From my experience the answer to your question Gibbo, is the size on the package is the outside measurement of the shed, but Absco recommend you make your slab 100mm bigger on the width and length. I have noticed that your slab wasn't rebated, did you have any issues with water coming into the shed? Would you have any suggestions on how to stop water from coming through? Many thanks
Yes, the shed was designed for a rebate in the slab which I didn't have. Absco won't recommend this but I uses Selleys external silicone and ran a bead of it around the parameters, but not at the joins to allow the rain water to escape. Then I placed silicone on the inside as well. I haven't had any problem what so ever. Just be careful not to trap the water in the channel which may rust in time.

Thanks for getting back to me Paul, I appreciate it.
Hey, no worries on the reply. I just checked to make sure I hadn’t got my wires crossed as I think we also did the Ez shed brand too. It was definitely the Absco shed with the ez click system, I think having limited space was a big frustration with assembling it and I actually managed to put the roof on myself. The wind kept blowing the large side panels over too and had some customers pushing there trolleys over it like a speed bump! 😂 I came into work a few days later and a couple of fellas were pushing it out on two trolleys they’d bought the display I was mentally wounded 🤕😂 ( we had stopped stocking them)
I'm halfway through building the Absco bike shed, terrible manufacturing, holes not in the right places , some pieces too long to fit , incorrect instructions in several places, dreadfully flimsy materials so you could break into it with a can opener. For the price, bloody awful.
Hi you do some great videos. The great thing I can follow them clearly because I have some a couple of guys who are about to building one of these in the next week for me. I think it is may be the biggest it is 20ft x 10ft for a garage to house a classic car. What I was going to ask you what would you recommend what sort of lock would fit this type of doors on this building.
@mikelenton4501 Hi Mike, thank you for your message. There is not too much room on the door of these flat pack type sheds, but the pad bolt that comes as standard with the Absco shed can have a lock place in it. However, in your case, I would buy 2 more and place one on the upper section of the door and one on the lower section if that makes sense. I hope this helps.

@@paulwilkinson3963 Sorry to hear you had that experience. I have had a couple of people say the same but most people have commented that they had a very good experience. However, I also made anther video shortly after this one for a mate of mine using an EasyShed which is not a bad product but it was twice as hard with next to no labelling or pre-punched holes. Joseph was pulling his hair out which he really couldn't afford due to the lack of it. But, it was seriously difficult due to having so many components and very little instructions.
😂 I came into work a few days later and a couple of fellas were pushing it out on two trolleys they’d bought the display I was mentally wounded 🤕😂 ( we had stopped stocking them)
@@paulwilkinson3963 Sorry to say but that is hilarious! Thanks Paul
I'm halfway through building the Absco bike shed, terrible manufacturing, holes not in the right places , some pieces too long to fit , incorrect instructions in several places, dreadfully flimsy materials so you could break into it with a can opener. For the price, bloody awful.
Step 1 is to wear safety gloves.....
Thanks Ravindra
I hope this helps.
that lock is rubbish. Anyone can open it even if there is padlock on it
It's okay considering the price of the shed but I was thinking of upgrading mine but I just didn't find the time. Cheers
Yes Absco easier to build than Easyshed my friends bought & I'm the one who has to build it 🫠
😆 🤣 😂 you are a good friend! Cheers
