Should be better. Looks like there's a lip on the deflector that could be flattened or cut out.

Just curious about the whole porting process, wouldn't it be more convenient if they had different lengths of the connecting rods vs shaving off the bottom of the jug? (sorry if the terminology is incorrect just learning)
