- Today we got a Stage 2 Cammed LS3 2014 Camaro with a street tune that was near undriveable, with a few tweaks to the tune on the dyno, we made 475RWHP/501 FT LBS of TQ. Its sort of a Street VS Dyno tune scenario. Watch AMR Tune a Camaro.

What do you guys think? We are pretty happy with the results, and it feels much much better and is much faster. I look forward to doing more Camaros and maybe some Dodge stuff here in the future?!

I like your energy. I'm wondering bgg if you can make a similar tune for this with my motor. I would love to get a nasty idle tune for my sbc it is a 440 dart shp with Holley sniper. My cam specs are 240/244@50 .608 .614 lift 108lsa. With a 3k stall with th350 trans I made 400to the tires this was a relative moderate tune and I am new to efi. Would love any tips and advice I can get. I am using Holley sniper efi with the holley software. If you can work with that I will definitely become a customer

Wished I lived closer to you jakob. Where I'm at in Illinois, it costs an arm and a leg for any amount of dyno time.
We are $500 + credit cost for NA tuning and $750 for Boosted + Credit Cost.
1600$ for a dyno tune in northern Illinois....crazy.

I have a stage 2 on my G8 and it dynoed around 380. Kinda figured that it was low but not that low sheesh. Will have to go back and have the refresh the tune.
All depends on fuel, timing, tune, and of course the DA and how your local dyno reads.

Weird.. numbers seem high. No LTH and a stage 2 cam. Pretty tough getting 500whp without heads big cam.

Yes we do. Not common on chevy tho mostly hp tuners

Ws6Ms yeah I have no idea what he’s talking about the SS and the 5.0 are both equal in terms of the 6th gen and the 3rd gen 5.0 but I do agree the 5.0 was faster than the 5th gen SS but not by much only 1 car
Driving them the 5.0 feels much faster
U did a good job on that car but you can tell the other kid is used to working on mustangs when he said anything close to the upper 300 horse

Either one would work well. I have the stage 2 on 111lsa, only because the average hp on the 229/244 (stage 2) is a little better than the stage 3. The 3 is a tad bit more on the top end, and I mean tad bit as in 7hp or so.

Hey Auto Mafia, what are some tricks I could do to get rid of my surging. I have the same LS3 and Cam on my Camaro. I also have the software.
Take it to a competent dyno tuner. Or purchase an email tune from us
@@automafiaracing I took it back to him twice, and still couldn’t do it. I played with it myself and got it to stop during decel. But like you said in the video…light load is the problem.
The way that car is starting hot it needs the grounds updated. It’s a known problem on the 5th gen.

Naturally Aspirated we charge $500 + credits. A list of credits needed on HP Tuners can be found on their website. Most camaros are 2-4 credits.

TSP Stage 2 N/A LS3 229/244, .629/.615, 112 LSA Camshaft (25-TSP229244-112) I'm looking at this. 2010 camaro ls3 broken spring at 90,000 miles. Got it torn down and deciding on parts.
Is that with 94 octane fuel, im in Australia, we have 98 so should make abit more Power here.

I have a ls3 on my 99 Silverado with a stage 2 cam with headers and muffler got it dyno tune and the guy made 400. How did yall get that much out of it? Or do I have to change tuners? Lol
Might be the tuner. Our dyno reads low typically

That car doesnt sound good at all. The tune sounds way off.
LoL it runs and drives fabulous now that we tuned it. It came in sounding pretty bad. Its a stage 2 cam.
