BLACKSTONE CAMP GRIDDLE SMASH BURGERS | EASY BLACKSTONE LIGHTING TECHNIQUE

In this video we are using our 20” Blackstone camp griddle to make smash burgers and grilled zucchini while we are out camping. This was a requested video by our subscribers.
We start off by showing you that lighting technique incase you are having some issues with the igniter, which makes for some easy lighting if its having a moment.
Smash burgers are a great camping meal and not extremely hard to make. We start with sweating down some onions to use as our base, if you like a bit more bite on your onions just put them straight on. The key to smash burgers is getting some good ground beef and getting them into 1/4 lb balls, we choose to use 85/15 ground beef.
We also improvised with our smashing technique as not everyone has a burger press in their RV. We also topped those burgers off with thick cut bacon and tillamook cheese to finish it off.
The 20” Blackstone griddle handled this meal very well with no burning and still allowing us to build that crust that is famous with thin smash burgers. This is always a solid option and should be on your Blackstone camp griddle rotation.

Great lighter tip through the back side! Fumes can definitely fill up under that griddle and flames poof out once finally ignited. Speaking from experience! lol
