would it be difficult to add a mic. Note: I'm severely techno challenged. I'm in my seventies. 🙄
Ok so this was a game changer for me I put Gboard on my galaxy phone 😢 because I give me the option to look for stickers at any moment and send them as stickers, also I am a big Bitmoji fan, and even tho it does show in in the keyboard it sends it as pictures and not stickers, any way around that? Also I am a fan of gliding on the keyboard type and I don't think Samsung had that feature. Any information I am missing? Haha
Samsung Keyboard is crazy but I just can't get used to it, also the Gboard predictions are much better but to be fair the Samsung Keyboard couldn't collect as much data as the Gboard since I always used it for some minutes after setting up a Samsung device😅

I used Samsung j7 prime for about 7 years. Samsung keyboard really makes typing easier and faster, i love that Samsung put numbers on the same page as the letters and you can easily type the symbols by holding the letter button for some time. Unlike iPhone the numbers and symbols are on different page. Another thing is on Samsung’s keyboard there’s also an option to see multiple text that you’ve copied before. I’m using iPhone now but i miss some features on Samsung that is better including the keyboard.
Did you ever get used to the iPhone keyboard? I'm considering switching from Samsung to iPhone. My work issued phone is an iPhone and it drives me nuts that I can't insert symbols in iPhone like with galaxy; instead I have to flip between keyboard screens.
@@xstrikefiredragon Hey there, it’s been 10 months so I can say I’m getting used to it already. I understand it really frustrates you to switch the keyboard page just to type numbers or characters, but you’ll eventually get used to it over time. In fact, I feel like my typing with iPhone is faster now compare to using Samsung. But I still miss the Samsung features, it’s definitely better, specifically because it has feature to save multiple copied texts.
Gboard has grammar correction without needing a data connection but I find Grammarly even though it's cloud based to sometimes be a little quicker and more accurate (rarely) at catching mistakes. The data use would be inconsequential as it's just text. You'd need to write a small novel on your phone to make even a small difference in your overall data usage. It's also nice that there is a little green indicator by the three dots if you have an issue that you can use as a quick visual queue to review your message before sending as opposed to having to scan the actual message first where the mistake could have scrolled up out of view.
What I love about the gboard is that it really is essential and offers a lot of customization features for your keyboard offering so many varieties of themes and colours and it also works really efficiently ajd well. Its a very fast and fun keyboard. But I also do enjoy using the Samsung Keybaord too.

I had been using Gboard before I got a new phone. I gave the Samsung one a try, but I just prefer the feeling of Gboard. I don't need all the shite that Samsung throws at you.
Samsung's auto correction feature can be turned off for specific languages, which is crucial for me since no AI or keyboard can accurately predict vocabulary in Arabic dialects. However, auto-correction is still essential for me in English and Russian. That's why other keyboards are useless for me - on those, auto-correction is either on or off for all languages, with no option to customize per language.
I have galaxy a14 5g have the option to choose either for default, noticed gboard emojis look cartoony but the gboard uses less space than samsung keyboard Im trying Gboard to see if i like it.Thanx for info video.
I do like my Samsung phone but unfortunately the Samsung keyboard does not work for me. I use the swiping method in 5 different languages and the predictions do not correspond to the words I'm "typing", however with Gboard it's mostly spot on. When making the video please promote the swiping method and most of all put the phone in dark mode and resize the letters and virtual keyboard. The way you do it I can't see the screen at all. I've seen other TH-camrs doing it so I know it works. Thank You for Your effort!
I've been using iPhones for years even though I love Android, mainly because of the variety available and the superior cameras from Chinese brands, among other things. But that's not the point. What I don't understand is why I've never been able to get the voice command to work on any of my Android phones, except on my Pixels. I have allowed the GBoard app to access the microphone, but it doesn't help; it almost never works. Can someone explain how to fix this issue? I've stuck with iPhones for years because at least with iPhone, the voice command on the keyboard always works, even if it's not the best.
been using Gboard forever now but with new Samsung A.I features I'm learning how to use Samsung keyboard and first thing i noticed is the placement of symbols is a nightmare. I'm not sure if it's a confirmation biases on my side but I'm really struggling with these. second thing is swipe to type, Google predicting my input and more forgiving way more than Samsung Keyboard now, perhaps they already have enough data from me inputting over the years, but hopefully this will improved over this times. A few days in, I'm still getting used to this. update: i figured the settings because i enable "symbols and numbers" as 3x4; but i need the numpad as 3x4 and i prefer the symbols to stay as qwerty. apparently this is not an option. if u enable numpad 3x4, your symbols will be 3x4 as well. ugh.

Dope video! Just received the s23 yesterday and as a pixel user for years, it has been quite frustrating. Is there a way to add personalized or custom words to the samsung keyboard? Also is there a way to make the enter button bring the text to the next line without pressing symbol (shift) + enter?
