Love Deddy's kitchen. I'm not Jamaican, but I grew up surrounded by the culture and food. I've loved Jamaican food forever. I now live in Tennessee and my favorite foods are definitely not in abundance. I love to watch Deddy's Kitchen because I learn to make genuine Jamaican food with humor and family love. So cool. I'll be buying a sauce with a cool bottle after this, lol.....Thank you for the laughter and the great recipe~ : - )

Hello to Deddy, Mummy, Sasha, the rest of the family and Aunty Shauna… welcome Aunty Shauna, super glad to finally meet you since Mummy talks about you all the time when she comes on the channel to make something.. Mummy always say how her sister Shauna is an amazing cook and baker!!! Now this dish made with a dash of this and a pinch of this and the secret ingredient, a sprinkle of love 💗❤️just looks soooo amazing!!! Just watching everything come together was amazing!! And these bad boys just look sooo delicious and mouth watering😋😋😋!! I can’t wait to make it for my guest when the weather gets warmer!! But I’m definitely not going to wait till then, I’ll need to test it out first a couple of times to perfect my skills!!! But the Colors just look soo inviting and fresh!!! Can’t wait to make it!!! Btw if ya'll shred the green plantains, season the shreds with little salt, onion & garlic powder....then get a small stainless steel colander or strainer cup size, press the shredded plantains firmly into the above mentioned cup size utensils & place in a deep fryer, cook till golden brown....fill with your favorite chicken, meat, fish or egg dishes. 🙏💖
You can use the the device that exquised the Juice from the lemon to make those mini basket, its more easy than use a bottle and bake. Just a suggestion.

So Gloria Estefan's have a restaurant in Miami Beach, and they make this with seafood stuffing, they are very good. Also use the green plantains instead of the ripe one. I am definitely going to try this with the Ackee. You guys are so much fun.

This looks like good party food to snack on. Reminds me of Piononos in Puerto Rico. They usually have them as street food threw the island with different fillings. Manchego, mozzarella and serrano ham or beach side where its mostly fish, shrimp, and crab filling.
