Could tell Jake and Colby were excited to be on doing the recovery and be on the channel. There was just a bit of "we're doing it this way because we think this is how we're supposed to do it, and aren't quite comfortable yet". But any small awkwardness they had was made up for with enthusiasm and that goes a long way. I think they fit right in just fine, would watch more.
Jake has some great camera presence. Keep it up Jake! Give that man some more off-road recoveries when you can Matt. Short & sweet. Kudos Colby as well! Trailering & lunch at Lin’s, love it.

Great to see Jake and Colby. I’ve met Jake I think on a visit to the yard. He’s got a very good screen presence, Colby too. You really have quite the A Team there. Good to see the onroad tow operators getting recognized! I’m a retired firefighter and tow operators have my utmost respect!!! They see the same and even worse stuff as uniformed first responders; and are often overlooked. These folks are just as hardcore gnarly as anyone else and truly deserve recognition and respect as emergency services first responders. I’ve worked with many and we share many of the same stories and ghosts. 💪🙏♥️

crank/no start 4.0 jeep.. tap crank sensor.. hard to reach(top of bell housing )but sometimes works. magnet get stuff on it and doesn't make strong signal . was a tech back in the day for Jeep dealership .. great vid as always...

Love the scenic views you and Rory show. I was out there back in spring 1969 visiting me grandparents who retired in Colorado. My cousin took us out touring from Ft Collins as far as 4 Corners.
Good recovery fella’s. The nice thing about off road recovery vs highway is there is less chance of getting run over at 100mph by some blacktop banshee!
First rule when breaking down out in the middle of nowhere, stay with the vehicle. I understand he was following a road and not much chance of getting lost, but anything could happen to him on his own and they could easily drive past him, then it becomes a search and rescue.
Jake is a natural in front of the camera. He's also great with the customer. Matt, you should definitely use him more in your video's. Colby is awesome also.

I know the elements can be challenging. Usually not for you all but for those that get in trouble and need your assistance. I have noted many times I just love the colors of Southern Utah. Just like I love the colors of our NC Mountains during the fall.
Hey Matt, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What i am seeing is a vast plain with a few bushes, trees, mud and boredom. Mountains in the distance might be nice but that's about it. To me it looks like there's nothing at all. You probably need to travel more and experience all the beautiful places the world has to offer before you can claim "that's the most beautiful". Of course, what i think is beautiful probably won't jive with you so we are even.
Maybe Matt could start including Jake and Colby's recoveries on the channel even though this channel is mostly off-road recoveries. It would be nice to see some of the on road recoveries as well.
Curious to know what happened to that beautiful red XJ... I refuse to believe it stranded them out there 😆 My bet is on the ole' CPS might have to throw a spare in the glovebox when heading far out!👍

Hey Matt In my part of the country you can get by with 2 wheel drive If you let the ground dry out if not You will have to go in 4 wheel drive.
