      Thank you! I'm delighted you liked the video. It's become second nature to use the Micro now and saves me a bunch of time. Plus I just like tapping the keys. :)

      @work_louder I noticed you have a new Figma keycap set! I'm going to have to do a follow up video using them to show how I set up my Premiere Pro macros.

    I own the creator board and its amazing. The amount of time I’ve saved with all these commands is amazing, even my coworkers are impressed at the speed of my workflow now because I tweaked the board to make sense for me and I doubt ill go back to anything other than a ortho. The benefits of owning this board is amazing, the modularity of the creator is amazing too.

      How difficult was it to go to an ortholinear layout? And is it annoying if you have a keyboard that is ortholinear and one that is not?

    • @zabglz
      @zabglz 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Qwertworksit took me about 1 week to not feel awkward and about a 3 weeks to be as proficient as a regular keyboard.
      Is not annoying to have to keyboards but realized pretty quick I dont liked regular layout keyboard after 2 month of use approximately. I started enjoying a lot more the compact ortho design and after a year I started freaking out knowing that I cant just go buy another ortho keyboard anywhere and that I really loved this layout. When I go back to the regular I feel theres a lot of in necessary travel between keys but also that my hands get tired faster.

    My suggestion for the scroll: make it move up and down the size of your text. Thanks for the video!

      Thank you! I actually think it's time for a follow up especially as Work Louder have released some key caps for productivity. I'll check them out and then explore doing a video.

    I was about to buy it until i found out about layer switching. I think nowadays micro pads are expected to have automatic switching through a companion app. I don't see what makes this a good or better choice than what's in the market when we have to manually switch profile each time we change app. Most creatives work with more than one app to. get their work done and for this price i expect this pad to be used with as many apps as possible, as I do with my logitech keyboard and mouse.

    • @Blooddann

      I suggest the Logitech g600, I can switch automatic layer buy apps and have 3 layers to each app or game...

    I have ducky pad beats this hands down, 15 keys with 32 profiles so you have 480 macros. It doesn't look as nice as creator macro. Super handy if you work with a lot of different programs within your day

    Nice vid. Do you touch the capacitive button accidentally while your hand is resting on the pad?

    • @HowToDoItTech
      @HowToDoItTech  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sometimes. But not as often as you might think. It would depend on how much you're using the device potentially

      @@HowToDoItTech I'm thinking of this one or megalodon triple knob (for Figma specifically). Last but not least, currently I'm using StreamDeck for that, maybe it's gonna turn out to be best to stay with it after all.

      I really want to try a SteamDeck myself for a comparison. I've seen other similar options too. Hopefully I can check them out in future videos.

    are you able to assign a word to each key? say i wanted to type out "hello!" by pressing one button

    • @HowToDoItTech
      @HowToDoItTech  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes you can! You just enter the string as a macro and every time you press the button it'll input it into whatever program or dialogue box you need.

    Does it work with Mac? Can you add a "Command" and "Fn" button and even the associated "F1" "F2" and so on? And then the major one would be the "Finger-Print ID"

    • @HowToDoItTech
      @HowToDoItTech  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, the Micro is compatible with Mac, iOS, Win, Linux, Android. However, I don't have a Mac to try out the suggestions you have.

    New user here. How do i bind hotkeys to creator micro. Single key functions are easy but how do i assign control + shift for instance?

    • @HowToDoItTech
      @HowToDoItTech  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The process is that you'll need to create a string command to tell the Micro that one button press will do more than one keyboard input. For example, enter {KC_LSFT,KC_LGUI,KC_4} in the Macro 0 box area, and press Save. The M0 key will become Shift+Command+4 (screenshot on macOS).

    Question does it charge with the cable if connected to a charger box and does it go dead

    • @HowToDoItTech
      @HowToDoItTech  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, there's no battery. It is powered and only works by the USB-C cable.
