Hi there and thanks for watching my little channel. I usually download files for a project to a folder I named "Working files". Then I open up Finder on Mac (or Explorer on Windows). I open Affinity Photo and set up the canvas size I want and then I drag and drop the files from Finder directly into Affinity Photo's canvas. That make sense?
Yes, I have used the "place" command to move one file... Can I move multiple files at once? If not, then I will try drop/dragging as you suggested. Thanks for the great tutorials! Take care, Jerry

The other way I do it is in Affinity Photo. I go to File and then select Place. That opens to the last folder I worked on
