It's priceless for us fellow laser users, especially someone like me who is still new and experimenting. I have alot less waste of time and material after watching your videos. Thanks from BC Canada.

Thank you! Especially for the enable dot-width adjust tip 🙂
You're welcome!
A very helpful and informative tuition session. I'm only 8 weeks into Lightburn and lasers and this was so useful. Thank you!

I have not ordered my fiber laser from Pascal yet. I will in the next week or so. This video showed so much more "useful" and understandable information than any of the others I have been watching. Thanks again for the video and personal advise. Frank
Oh Good deal, you will love it!
Got mine a few months back from Pascal. Very satisfied customer!
Great new intro!
Thank you my friend!
Great video as usual. Now I just need a Fiber. 😊
it’s always something right!
@@computercreationz yes. Haha.
Thanks a million
thanks for the comment and watching
Vidéo très intéressante pour moi , bravo cordialement Daniel
thank you
Love your videos. Very informative. You spoke of sanding off your slate. What grit do you recommend for doing this. I have a few I would like to clean up. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I use 120 grit it makes quick work of it. Be sure you have a way to collect the dust or wear a good quality mask.
@@computercreationz Thank you.
Thanks
thank you very much for the super thanks I appreciate it
Great video! How well does the spray lacquer hold up over time from the coaster actually being used and getting wet often?
It's good
Hello and thank you for making this video, it was very helpful to me! Did you ever find out how to link your variable text option to match your image layer without needing to generate a second layer to mirror? Thanks again.
no I have not. it may not be possible
Great video as usual. What is the model number of the system you are using?
Thanks
No model number really you order it by 60 watt jpt Mopa laser company in the description. Below use code 062180 for a $50 discount
Great Video! One question is that my images from my iPhone have a white square background when I load them into Lightburn and are not transparent. I used the same method you did in the video. Even when I use a tool to remove the background, every time I drag it into Lightburn, it has a white square background.
Use png format that way you get a transparent background
Can you please do a video on how to add the different lenses ie: 200, 300, etc to Lightburn
laser everything has a great series on doing this. go check it out the entire series on setting up your fiber laser is awesome
Hello Robert,
thanks for the great video.
However, I am surprised that with photos (not vectors) the set speed never matches the set value with a fiberlaser.
My 300mm/sec are slower than in your video.
But with vector graphics everything fits.
Do you know why this is the case?
Thank you very much !
Toby
good questions but for pictures I’ve never worked about it. at least in lightburn
what file format did you use to open up the labrador photo in Lightburn
Jpeg
I did a of slate for the first time yesterday while using the Omtech 180 fume extractor and omg it smelled horrible. Is that normal?? If not I wonder what the heck happened to cause the smell. Do you vent or use a fume extractor for your fiber?
oh yes it can smell tumblers are another one that stinks
Please advise a link to the supplier of the laser
Thanks
Ron

Do I need a mopa to do this
Not at all!
do you happen to do this with a diode laser
This was done on a 60
Watt fiber. I don’t own a diode so I don’t know. Thanks for watching
This was done a fiber laser, I don’t own a diode laser sorry!
Would u be willing to screen share my computer and give me a little class on printing photos on dogtags? I’m having a lot of trouble with my settings. I would be more then happy to pay you PayPal cashapp or whatever.
photos on metal dog tags are much harder to do than slate, I get very inconsistent results with pictures on metal. so I’m not your best resource. sorry!
Looks awesome. I was wondering if the slate scratches easily?
I don’t find that it does, I spray mine with lacquer before I engrave it makes the engraving pop.
