The quality and appeal of the soft, fluffy idlis are such that patrons don't mind a two-hour drive just to breakfast at this old-fashioned Kote Idli Mane. Hope you enjoy this episode, stay safe and happy eating!

    Good Morning, Sir 😊
Indeed it's worth driving 60kms to taste a "honestly priced" idli prepared by a humble man who has been working 14 gruelling hours each day for the past 50 years.
And the crowning glory was when you respectfully doffed your hat to him. I am so proud of you, Sir.
Thank you for travelling all the way there to make this video and give recognition to that humble man.
You in your own way are humble and never take the credit instead in your own inimitable style will say - " I only shine the light" 😍❤️🙏. Hats off to you, Sir.
Stay safe 😷, drive safe. God bless you richly.

This is pronounced as Kho -te’ not kotte.. Kho-te’ in Kannada translates to fort

“Byadagi chilli has an opportunity to assert its spice quotient to its fullest”- none other than Mr.Krupal can pen such scripts for a food vlog 👌👌 I am a huge fan of him. More than the food video I enjoy his erudite commentary!
Kudos to Mr Ramachandra and family to do such fair and service-minded business!!!

2004 to 2006 2 years of my PUC, I use to eat here mostly everyday. It use to be 50paise per idly. After traveling for 2 hours from my village, use to go here before my class start. It’s life saver for so many students and so many farmers who come to KKP.

There are eateries like these that exist in some remote places in our country , that use solar power to operate appliances and wood fire to cook food .
Only such establishments would be able to provide us good quality food at reasonable prices. But one must accept their modest setup rather than complain about it.

Having driven all the way from Bangalore to Kanakpura is worth watching. Hats off to Mr. Ramachandra and family for keeping the tradition alive for more than 50 years at rock bottom prices. Saluting the Hero for his hardwork, dedication and commitment without any money minded business mentality. May God bless them 🙏 Awaiting for your return to the house of Idlis.

Am visiting Kote Idli from past 20years. Though we have seen crowd increasing gradually. I saw many people coming from other places are not actually tasting authentic kote idli taste ie.from Ramachandra kote idli. Many people mislead with new hotel similar to kote idli. So make sure to visit actual kote idli hotel mentioned by Kripal.

Wow, Idly Costs Rs 15 per Pc as of Feb 2021 in almost all small restaurants across Bengaluru, where as this Man is selling it for just Rs 2.5 per Pc. It reminds me of early 2000's when idly was this cheap affordable.
