its a interesting interview. as a pvp ,. gvg player i can tell that he answered on point about the node or siege wars . on making alliances and also on not allowing other guilds to join cause they have to win. theres a lot of politics in there that demoralizes players from playing this type of content (specially so when the other side has more gear or more political/influence) . also he answered that the pvp in the game is REALLY REALLY on point that the pvp system is too glitchy or buggy (one cc and if you against a good player expect to be killed) . and the desync really puts off some players about it.
Nice to see that kr has the same problem in sieges as we in EU. Maybe we will see a merc change and also better rewards to winning sieges. Super interesting to get information from a kr player for once

I have to agree in succ valkyrie beiing top notch in pvp i have been succession valkyrie and then changed it to awaken i can really tell the difference it is a huge gap succ.valk is more tankier and have more resistance to cc and she can 3hit combo you
Let me rephrase that: when they want to grind they will grind, wasting time in pvp is useless specially when u have a shit ton of buffs activated If you didnt notice pvp inst that big in KR, they even say that siege is not worth when they should be doing for the pvp and guild content. Kr like to farm hard, the west likes to pvp hard

It only takes common sense to know thats not true, if it was guardian wouldve been nerfed way sooner, succ wizard would not be a thing right now, musa wouldve gotten pve buffs way sooner. The changes they make are very obviously catered to the KR meta and playstyle, ie guardian wasnt an issue in kr, succ wiz isnt a big issue in kr, musa is "OP" in kr. Other than that point, pretty interesting vid good stuff
@Tristan Han I agree with what you're saying about why he wouldnt know about na eu since kr does get patch first. however it was still surprising that he believed the devs listened to na eu, instead of kr. what you said about succ wizard is just not true, there has not been an inbalance as large as succ wizard since maybe release dk or mystic. You have players re rolling to the class in droves, you have players in node war and siege with alts for succ wizard to increase performance more than any other class in the game. and 1v1s is no excuse, since they have all the tool neccesary to win any and all 1v1 fights, just as much as other classes have to win against them. Succ wizard right now is a class that can do anything another class can do better, except grabbing. Guardian however I agree was tuned down, and is much less of an issue now. At the end of the day, what is "good" is subjective, because everyone has a different purpose for their class, 1v1s, group pvp, pve, ganking, many playstyles. It becomes an issue only when a single class can fill all the playstyles better than all other classes. Now, why would I say the devs definitely focus on kr playerbase? aside from the memes created when succ wiz was buffed, it is a fact that the kr playerbase culture is a lot less "tryhard" than na eu, so they do not hard capitalize on imbalances. this is why when 2 weeks of succ wiz buffs were the funniest thing na eu has seen, and was a clear cut sign that kr was getting the attention in terms of balance patches. All this said though, it is very clear devs are taking steps to even the playing field between succ classes and awakened classes, so things are definitely taking a turn for proper balance. Hope this cleared that comment up, also, when players have comments to make about balance, writing it off as crying hurts the game more than it helps, since valid criticism should never be thrown aside as simply crying, because most of the time players make very valid points about balance and know what they are saying.

Considering his answers regarding the top classes and how the average gs and meta builds are in kr, I would say it is because of 2 main reasons: first, ppl in kr are way more tanky than in other regions so sorc doesnt have that much kill potential by trading, and second, sorc relies a lot on knockdowns on her combo and he said that in kr their builds are shifting to adding more resistances, specially adamantine crystals which are already comon in other regions, so sorcs dont have neither as much trade potential nor cc potential as in other regions, despite being also way harder to catch, I guess ppl can ignore them more in kr instead of being forced to fight them so they dont wipe out half of your zerg.
You would think invincibly moving around would make them just want to quit. I understand :'D until you need to attack and can't trade with the wiz or CC them to combo and then get slowed and they Teleport away and then CC you and that abillity also kills you. They could continue attacking your charred electrified frostbitten corpse if they wanted to but most just laugh and move on thinking they're good at the game
Rubydrag has a right idea, sure sorc is annoying to catch due to the s but the problem is that we do absolutely no dmg in awak when fighting against people with high DP as we often have to cc reset them 1-2 times in order to kill them. In most cases in large scale fights, we are honestly either a distraction, CC bot or kill stealer, the relevance of sorcs in large scale is diminishing just like almost every other class. If sorc was really as strong as you think it is, you would think that more top PvP guilds will have more of them but in fact it’s the opposite as you would only see at most 5 sorcs in a guild. There’s much more to complain about but you just need to understand that the grass is not as green as you would think it would be for people who main sorc.

KR feels exactly the same as EU according to what he says, also apparently KR also hate gear gap, hate resists, go for acc.. all equal except duels for spot and desync, that's interesting.
at 15:00 it's worth noting that a couple weeks back they did a stealth nerf of swap builds, making it so that you can't change equipment within few seconds of combat. No more swap to DP build to tank Succ Wiz while regenning stamina, getting nuked in SAs all day long with zero counterplay seems to be what they want :(

I am not a whale, since the launch of the game I spent around 350 € to BDO, 200€ of it was completely useless, I don't know how much is monthly wow subscription nowadays, when I used to play it was around 23 dollars per month? So compared to that it is a pretty reasonable price. I have 280+ ap atm, have no problem facing 95% of players, I don't know what else to expect to be honest...
