You can tell they’re trying to film while being physically distant. They did a good job, but it’s a bit sad to see that it’s happening. It’s actually the new normal... 😔
The fact that COVID exists on the show only heightens the characters need to remain distanced from one another to lower the risk of infection.
It's weird for Bow to not hug Junior in that moment and her and Dre to not sit closer on the couch. Like you know why they can't but it's not something I'm used to seeing on TV
Well, what do you expect? The cast and crew aren't living in a hotel that is on lockdown and in a bubble, they go home every evening to their families and are subject to the virus like everyone else. I agree that they are doing a great job with filming but they need to concentrate on comedy and less on the dramatics.
They did all that serious nonsense a couple of seasons ago when the show went DARK and Dre and Rainbow were on the verge of a divorce, they were trying to be NBC's 'This Is Us'.

I just love how Bo doesn't get angry but actually is like "hey buddy whats wrong" and just fangirls and doesn't have that weird over possessive reaction some moms do.
My oldest son, I only have two, 20 and 12. He said this was me with his now girlfriend. (The family didnt like any other the others; but thus one is a winner!).
He and I are extremely close so he didn't even know how indifferent I was to the others until he saw my reaction to this one.
Dad and little brother played bad cops so I didn't have too 😆

I think for blackish it makes sense their portraying the pandemic because they always tackle difficult topics and are always very up to date politically, but I totally feel you!
