Hey! Thank you for your guide, it was really helpful! I have a few questions though: 1. I noticed that you have hotkeys assigned for rabam skills. Do you ever use them with hotkeys? What is the profit? 2. Same question about DoD. I find it much easier to use DoD with hotkey, so i don't accidentally cancel (especially instant version) DoD into midnight stinger. Is there any advantage in using DoD with shift+e input instead of hotkey, so i should practice it more, or there is no difference? 3. You mentioned cooldown windows of your KDs when you release blade of darkness. Do you still keep an eye on those cooldowns during the fight, or you already have timed combos for every kind of situation?) 4. Last but not the least :D Whats the trick with double judjment? I know that has not much use in pvp, but i'm spending like 30-40 minutes every day trying to figure out those keybord inputs for that jump :D please set my soul free! Would be grateful for any help!
@@niechec3158 1) I mostly use Shadow Ignition with the hotkey, I keep my finger on it when I know I need to react with a split second timing versus openings like solar flare or a leap stinger. 2) DoD with Shift E is faster yes. 3) At one point it just becomes muscle memory and you dont need to do that stuff. 4)No :D
Only thing I would change with this video is you showing key presses. I know the ability names, but either don't know or am unfamiliar with some of the cancels. Good guide regardless :)
I have watched this video at least 20 times so far. Once when I first started playing the game all the way up until now (roughly 500-700 hours of active gameplay). at first I was so overwhelmed by this video, but as I grew as a player, each watch through made more and more sense. Now I’m killing some players as a gearlet that I really have no business killing... thanks for the great, in depth guide :)

When you said that Shadow Ignition need to be put into "Keyboard Input" at 1:56 what did you mean by keyboard input? As in the hotkeys like how your Shadow Ignition is in your hotkey number 4?

i must be stupid i'm sure, but the first 2 combos did not work at all for me. enemy just gets up midway through the combo. and they keep resisting all the cc starters.

in most of these your targets are standing, does it also apply to targets that are hit with a bound first? the main way I catch peeps is with TBS, MS is too risky n I get punish a lot for it on Xbox
Thank you, this really is an ultimate guide. Rablam is out on Xbox and I've been learning the advanced combos, sadly we have to use the ring menu (hotbar) for rablam so there seems to be some delays. I like using the advanced one that opens with midnight stinger, however the darkness released knockdown rarely goes through, the opponent stands up and I'm not sure if it's because the opponent resisted it or if the delays from the rablam had something to do with it. I have yet to actually fully do that combo because either my opponent stands up from/before darkness released or dies before I could complete the combo.
I think I know what might be the problem. In order to chain Shadow Eruption and Shadow Ignition properly it has to be done through keyboard imput (shift f and shift x on PC) otherwise there is a delay. Since you can't do that on xbox the delay causes you to float with SI, cc capping your opponent and ofc not being able to do 100% downsmash since its a float and not a kd

This is a great video, but I see no reason why you wouldn't have the key pressed UI turn-on... It's a combo video, that's like a basic thing that'd be nice to have. Or instead of the name of the skill the input commands for the combos. Maybe I learn differently than others, but the input commands make it easier to learn the combos than just the skill icon or skill name...
So I'm 259/269/280 and thinking of rolling sorc now that I hit 269. Would u say 259 pre-awakened ap is going to hurt me as a sorc? Where does most of the damage come from (preawk or awk)? I'm worried that I would swap all my weapons over and then be disappointed To be clear I mean for pvp. I'm very much a pvp main and do as little pve as I possibly can lol

this game really needs a 1 vs 1 arena whith a ranking ladder systeam and equal gear stats to make it the best mmorpg out here this game is perfect for 1 vs 1 but all content we get is zerg pvp

I know it's a little late, but this stuff is pvp specific. For grinding, if you haven't already learned, violation will one shot a lot of low level areas, and if it doesn't you just throw in another ability or two to finish off the pack. At higher level areas like aakman/hystria/stars end there's a buff/debuff sequence you should learn.

Oof not really, Shadow Ignition and Engulfing Shadow are massive for the sorc playstyle, I'd say just try to use Shadow Eruption instead of SI and some other burst instead of ES untill you get them

as in manually pressing shift x to perform the move
You need to press Shift F into Shift X to make the skills chain properly, otherwise there will be a delay
Can you please type the combo, like the keys required to do an intermediate PvP combo.
he literally showed each skill in order for the combos? if you cant decipher it into key combinations i dont think you are quite there yet

you should show how to your keyboard on screen so we can know how to use it, so many animation cancelling you didnt explain.

You can always check the skill icons yourself :p I also say the skill names btw

1v1 arena with trial or gear matched characters would be a really cool addition to the game and would be very fun
For rushing crow do you use the flow version or the c switch. Because I accidentally clicked the rushing flow version :

You have to use ignition with key imput, not hotkey

No, the downsmash is always guaranteed versus KD'd target, the timing is to execute a CC reset
