Almost every single conflict in the show stems from Dre's insecurities. It kind of gets old after 6 seasons.

Same thing with Everybody Loves Ray, it just goes to show you how our society is. Whiny men who cry like babies and yet they are made to seem like the main character and centers around them. Half the time I got to block Dre out so I can enjoy the show. Which is a shame cause I like the actor but the character is just awful.

I lokey binge watched blackish from season 1-5 on Disney plus, haven't seen 6 or 7 yet but i can clarify one thing everyone else is saying. Omds Dre, what is wrong with this dude, he is so whiney, and to be honest how he treats his kids especially junior (seriously he straight up roasts his second eldest son) on a daily basis which is very toxic 🤦🏾♂️🤔i could go on but ive seen enough of the charcters that its obvious what they're traits are.
