For the record as Hydros is not in the UK yet I run all Apex gear. Exciting to see a little competition appearing. Can only be good for us consumers and reefers.

I love how Coralvue focuses on making top notch products that are useful and affordable but not sacrificing quality of the product! I knew I was investing in the owner, who is awesome!

Jimmy's size tank needs the X4 combo pack that comes with the XP8 power supply.
I've been using Hydros for six months and like it a lot. You can make it as simple or as complicated as you want to get the job done. Plus, if you buy Hydros you're not supporting the evil empire on the other side.

Been testing out hydros on two tanks and a mixing station just shy of two years now. Great experience so far, though I'd avoid the WiFi strip and use the XP8 for anything critical. Overall, it's been a fantastic system for me.

I would echo the comments of others. No to the wifi strip, get the pack with the xp8 instead. Worth the extra

Very important fact - you’re limited to 8 wifi devices per collective, so you’re going to find yourself stretched thin if you start piling on the outputs on both tanks.
Buyer beware: you’ll probably need to design your schematics and may need to create multiple collectives before you start buying equipment as you go.

NOTE*** This statement IS true...however, only true to WIFI Devices such as WiFi Strips and WiFi Feeder. If you do find yourself running out of WiFi devices, we still have the CONTROL XP8 with 8 wired outlets...and the upcoming launch with 4. There is no limit to growing your collective with more devices, but there is with the WIFI devices at @Trevorwhittaker2256 mentioned.

    Jimmy's WiFi networks 😂

The WiFi strips work perfectly fine - have them running for three years now…it boils down to whether you have a bum WiFi network or not….if not sure, just go with an xp8 that’s hardwired…options 😊
