Hey Brian, Nando here. Excellent Video! Can you share your Remote settings on the DM4800 "Machine Control List" & "External Control List"? I'm using the same Mac OS as you, downloaded and installed the driver as you instructed, and checked the Extensions and it's there, but, I can't get my DM3200 to Lock/connect. I'm using Cubase 13 and temporarily saw the IFFWDmkll ports on the Cubase studio settings, but lost them after powering down and restarting. Have any clue as to what's happening?

Make sure the DM is hooked directly to your Mac and not on a dock, if it’s the first time after installing the driver I make sure nothing is plugged into my Mac other than the DM check that it’s locked then plug in my dock. I suggest restarting the first time but after that I leave my Mac on 24/7 and just power down and up my DM as needed.

Will this work on Windows Reason 10? I also have the fire wire card that I was lucky to find.

Hi there... I have an old iMac running on OSX 10.8.5 with an i7 processor, 2.8GHz, 12BG memory, 4 processor cores (it says). Does anyone know if this is supposed to work with my DM-4800? It did work on OSX 10.7 but now it doesn't :-( The Tascam says 'driver offline'.

I am using a DM4800 amd my computer 2013 OS Catalina, does not see it, not sure why, i thought it was a plug and play situation

You still need the driver even if you do have the FireWire port

Tascam is disgusting in there support, never again.
I have a model 24 its not even 5 years and no update.
I mean this thing goes to 96k and thdy just stop pushing driver how stupid
