@@musictechinfo yes I can see how this could take a guitar and vocal and turn it into a great demo, many songwriters can’t afford to pay for session musicians and producers, many songwriters don’t have the resources and time to pay for expensive demos, especially if they’re prolific songwriters.
Thank you very much for sharing this. I'm new to Suno and, as a new Pro Plan user, it was very unclear to me how to use my uploaded audio. I didn't get at all that I had to click on "Extend" so that it actually uses my tracks. So I was stuck with an unchanged and unused track, which was driving me crazy because I couldn't find what to do either in Suno documentation. Your tracks sound very nice by the way. ^^
I’ve been experimenting with the upload feature. It’s a little unpredictable but I am massively impressed with the possibilities. Really changes what it means to be a songwriter!
Thank you. How does it work if you have vocals on part of a song? Will it make music with your voice and complete a song? Can it complete and mix in your vocals to the beat youre singing over?
Yes you can target what you want it to focus on so if you focus on the bit where the vocals are then it will try and complete but it can improvise a lot so you may need to give it a few goes and change the settings to see what works best. Hope this helps
Yes, tell the AI and the prompt what instruments you want to add. It takes experimentation and gives useable output about 60% of the time. Then you generate stems from the versions you like and edit them in GarageBand or logic, etc.
Complete newbie to Suno here . I have already uploaded my own lyrics and love what it does with them, but is there a way to also upload or guide it towards a preferred chord structure? Or even dictate the chords you would like it to incorporate?
Yes, after I upload my demo and lyrics, I use a prompt that says “USE exact same vocal, melody, and chords as in the uploaded track.“ Then I’ll say “add Symphony Orchestra“ or “add jazz combo”, or whatever sounds I want to experiment with as an arrangement for my original demo. I create about 10 versions, and then edit the best parts together w my original demo in Logic.
Thanks for your tutorial. But I found out that when you choose to extend the track, you have to select 'extend from (any time)', if you don't and click clear, the AI will regenerate the track based on the lyrics and prompts, which has nothing to do with the audio you uploaded
It was their inspiration that created A.I if they would just take our songs and make a hit out of it, we wouldn't be resorting to Band In a Box and Suno.
Thanks to Suno... the AI generates fantastic music... top in almost all areas and super fast... in contrast to UDIO, which has other strengths... in any case, my SHizzzo radio works great with SUNO
I’ve got mixed feelings about this whole ai thing, however I do like this feature as it lets you build off of ideas you may have scrapped. Great information. Thanks for the upload

First of all, congratulations on this channel to which I am subscribed. Friend, I have questions that must be shared by everyone. Please, if you know the answer, help me! I have songs on Spotify that I composed a long time ago, before AI appeared. Now I have a plan with SUNO and I wanted to know: if I provide the lyrics for Suno to compose and then I take this finished song and put it on TH-cam, will I have problems with copyright? I wanted to know how to describe this video clip on TH-cam (I certainly have to omit the fact that it was made by AI). Can I register the song made on Suno with my lyrics? In this case, since there is no specific legislation that deals with AI, then I will have to say that I did everything myself, right? My aggregator for Spotify is CD Baby. How do I resolve this issue on the aggregator? What do I say? That it is all my composition? And as for registering the score with the national library, how did you do it? Do you write on the score and the lyrics of the song that it was all your authorship? And at ABRAMUS, what do you say when registering the phonogram? That everything was done by you too? (lyrics, music, producer, instrument playing, singer). Even if you didn't sing, you will have to register it as if you sang, since the singer was SUNO who did it)?
If the previous Spotify release included content Id then it will be flagged on TH-cam. You need to be as honest as possible to cd baby. I have only released 1 ai track to a distributor and I was honest about stating that it was partly AI generated.
I now got it to work with using my vocals a bit but it doesn’t give a beat in the beginning and it still seems like in way to early stage to do something proper. But I am glad to see where it will go with this new feature
This is all well and good but why aren’t you telling people in your videos that once you upload your music, that suno and udio can then spit versions of it out to other users who can then claim it as their own. Or instead of just saying how great ai music is also tell people that you cannot copyright any music you create on these platforms
Because I am not an official spokesperson. I explained in that video I wasn’t going into other items. If you check my other videos you will see I have already discussed copyright issues. In terms of Suno and Udio it is their job to inform the public on these items. The video was about the upload feature and not every debatable topic with AI music and how it will be affecting the music industry.
This is a powerful song writing tool. The actual tracks it makes are just versions. You can take anything you want from it and use it to build your own songs. It's an endless bag of ideas and inspiration.
AI and Music: A Dream Come True for Lyricists?” Since middle school, I’ve been writing song lyrics. Unfortunately, I lack the ability to compose music or play any instruments. Growing up in a financially challenged family, I couldn’t afford music lessons. Now, with an autoimmune disease that has stiffened my joints, learning to play an instrument seems even more daunting. I don’t have the means to hire a singer or produce music to accompany my lyrics. However, discovering AI tools that allow me to add my lyrics, specify a genre, and create a song structure feels like a dream come true. But is it fair for me to publish this music? In the video it is mentioned how some have a great hatred toward AI created content or music, and I believe there is valid points to justify these feelings. I empathize with musicians who’ve dedicated their lives to mastering the craft, only to face competition from AI-generated music. If used correctly, AI could be a powerful tool without undermining hardworking artists. Still, I share concern about music becoming cheap and ubiquitous. On the other hand, hearing my lyrics come to life is exhilarating-I did write them, after all. While I grapple with the ethical implications, I appreciate the possibilities AI offers. Perhaps striking a balance between human creativity and technological assistance is the key.
They are still on the 3.5 version. I'm hoping V4 has better audio quality.
