"Hey, what's your number?"
"Oh, we're not there yet."
Teach me your ways, oh Diane!!!
Diane is one of the mean girls... Let's be real after high school, no one would want to be a friend with her...
@@alexandramercedes7956 right? If I had a dollar for every time I felt pressured to give my number, gave it, and regretted immediately...
@@angelikapotree2741 imo no she just sets a lot of boundaries but I feel like there are times where she would definitely be difficult
“The boy shouldn’t be your emergency contact.. yes.. I know about that!” Lmaoo 😭😭
Meanwhile up here about to power wash his mother's toe. Mmm mmm mmm *Ruby headshake*
😂😂 power wash his momma toes I love how Dre is such a mommas boy but it’s a problem for junior
They are too close however you have to admit, Jr should be the emergency contact. Dre is not reliable in that space. 😂😂😂
@@Neku628 right his momma come before rainbow or his kids it’s kinda cute and funny though 😂😂
They have a well adjusted relationship. Of all the kids he's the most like her and they have similar interests where you can tell that if they weren't mother and son they would totally be friends.
Diane is and forever will be the greatest Johnson kid that ever was born!! I miss her and Charlie being enemies
'What's your number?'
Diane: 'oh we're not there yet'
I need to start using that line 😂
Dre and Ruby can't talk about Bow and Junior. Their just ad bad.
They are worse!! Lol at least Junior is emotionally intelligent and responsible. Dre is immature and an asshole at times.
Ruby and dre are close
But she was tough on him when he was younger. She actually spanked and made him face consequences but also took care of him which is why he takes care of her
Junior on the other hand has been spoon fed and got away with stuff. Dre is a mamas boy but ruby didn't let him get away with stuff and even puts him in his place as an adult
Obviously she gets under bows skin for fun which is hilarious
"Cut the chord
Deliver the placenta
And Bury it in the ground"
I love this woman's acting
@@ambriaashley3383 I'm sure she is. Whoever that is?🤷♂️ However, "Ruby" is played by Jennifer Lewis.💁♂️
Why can’t Junior be close to his mom?? We all know that Dre doesn’t seem to give a damn about him. Too nerdy. Bow accepts him as he is❤️
It must be nice living in that glass house of yours, Andre.
@@minxxd The phrase "people that live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" refers to hypocrisy. Dre is criticizing Bow and Junior close mother & son bond while acting like he's unaware of his own freakish bond with his mother.
The hypocrisy on both ends 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I mean I think it's nice that Bow and Jr have a soild relationship. They like have mutual respect and trust for each other. It seems like Dre barely interacts with his kids unless it's to blindly lecture them about something he's completely misguided about or to comically roast them for making normal human mistakes or things that he deems socially unacceptable.
Mama's boy recognize mama's boy.
So are Junior and Bow “creepy close” because Dre has alienated him most of his life or has Dre alienated him because they’re “creepy close”?
It's the first one. Kids go where they find the most comfort. Jr with Bow and Zoey with Dre🤷♂️
@@govanjohn There are certain minerals used to make the structures of an egg that are only found in a Hens body. So the chicken came first.

Diane so real

Diane: Oh...we're not there yet.

Lol "Deliver the placenta and bury it in the ground."
And she said that with a the inflection and cadence of a Baptist PREACHER!
Do people do this in America or that was just an expression? It's the default in Nigeria.
Dre is the definition of a mama's boy. He can feel good about himself because she does live in their house. It's not Dre, Bow & kids living in HER house. Absolutely annoying as usual.
... I can’t get over how grown the twins are, especially Jack. I actually liked this video when he appeared.
Dre got some nerve talking while Ruby right there coddling him 😂
Someone is a mama’s boy but it’s not Junior. It’s Andre.
"What's your number..?"
" oh we are not there yet.."
...dead!🤣🔥
Oh ironic humor.....Jr more like Dre than Dre wants to admit- Jr just stayed true to himself rather than conforming to the "Floss & Stunt" lifestyle like Dre did and Dre lowkey salty about it, hence his ridiculing Jr like he does.
That's a total different prospective of the character, that actually never entered my mind, and it makes sense.
@@toridavis8335 Given how Dre was when he was a kid, not that hard to believe he was similar to Jr in personality but had to "fit in" in order to make it in Compton growing up and he kinda is resentful about Jr getting to live his best life being a "dork" as Dre sees him, which I'm sure Dre was once seen as before he became how he is today
@@iconkid9887 Definitely. Dre is probably still in that mindset of having to protect yourself and toughen up to get so far ahead, which is why he forces it so much on Junior and ridicules him for "being soft", but what he often forgets is that he had to be tough specifically so his children wouldn't have to be. And I agree, I think Dre is a little resentful -- you only have to look at his relationship with Earl to see it happening all over again.
@@iconkid9887 Considering all the jobs he took, all the things he had to do (including moving to California) just to keep making money and providing for the family, I'm sure he's set the very example Dre has followed ever since, and all so Dre could have the upper middle class dream office job and the suburban life he's now so used to. Earl hustled so Dre wouldn't have to, and yet he brought him up to be tougher, to survive in a country that would prefer his son to be dead or locked up. It's a fascinating cycle going on through the generations, where they're advancing their circumstances so that they can thrive rather than simply survive, and yet still teaching their sons to survive first, because that's what worked for them.
Unfortunately, what we're also seeing is that it doesn't give them room to simply be themselves or make room for their emotions. Really, Junior should be commended for being able to keep his softness, since it's the closing off of their emotional inner lives that does men such a disservice. Mentally, Junior is probably the most healthy because he has never been through the stress of Survival. I think it says a lot what the cycles of poverty and discrimination do to men -- especially Black men -- and their mental health, and that's something we all need to recognise and respect. The field of psychiatry needs to catch up to recognise these particular struggles, definitely, but we can all work to make having these conversations with our friends and family as easy and informed as possible. Talking is the first step to better mental health, and that's the first step to not passing our hang ups on to our children.
Did Dre ever stop to think that he is probably the reason Junior is Bow's Emergency Contact?😑
A husband missing (pop's). Dre been a substitute to his Mama. Bow lacking hubby love, using Junior as her emergency wheel. What a mess 😪...
Diane and sky need to meet like yesterday 😂😂
His mother 😂😂😂😭😭😭 I love this woman..she's always that mother
I love blackish, it is one my favorite show. Junior looks just like my son Joemar.🦋❤
"We're not there yet"..... 😭😭😭😂😂😂
That’s hilarious!!! Cause Dre and Ruby are extremely close like Bow and Jr😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I can't believe I just notice junior just like andre lol. both mama boys but I think andre worse
Now wha?! I know Andre and Ruby aren’t talking
Honestly I hope I’m close with my child. That’s literally the best thing to me. I rather that then to give birth to someone that can’t stand to be around me🤷🏽♀️they understand each other.
When no one points out how their mother & son relationship is they seem regular to me🤷🏽♀️but as soon as people point out thats when they make them act even more weird then normal
Same i rather be close with my children in a way that we know who’s boss but can still talk to one another in a way where we’re just like friends
Facts idk this episode was lame to me for that plus Olivia's moms one to talk, treat her like an associate
It's generally looked down upon if a son is close to his mother
Very few people would say this about a daughter being close to her mum
Double standardsb
As long as there are healthy boundaries ,no one should have a problem
Jack and Ashley are so cute 🥰 Hope he can figure out how to keep her interested, because when Diane showed up- well....🤣😂
Olivia's mom judged Junior and Bow's relationship, but didn't consider that they have a mother-son relationship and that is a different bond than a mother-daugher relationship. I think that's the message of this episode. It's the same with fathers and daughters, Dre really shouldn't talk since he has a ridiculously close relationship with Ruby and he definitely likes Zoe more than his other kids.
Awwww Jack 😩😩🥺
I keep meaning to pick this show back up (I enjoyed the first 2 episodes), but DAMN! Their little, teen, son has *GROWN.*
Oh Andre, what's that about the pot & the kettle?!?! Boy if you don't knock it off & go trim ya mommy toenails 😅😂😃😅.
... Emily is me, really trying to get Diane's number, that would be my life goal.
"Mm-HMM. That's 'cause my baby's always rightT." lmao I love her
I love this show!
Oh what's your number.

Junior and Bow = Dre and Ruby

First time catching this early lol 🤣
🤣🤣🤣 oh we're not there yet
The only reason it’s seen as “weird” is because our culture tells people that they shouldn’t enjoy their children(especially when they’re teens) and that mothers shouldn’t have a tight bond with their sons. If the same thing was happening with her daughter no one would bat an eye.
Are they making any “Diane” t- shirts yet? I would definitely rock her face on a shirt....
“We’re not there yet” LoL. OMG #Classic
Imagine if they made some sort of mini series about Diane and Charlie's rivalry.
Nah Olivia and her mom definitely had an associate type of relationship, only thing that was weird about the relationship was the part where junior was tryna feed her while they were out on the date with his girlfriend and her mom.
Oow we not there yet"😆💔
Lol that's me and my mom. My dad always complains about this to my sisters
Dre is definitely the mamas boy.
Junior just loves hanging with his mom
Am I tripping or did they already have an episode of Dre’s Oedipus complex
It wouldn't be so weird or creepy but I think Junior is the one to make it creepy. He's such a weirdo. Mostly likable but weird.
Whatching this as a fan of She Ra: Bow being the someone named Bow
Nice it's actually better now
So we just going to ignore how Junior barber done lined his hair to the gods😍😍I need to know whose the barber

The gospel by which we're SAVED. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV)(1) Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the GOSPEL (good news) which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; (2) By which also ye are SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain (self). (3) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST DIED for our SINS according to the scriptures; (4) And that he was BURIED, and that he ROSE AGAIN the THIRD DAY according to the scriptures.

To me dre is creepy close with zoey?
It's Dre s laugh for me
What season amd episode is this...
"What's your number?"
" O, we're not there yet."
Ouch! Ouch!
OUCH!!!😲🤤😫😒
Diane The Mean.
dre and junior are exactly alike. they were both neglected and emotionally abused by their fathers and latched tightly onto their mom to compensate for that loneliness and sense of doubt. like father, like son.
I agree to an extent, with a caveat. What Junior has with Bow is a friendship, he can absolutely go about life on his on, and march to the beat of his own drum. Dre however is co-dependent to Ruby. They need each other for survival.
I've seen this played out in real life, at home. The Dre/Jr relationship almost feels like someone was spying on us and scripted it.😁
What is Bow wearing?
Organization! Doting mommies. Look at Dre mommy pulls the strings
And what will I get from it all ? Nothing .
Love diane ,my favourite character
Thier not too close
dre and ruby can't talk about bow and junior because in one episode ruby said she breastfeed dre till he was 10
Bow and junior aren’t even super close. Y’all need to cut the bull and the shit. Junior is independent and nice to everyone especially bow and ruby!!! He is one of my favorite characters in black-ish.
So Dre sees him and his mom and his son and wife. Doesn’t like it but can’t see that that’s what he’s doing to.
I also can't wait to have a son oneday he'll be my baby my mama's boy😩🍼i actually want a boy to be my first child.
That beard
Yeah they are creepy close and so are Dre and Ruby the only reason Dre is worse is because he’s older give junior time he’ll be in the same place
Lmao
This has nothing to do with the topic but what happened to the baby?
Family matters would be ashamed of this.
Why Diane seems clearer. I hope she ain't toning that beautiful melanin
@@bro-ss2eu plus, it is very common for black ppls skin tone to lighten up a bit over time as well, this is perfectly natural🤷♀️

Ruby and Dre are total hypocrites in this clip

I really don’t like how they keep trying to separate Bow and Junior. He’s independent and he can do things on his own, it’s not like he needs her to do everything. He literally takes care of his self. That’s not the definition of a mama‘s boy, a mama‘s boy is a man who cannot take care of yourself; Junior was literally raising the youngest sibling for one whole season!
Nah a mamas boy is exactly what dre is
Look at whose saying it- Dre and a lady who only eats a grapefruit at brunch, bump them
Exactly If anything, isn’t Jack a mamas boy lowkey. Cause Zoey is 100% a daddy’s girl.
