One of the lurkers here ☺️ You asked about who writes the captions that are in () and I didn't see any comments yet so decided to say hi and post something finally.
For the original video/show, usually there are editors(?) who add in different captions and effects on the screen to make it a bit more fun/funny. And the captions in English that are shown in parentheses that you are actually reading are done by... I guess whoever was uploading the version you're watching...? LOL As you know, many times things are lost in translation and not as funny. The captions and effects are very common in Korean TV shows. Actually, when I was younger and not as fluent in Korean, I thought they were so weird but as I learned more about my own culture and the language (Korean American here), I find them to be so clever and hilarious! Anyway, since I don't comment much, just wanted to say thanks for sharing your couch! I kinda creep around the side and might be under a BT21 fleece throw where you can't see me much, but I love couch captain Roscoe and the couch crew both here and on discord.

I have very strong music memories. Any song that reminded of a certain emotion. When I hear the song I’m back there. I think the earliest song that has a memory is Angel of the morning. I was 7 riding in the car with my mom listening to it on the am radio. I was very happy that day. My boyfriend used to sing muskrat love to me. I can tell you where we were every time he sang it. Being 10 and listening to my older brothers copy of Eve of Destruction. It scared me and intrigued me at the same time. Or the first time my husband and I went out alone after my daughter was born. We went to a night club to see a friends band who was playing there. He sang Steve Wonders isn’t she lovey. I started crying and Art had to take me home to my four month old. I was 20 The day my dad died I was in my car on my way to my mother and leader of the band came on I was 20. I have a lot of musical memories. Good and bad. They always remind me of where I was, who I was at the time, and how much I’d grown or failed too since that time. I laughed once I was listening to my older sister’s album HAIR. In one of the songs it said something about the kama sutra. I ask my father what that was he told me it was a comic book. I was 13. I’m now 65 and I have so many musical memories.
One of these days....one of these days Roscoe.....you WILL look Jimin in the eyes, LOL!! Here's my throwback song: 'No One Like You' by The Scorpions. Before I knew he was my first love, my first love played this song for me while we were on the phone. He kept telling me, "Listen to this part" & I thought he was saying that because it sounded really cool. Goofy me finally figured it out that he kept playing the part that says, "There's no one like you" because he wanted me to know that was what he felt about me, lol. Yeah, I finally got it. He also carved our initials in a big tree in the back yard at my grandmother's house where I lived. We're still friends :)
Of course we want to hear your story! We all have that one (or more...lol) person who got away, or did us wrong, or broke our teenage hearts. It's incredibly painful at the time, but I now consider events like that to be learning experiences that taught me what I did and didn't want in a partner. Who wouldn't want 6 hype men at all times. I think they were taught from early trainee days that if you want others to hype you.....you hype them. They have always done it and I love it. I remember that Bryan Adams song well. Sweet Caroline was by Neil Diamond. I am going to send you a meme on Discord if I can of Sweet Caroline that cracked me up. If you look at the segment showing him wearing the glasses in the giveaway, he had black hair. In the Do You MV he had silver/blond hair. Thanks for reacting.

Bryan Adams "Everything I Do..." gosh, that was quite the song, wasn't it? There was this guy... He and I were friends, and off and on through high school, though never seriously. Summer of 1991 when that song came out, I was home after my sophomore year of college, and he was there as usual. We went on dates, and he may have even taken me to see Prince of Thieves. After that, the song was always on in his car, and suddenly the dating was more serious. Yeah. When we got married two years later, that was our song. We'll celebrate 30 years next summer. And since now we know I'm OLD, there was this song (in grade school? middle school?) that I listened to whenever I was sad: Micol's Theme by Debbie Boone. 😳 Haven't heard it in years, but I swear if I did, I could sing every word, and it would probably still make me cry.

I have so many songs that can bring me back to a specific time in my life good or bad. But I'll share a happy one lol... when I started dating my bf(in 2006) he introduced me to the band H.I.M. and I fell in love with their whole album "Razorblade Romance" and it just brings me back to just driving around as teenagers and being carefree. We both still love that album today.💜

Fun fact: the song Jin sang is one of 2AM. They are a ballad-type of group (2PM is their up-tempo counterpart?), and their leader is Jo Kwon.
2AM is under the company JYPe, whose CEO (JYP: JinYoung Park) was roommates with Bang PD, who in turn worked at JYP until 2005 making hits. After the split, several years after, Jo Kwon came to Bang and said he wanted to make a different type of music, but JYP contracts are... not that good, so Bang PD said "OK, you can have a contract as solo artist with me and release WHATEVER you want" because JYP didn't want their stellar balladist to... well... go other route.
Completely related to your journey, you'll get to know "I'm da one" (you saw clips of baby bangtan as backup dancers/actors in the MV) and "Animal" (ft J-Hope). If you watch these 2, you'll understand what kind of... detour Kwonnie wanted to have and maybe understand why JYP didn't want him to in Korean society ^^. Plus, till today Jo Kwon supports the guys and gives them shoutouts (congratulation ones) through twitter and instagram ^^
OMG ARoscoe Sweet Caroline is Neil Diamond rofl. First song that always meant something to me and still does isnt a relationship song per se, Its Nessun Dorma and it still makes me cry, my father love it and played it a lot and he passed when I was 18 and that song still takes me back to my childhood. Relationship wise I had a couples song with my 2nd husband it was Haddaway - What Is Love we arnt together anymore but the song still reminds me of him whenever I hear it. YES YES YES we want to hear your story please.
