The video is about the band itself in a broader sense. Some time before there were disagreements and the band was about to break up. The band then sought professional advice and was able to settle the differences.
In the video you can see at the beginning how the singer Till Lindemann is eyed by the other band members. When he then crashes, they all realize that they can only make it to the top together and no one is left behind.
In the song itself, I think it metaphorically describes a drug addiction. How does one perceive the world? How does one feel when waiting for the next drug shot?
As a rock band, everyone has had experiences with various drugs, although it was once said that they never injected themselves with anything.
Great reaction! But please don't only think of Till, the lead singer, when talking about them. Rammstein is the whole band and they all contribute. Now, I don't know if it's still like that, but Till used to not even be involved in creating the musical composition, he was largely excluded from the process until it was his time to write the lyrics after the music had been composed. When finished with a song, they are a very democratic band, and they don't put anything out there that all of the members aren't 100% satisfied with.
Side note: Till is known to have massive stage fright and doesn't like to always be the center of attention. I don't know if that's always why he likes to radically change his appearance, but I'm sure it plays a part.

I wanted to add that the metal plate they are chiseling is a nod to mountaineers. They would always have these little metal plates for eating and cooking. I love Rammstein💕 I love their live concerts which are always great and out of this world. They produce the best music videos I've ever seen and what absolutely blows my mind is the acting of all 6 band members. played so terrific in all their music videos.........

The director wanted to show that he died of internal injuries but didn't quite know how to show it..that is why they show the gangrene feet towards the end.
