I have seen a corroded fuse box do this very same thing with the same code, and have also seen a bad ignition switch for this same code, thanks for yet another repair on this code.

I have something similar going on... my ground wire shorted to the filler neck. I cleaned all the grounds along the drivers side self replaced the ground wire to the filler neck. Everything is strong, it just won't turn over. Since it's was a short i have 2 codes P0622 and U1000 saw this after connecting it battery after charging it.

Hey man thanx for the info in this video because I was had my 08 xlt trailblazer water pump go out as I was driving and it overheated shut off so I bought new battery water pump and alternator put it all on and still no crank turns over no crank you hear the water pump working but it’s driving me mad lol think this may be my issue
If you can, the Manual book you have for the cold colors I’m trying to find the one for the body frame for the trailblazer mines was cut completely on a deaf and they took my fuse box out. I have every other wires connected. I need to know the codefor the body frame wire bloom 2008 trailblazer
I have a similar problem same code on 08 gmc envoy 4.2 my ignition switch only last about 8 months and it starts set this code won’t start at times , or starts and dash lights get dim and stumbles to stay running. If I replace the ignition switch all goes away and runs like a champ for 8 months when the ignition switch starts to fail again. So I’ve replaced ignition switches about 5 times 😂already? If any had a run with this problem please respond. Thanks
Cant find the ecm connector diagram on all data. I see the path you took on top of the printed paper but when I get to engine Control module I don’t see a section that says diagram. Any suggestions
Sometimes they are hard to find. You can go to alldata.com or Mitchell’s website and pay for a 1 vehicle diy membership. Save all you can to a PDF and you will always have it.

It could be a few different things. The ignition module in the column which is easy to swap out. It could be a broken circuit inside the fuse box. There are videos that show you how to remove your fuse box and test for continuity or a broken wire like the one I was working on.
You can purchase them on alldata diy. Not to expensive and you get everything for your car. I usually go through and print everything as a pdf and save it
is it me or was their anything me mentioned that was resolved …. asking from a non mechanical minded woman . ha… i’ve no clue what u finally mentioned to dissolve the problem .
The last 3-4 minutes him putting that jumper wire is the confirmation to the diagnosis that there is a break in a wire. Specifically the wire he bypassed. As well he mentioned the long yellow wire that was broken early on in the video.
@@r.velasco6896 it's the fuze box motherboard when it gets hot it shuts the engine off till it cools down then you'll be able to start it again a day or 2 later till it overheats again. The guy who bought mines not too long ago knew exactly what it was. 🤷🏿 put his in from his old ss that he blew the engine on & drove off. Hasnt had a problem since. So buy a new fuze box module

Those gm power dist boxes are famous for developing hairline cracks in the copper wire traces.
