I have something I've been using microfiber cloths for even before I found you, Melissa! After a shower, I wipe down all the walls and the glass shower doors (including the aluminum frame) with a microfiber cloth. I may have to wring it out a couple of times, but that's just fine. I end up with a dry shower in no time. No worries about mold and mildew or soap scum. Works great!!!
I work with a friend who turned a bunch of us on to this channel! We work 911 in Arizona. She ordered the cloths and brought us a cloth each, they are amazing! Thanks Val for giving us the cloth and the channel, and thanks Melissa for making them!
Let me just say, that your microfiber cloths are money well spent! Love all of them, so plush and easy to use. I usually hate dusting, but that yellow buffing cloth makes the job a breeze. Thanks!
Not every piece of information was "spot on". The microfibers aren't "sliced" (a mechanical process), but they are split by placing the yarn in a high pressure vessel with additional chemicals to change its PH. This causes the fibers to spilt using a chemical process.
@@melissanelson6680 It is really easy to correct this information on youtube by adding captions to a video. They are not often seen on some mobile apps but PC users will obtain accurate information this way.
Clean My Space Melissa, I would buy anything you sold!!! Like antimicrobial makeup...hint hint. haha. I love your channel, I love your ideas, and I love you!!! From your northern neighbor (MN).
Clean My Space how can I clean my ceiling fan blades without getting dust all over my bed and on the floor? Please make a video about this topic to help me thank you
I currently do not own any microfiber cloths and watching your “Everything You Need to Know About MICROFIBER CLOTHS!” video in addition to other videos was encouraging. I use a lot of Clorox wipes, especially in my kitchen and bathroom. This is what I would use the micro cloths for; it looks like it cleans better and will help me reduce waste (something I am getting into). THANKS! :)
I was skeptical when you said to use the waffle weave towel to dry hair. I got your microfiber towels this past weekend. I used the waffle weave towel on my daughter's waist long hair. I was thrilled with how quickly it helped to dry her hair. This cloth is so amazing.
Just bought a large kit. :D It's so cool they are being delivered worldwide now! I can't wait to test them out. Thank you for all the hard work Melissa!
YES! I am so pleased we are selling worldwide now - I am so happy these can go all over the world. Thank you so much for ordering. I hope you love them!
I recently ordered your microfiber cloths and have to tell you how much I love them! They are great quality and really work well. Some people comment about them being expensive, and yes, they do cost more than other microfiber cloths, but they are so worth it. I expect them to last a long time and continue to work well. Thanks so much for making them. It could have taken me forever to find high-quality microfiber cloths. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Ok! I've been putting off buying these for a bit, but I can't any longer. Just bought the large space bundle. Can't wait to use them. Great video. Thanks for all your videos. I'm constantly going back to see a video before I clean something.
I just got my set of Makers Microfiber cloths. I have a old ceramic tile floor that I could not get clean with a scrub brush or even a power scrub brush. My steamer cleaner failed as well. I also tried the DIY cleaners that you recommended. This time, I had cleaned , rinsed and then dried my tub with the fluffy orange microfiber cloth. I didn't feel like scrubbing the floor again this week, so I just sprayed the floor with all purpose spray and wiped the floor with the same orange cloth that I used to dry my tub. All of the old stuck on residue easily came off! Thank you so much for this brilliant tool!.
Since the microfiber cloths can't be washed with towels and usually softener is added to other loads of laundry, and it's not like there would be a full load of microfiber cloths to wash by themselves, how would you suggest they be washed? Thanks for all your great videos! Love Clean My Space!
Karen King It's not necessarily to add fabric softener to all other loads. If you don't want to hand wash your microfiber cloths, then do a small load.
Clean My Space Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Someone suggested to hand wash them. Would this be ok or is the washer the best? I have never used microfiber cloths before but I am looking forward to purchasing yours and using them from now on. They really seem amazing! :o)
I loved this video!!! I got some microfibre cloths as a move in present and they do NOT EVEN COMPARE to the ones I bought at the dollar store. This showed me all cloths are not created equal! Great idea with the hair towel as well!!! I cannot wait to order your large pack and use all over!! Thank you for these!!
Melissa, I love your videos I am moving soon and am determined to have a cleaner house! I would love it if you made a weekly and monthly cleanly routine schedule to go off and/ or how often you should be cleaning certain things in your hours weekly, bi-weekly, monthly things like that!
Everyone, without exception, should watch your videos because you are so efficient and smart. The amount of double handling I used to do before I watched your videos was criminal
Congratulations Melissa! And good on your for keeping them affordable - $35 for 5 isn't bad compared to other popular cleaning companies! Much success to you!!
Ok, just now seeing this. I'm old and didn't know SO much about microfiber, in general and differences, etc. Thank you. And I'm so sad, now, to see you are sold out of YOUR cloths! Will be waiting anxiously for January for your restocks!
The Waffle weave is my favorite. I can use it after a long bike ride to wipe the sweat, or, after a wash, drying the dishes. The flat weave green one is great to have in my cycling jersey to wipe my cycling glasses when I sweat and it's small enough to tuck it in the back. As a first time buyer (a few months ago), I can attest to the quality of these cloths.
Thanks for your comment. I was wondering wat further use I could get out of these towels, and for wiping down workout equipment and my bicycling gear is a great idea! You sound like a hardcore cyclist, which I am just a beginner with tons of weight to loose. Which means more sweat lol. Great tip.
In case you are wondering....Makers Microfiber Cloths 10 US dollars per cloth. They sell them in 2 packs so it's about 20 bucks for 2 cloths! That is expensive. Zwipes clothes or Amazon brand microfiber cloths are around 36 pack for about 15 bucks.
I just got my microfiber cloths in the mail today!!!! NOW I know what you have been talking about all this time! WOW! I have used them before but I never knew what was so great about them. It's obvious that you went straight for quality with these. The ones I was using before were thin and junky. I never knew why you raved about microfiber so much. I couldn't help but try a few out today and they totally do what you say they do. These are awesome and I can't wait for cleaning day tomorrow!!
It's product placement, but it's actually useful. I use dollar store ones for my basic needs and they do a good job, some have lint problems while others are great.
I received my Maker's Microfiber Cloths yesterday! I'm excited to use them today. I washed them up last night, so they are all ready to go! I bought the Large Space packet and an extra one for glass
I always wonder about this every time you post about micro fiber cloths. Do you use it one time after cleaning and then wash it???? Or if you wipe down your counters a couple times a day do you leave it in a place to dry and use it again? I really want to make a purchase and answering these questions would help me a lot! Thanks for always putting up great content! Love from So Cal :)
Sure thing! So, I wash mine depending on what I used it for. Dish towels every other day I change out, kitchen cloths the same, and bathroom right away. Dusting cloths less often.
I was wondering this too, thanks. And I have another question, do you use two different cloths for cleaning and disinfecting your counters? Do you use a cloth with all-purpose cleaner and then another one to disinfect?
caramelushca If your all-purpose cleaner is disinfecting, there is no need. But if you use a separate disinfectant, using a second cloth is a good idea, unless it is something you can allow to air dry. Just don't use microfiber cloths with bleach.
I have a few questions. I have been using microfiber cloths for 5 years now and love them BUT sometimes I still reach for paper towels in certain areas or still confused on some areas so maybe you can help clear up my confusion. 1.) The drying system. I'm always at a loss on how and where to hang the towels to dry after rinsing them. Visuals would be super helpful. 2.) How often do you reuse before needing to wash? After each use? Once a week? 3.) Mycotoxins. I am dealing with mold toxicity so neutralizing mycotoxins is a big key to my recovery. Cleaning solution wise, thymol, lemon citrus seeds neutralize mycotoxins but unsure if I could use just the microfiber cloth, solution is needed at all times, or if there is a DIY recipe. I am used to my DIY vinegar solutions on most cleaning but vinegar is said not to neutralize them. 4.) Toilets. This is where I tend to reach for the paper towels along with spills but I will have to give the waffle weave towels a try for spills. That being said, I cringe to reuse a microfiber towel on the toilets. Maybe its my clean freak kicking in, but I feel I'm spreading the bacteria all over toilet. I try to keep yellow microfiber towels for toilets but I have kids and they also help me clean. Keeping a designated color for toilet only seems to be a chore. Any tips?
I'm in Vancouver, Canada and am curious why the pricing is only in USD? With the poor exchange rate, it would be nice to be quoted in CAD when purchasing from a Canadian based company.
Congrats on a well-made video. I must caution users that when using microfibers on flooring material it can quickly absorb to full potential and then start smearing the material back on the floor. This smeared material does not come out easily. So, use a traditional cotton cloth or mop for larger floors or change cleaning pads every 100 sf or so. I recently converted to microfibers for cleaning vinyl records and I now can fully endorse them for this purpose.
Let's say there's grease and crumbs on my stove or counter, would you recommend a pre clean without the cloths first, then use them? Or use them to begin with then rinse them clean?
I just ordered the large set on your website. I'm excited to have good quality cloths that dont fall apart after awhile. Thanks! I'm glad I watched this video because I've been putting my current microfiber cloths in the dryer mixed in with my clothes. No wonder they dont last that long. But now I know and wont make the same mistakes lol!
Hello! Excited to get these cloths! Question regarding usage & care. When you say just use a general purpose cleaner like dish soap & water & vinegar. So you don't recommend spraying a cleaner for your granite & wiping it with the cloth? I don't want to mess them up. So only use those three ingredients? Thank you!
Nadine Akkari She means for most jobs you only need water or something simple. Since the cloths should be doing most of the work, not solutions with with harsh toxic chemicals.
Yes - those ingredients are totally fine. You can spray that onto the surface and wipe with the cloth. There's no need to saturate the cloth with product first. Enjoy them and thank you!
I have some microfiber cloths that I wash with towels or socks and they grab every piece of lint and twigs/splinters. It's a huge mess. You make cleaning and having a nice house look like so much fun. It's infectious
You can use warm or hot water if it's especially soiled but use low heat settings in dryer. Reason is to properly clean it, you would need that warm or hot water to open up those beads so all the dirt can come out. Also, waxes are fine, you might want to use a separate microfiber cleaning solution along with the gentle liquid detergent to extract it.
I've enjoyed watching your videos recently. Some feedback: my #1 beef with cleaning videos is when they inevitably end with "just throw ___ in the wash" -- whatever it is (cloths, sponges, towels, etc.). *Not everyone has a washing machine.* Not everyone even has easy access to a washing machine that's not in their home. Cleaning solutions that don't keep that in mind -- solutions that lean heavily on 24/7 access to a washing machine and a laundry room -- aren't that helpful to me. Just something to keep in mind.
I hear you and went years without a washing machine and dryer. Boiling with detergent (whether in a pot on the stove or in a bowl in the microwave) can replace the use of a washing machine. I use the microwave for drying but microfibers will melt if left in too long. That is why I do use cotton.
Absolutely amazing. Makers Microfiber clothes are the best I have ever used and I have used my fair share over the years. Won't use anything else now, unless it is for a job involving oil or car grease.
Wow! Thanks for this. I'm a clean freak and im always using my Hanes undershirts to clean around the house. I've had microfiber cloth for my car, knew they were cool but dint really understand how cool till your video. Cant believe i didnt know about this before. Its exactly what i need.
I can't imagine not being able to wash cloths I clean with in hot water. If these pick up a lot of bacteria as she said, washing in cool water and drying on low heat won't kill those bacteria.
Really ..i am so afraid of bacteria and afraid they will linger in my washing machine and they stick to my clothes or towels Afraid of getting parasites Afraid of getting eczema and severe itchy skin....i have sensitive skin Its because we are bombarded today with "you need to wash them hot" all the time @@roxanerice2538
just got these in the mail & can't wait to try them. It would be helpful to have directions & usage in with the cloths. I've marked each towel tag with what it should be used for, so I 'm not having to look it up each time.
The cloths look great. Just wish the prices were a bit lower for those of us on fixed incomes. $20-$35 for me for cleaning cloths is not in the budget sorry to say.
I have bought your cloths - they are really good, I use the purple and aqua ones with homemade cleaner made from white vinegar, borax powder and water - works amazingly
yeah i'm kind of tired of these canadians making youtube videos but their bigger target are the americans over canadians. I'll have a look at her product cause i'm doing auto detailing. But not sure about ordering these for auto detailing. I don't quite understand why she say don't use microfiber towels on oil or wax base products? aren't alot of auto detailing products have some sort of oil and wax substances in it?
thanks for the informative video! just something i'd like to point out. if you wash microfiber cloths in warm water, it shouldn't damage them bc using warm water actually releases the dirt from them. you're correct in stating how to dry them, but washing them you can use warm water.
I used to clean offices, and in training we were speficially told to wash them in 95C to get rid of the bacteria. I don't really trust anything less than 60C to get rid of bacteria.
If you feel comfortable with it that's fine. I've always kept to cool water and for anything with a high bacteria concentration that I'm concerned about, I use paper towel (meat juice, toilets).
My initial impression is that they are very well made cloths. They all stand up to the light test (hold up a Lowes or Home Depot microfiber cloth to a light and hold up one of your cloths). So far they are a very good value for the $60 pack to the point of me being tempted to benchmark test them by using one to dry me. I am 6'4" and pretty good shape and confident one of the bigger ones could probably dry me after a shower. As with any Chinese made microfiber towel, run them through the washer first to make sure any manufacturing solvents/greases/cleaners are removed. Final verdict: ++Pros++ -all pieces are dense fiber -large size -they work! -good value -free shipping -fast shipping -not going to find an equivalent product at any big box store -supporting a good TH-cam channel --Cons-- -none
I just ordered some of your microfiber cloths and i'm so exited to try them out! Thank you so much for posting such great videos! you've really given me some grat tips about how to clean my home better :) love from Norway
Wow, that was so informative, thank you for making things easy to understand. I looked up your store and used it as inspiration to purchase some microfiber cloths. Saved a few bucks in the process and ended up with four 'large house' sets for about $50, but your explanation and ideas are the bomb!
Wow! I never thought about using a microfiber cloth to wrap my hair in after a shower! My hair is past my waist so I’ve always bought big thick towels and they aren’t cheap! Now, thanks to you, I’ll be buying your large microfiber cloth! Thanks for the insight! Love your videos so keep them coming!
so for instance I spill a bottle of olive oil and happen to use my microfibre cloth to mop up and clean , I can kiss my cloth bye bye ? Can't I use it after washing with soap and hot water in the machine ?
this happened and I used my linen drying cloth to clean up , then put it to soak in a solution of warm soapy water with a cup of vinegar , fifteen minutes later I rinsed with warm then put it with the rest of my cotton tea towels and washed on hot with another cup of vinegar , no softener (as per usual) . Came out pristine but I somehow doubt this would work with any of my microfibre cloths
Jasbir Kaur Villaschi I think essential oils are a different make up than other oils. I'm not sure about Olive oil...I would love for some clarity on this topic....Clean My Space?
am single man of 63yrs and was blowing out my computer and dust went allover so I learned from you about micro fiber and realized I had a couple of kinda sticky clothes my son brought over ( orange) so I tried them on dust and worked very good at my age body is less able to handle dust and notice large amounts in heating registers
Hello CMS! I hesitated about purchasing these clothes for probably a year. I saw the black Friday sale and thought hmm I might as well finally try them! I wanted to use the microfiber clothes for a while to give an honest review. I wanted to try most of the cloths so I purchased a small space kit, an auto kit and a pack of waffle weave cloths. The only cloth I didn’t purchase was the optical cloth. I am a very VERY picky cloth person. I have literally tried every brand of dish towel. I have 3 drawers of towels in my kitchen. I would consider myself a home cook so my cloths need to stand up to the challenges in the kitchen. I have used Norwex clothes for years and wanted to see how these compared. Notes: -I live in an area with very hard water and I also wash all my dishes by hand. - I use my own multipurpose spray made of vinegar, dish soap and essential oils. -I have been washing them in cold or warm water with very gentle soap and I hang to dry them finish off on the low setting in the dryer. I have used the clothes for over a month now and this is my review: #1 the general purpose cloth: This cloth is awesome. It’s so absorbent; I can’t believe how much liquid it can suck up. I have been using it for general cleaning around the kitchen and house. #2 the waffle weave cloth: 1 word: AMAZING. I would buy a hundred of these if I could afford it! I have never had a tea towel be so absorbent and dry dishes better than this! I hosted my family at Christmas and they all raved about these clothes. I ended up purchasing some as gifts for relatives. I also use it for a hair towel as Melissa suggested. My hair dries soo fast and it’s more shiny and manageable. #3 the glass and electronics cloth - I have only used this to clean mirrors and my glass coffee tables. I spray the surface with a multipurpose spray similar to Melissa’s. They work great! #4 the makers mini cloth -I love this cloth and have been using it with my baby to clean her face and wipe down her highchair after meals. Same great quality as the general purpose clothes - just smaller. #5 the double - sided utility cloth - I haven’t used this cloth as much, but it is soooo plush and soft. I used it to clean the front of my stove and it worked well. I could see how it would work great for stainless steel appliances. If you are hesitating on buying any of these clothes....DON’T. I wish I didn’t wait so long. I actually ordered a few more cloths on Boxing Day!
Dump the Pledge! It leaves a film (you might not see it but it's there) and more dust collects on the surface. It also has chemicals that are sprayed into the air and then you breath it in. Use a dry microfiber cloth folded into quarters and change the surface as it gets soiled. If your furniture feels dirty clean it with water and a few drops of castile soap then rinse and dry with a MCF cloth. If you skip all the sprays and waxes your furniture won't feel dirty!
Very informative. I ordered a set and can't wait to get them. I just got an LCD tv and I'm very nervous about cleaning the screen because I don't want to scratch it. Everyone I've talked to said Microfiber is the way to go so that will be my first use.
Thank you for making this video...I've been washing my microfiber cloths all wrong, all along. I ordered your set last night, can't wait to get them and now I know how to care for them! :)
Ju Lia I'm wondering the same! I wonder if washing them each time after using them to clean the bathroom and the kitchen sink would make sense since they're germ-ridden surfaces, but as far as other cloths, I'm not sure. Hopefully Melissa answers!
Depends on what you are cleaning, if you are cleaning windows, I would say use it a few more times but if it's something with a lot of dirt, put it away and wash it.
I wash mine depending on what I used it for. Dish towels every other day I change out, kitchen cloth the same, and bathroom right away. Dusting cloth less often.
While dollar store clothes are super cheap (and useless) I found that they actually are really good for shining up the stainless steel elevator at the apartment building I clean. There's also a cloth from the Kirkland brand at Costco that's super absorbent and I use it to wipe down the rubber stair noses in the same buildings as they absorb around 30 to 40 stair noses worth of water and cleaner before needing to switch.
wow thank you for sharing all this info on microfiber cloths,I didn't know about not washing with towels or not to dry them on high heat, which I've done them both :( I did learn after already using a softner not to do that.I love watching all ur vids and thks for them,as soon as I can afford ur micro cloths I'm definitly getting some! Hope you have a great day today and thanks again ☺🎄🎁💝💖🙏
Add water to a basin, a teaspoon of gentle detergent, rub cloth together to get rid of dirt and build up, rinse well removing all detergent and hang to dry!
Clean My Space is Tide considered a gentle detergent? or do you mean woolite? Also I am very concerned about washing microfiber cloths without warm or hot water. How do they get sanitized?
First, Tide isn't a gentle detergent, try Dreft. Woolite isn't really gentle either. Try Eucalan. It's made from eucalyptus oil and lanolin and is great for delicates and wool! Soap and cool water will clean the cloths. We're not talking sterile here.
MrsMTMomma Eucalan is great for wool items (because it replenishes the lanolin in the wool), but it might leave a lanolin/oily residue on other types of fabric that don't need it. It might clog the fibres of the microfibre cloths! A non-lanolin detergent is better for microfibre cloths (but do use the Eucalan for real wool items 👍)
I really like the colors of your cloths. I know how great microfiber is after using a popular MLM company's microfiber cloths. Your cloths look comparable, and more affordable. I plan to give yours a try!
Out of my reach $$. Living in California, child in college and one in HS it’s out of my range. They’re pretty but maybe coupons or specials. Video makers receive these items free to test and review on your channels. I’ve fallen in love with so many review products that I’m sure there are comparables. Thanks for your great videos!
I have gotten one of the microfiber cloth from this site I have the one that is able to clean glass and electronics and it works great and it’s a great quality cloth and it’s worth the money I would have to give it five stars
Thank you very much for this video. I‘m watching from Germany :) I have a few questions: 1. How many Microfiber cloths do you recommend having in your household? 2. Do you have a system where you only use one kind of microfiber cloth for a specific room? For example one is just for the kitchen, one for the bathroom, one for bedrooms etc. Or how do you use them? 3. How often do you wash the cloths after use? I hope you can answer my questions:) Thanks a lot
Answer for number 2 and 3 2. She does recommend using one color of cloth in the kitchen and one color ink bathroom (ex: kitchen is purple and bathroom is blue). 3. In this video she says you can rinse out your cloths after every use and air dry. After a couple of times following that routine, you should launder them th-cam.com/video/nhU2F-0e0dc/w-d-xo.html
I found that microfiber cloths in the dryer get static and attach to other things. That's fine, but I think a low temperature would be better? A nice bonus though... It attracted any loose hair from the drying cycle. I did have to pluck it off...
So maybe this is a stupid question: if oils (like in oil-based cleaners) are bad for microfiber, should I even clean grease stains with them? Great work on ALL of your videos by the way!!
THANKS SOOOO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!!! I was really confused and did not have any idea which microfiber to get and how to care for them. There's so much on the market and so much info online it's hard to figure out what's legit and what's not. Thanks a billion. Gonna check your site now. Hoping that you have a variety pack 😊
When you are sanding wood, it will pick up the dust and keep it locked in, and the amount it can hold is surprising. Just use it dry. Ideal for indoor sanding purposes.
Cloths just arrived today and I like them. It would have been helpful to have included a note about uses for each type of cloth. But I just watched the video again, so no worries.
Your prices are way toooo high for some cleaning RAGS. .no matter how great quality you say they are. You'd figure that you'd offer great launch pricing. .like do a promo with 50% off for the first 2 weeks or so. .please think about it. It'll give more people a chance to try them out.
I don't have the money but if I did I would invest in them. I think the prices are reasonable considering they are high quality and will last with proper care. I'm sure if I did the math I spend that easily a year on cleaning products and paper towels. The fact that you can use these with just water is pretty cool.
I know it can seem expensive, but you spend more on paper towel in 6 months than you would on a kit of cloths. The cloths are amazing quality and with that comes a price that is more than a cheap dollar store cloth. We tried our very best to make the pricing as reasonable as possible but we did invest a lot in the best quality yarns and we work with a really amazing factory...so...not everything can be so cheap.
Hi Melissa 😊. I use microfiber cloths all the time and I love them too! However, I always wash mine on the sanitize cycle in my washing machine and dry them on high heat. I've had mine for years and am looking to replace them. Moving forward, if I wash them in cold water, how do they get disinfected? I use mine all over the house and have separate ones for the toilet, but they do get laundered together which is why I use the sanitize cycle. I would love to get your thoughts on this. Thanks much!!
Hey that's great to hear! Glad you love them and you are all welcome!
I bought a pack of 5 of these in the auto section of my grocery store for $3.50. Already putting them to good use. Thank you, Melissa!
Let me just say, that your microfiber cloths are money well spent! Love all of them, so plush and easy to use. I usually hate dusting, but that yellow buffing cloth makes the job a breeze. Thanks!
Thank you for all your support - we love you guys!
Clean My Space Love you two as well!!! You have save Me and my families life!!!!
Second this!
Can I use liquid detergent to clean micro fibre cloth?
Do you have to shake dust off microfiber cloth before putting in washing machine?
I cross checked all of what you said just to be sure and amazingly, every single piece of information you gave out was spot on! Great work!
.... And after you questioned what you were doing with your life??? 😅😉🙃
Not every piece of information was "spot on". The microfibers aren't "sliced" (a mechanical process), but they are split by placing the yarn in a high pressure vessel with additional chemicals to change its PH. This causes the fibers to spilt using a chemical process.
How bored do you have to be?
@@melissanelson6680 It is really easy to correct this information on youtube by adding captions to a video. They are not often seen on some mobile apps but PC users will obtain accurate information this way.

Woohoo!! Thank you so much for the order and your support - I'm sure you'll love them! Let me know what you think when they arrive...
That's wonderful to hear! Yay!
Thank you! Great question - you always want to wash the cloths separately. Put your washer on the smallest load setting and use that.
Clean My Space Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Someone suggested to hand wash them. Would this be ok or is the washer the best? I have never used microfiber cloths before but I am looking forward to purchasing yours and using them from now on. They really seem amazing! :o)
karmich k she said to another comment that you can hand wash them also and hang to dry. Just dont use any fabric softener
This was an awesome question and I also had this question. Thank you for asking it and CMS, thank you for responding! :)
Hahaha! I am glad to hear that. I am all about efficiency. I hate wasting time cleaning LOL!
I just got mine for Christmas! I'm so excited to start cleaning, I can barely contain myself!
I LOVE MICOFIBER Cloths....... Seriously One of the BEST products they ever came up with
The Waffle weave is my favorite.
That's awesome Michael! Thanks for your comment!
Thanks for your comment. I was wondering wat further use I could get out of these towels, and for wiping down workout equipment and my bicycling gear is a great idea! You sound like a hardcore cyclist, which I am just a beginner with tons of weight to loose. Which means more sweat lol. Great tip.
I've used microfiber cloths for years, but yours are so much better quality
In case you are wondering....Makers Microfiber Cloths 10 US dollars per cloth. They sell them in 2 packs so it's about 20 bucks for 2 cloths! That is expensive. Zwipes clothes or Amazon brand microfiber cloths are around 36 pack for about 15 bucks.
Joel Garcia are the zwipes a good quality cloth
I get mine at the dollar tree. :)
The microfiber cloths offers by Melissa are of a totally different quality
I agree.
@@lina8605 unfortunately quality is irrelevant if they're unaffordable 😢
I just got my microfiber cloths in the mail today!!!! NOW I know what you have been talking about all this time! WOW! I have used them before but I never knew what was so great about them. It's obvious that you went straight for quality with these. The ones I was using before were thin and junky. I never knew why you raved about microfiber so much. I couldn't help but try a few out today and they totally do what you say they do. These are awesome and I can't wait for cleaning day tomorrow!!
I am so pleased to hear this! YAY!
It's product placement, but it's actually useful. I use dollar store ones for my basic needs and they do a good job, some have lint problems while others are great.
Truly are the best cleaning cloths I have ever bought. The sizes are so generous. Thank you for a product that does what it says it will do.🤗
I love your videos Melissa and have learned so much from watching them. Please keep them coming!
I'm so glad you love the videos! You bet we will!
Clean My Space
o me año
caramelushca If your all-purpose cleaner is disinfecting, there is no need.
Any tips?
didn't realize that there were different types of microfiber... definitely need one for electronics.
I got mine a couple of weeks ago and I am soooo happy with them.
They work really well and I can't use any other cloth now. Amazing!!!
Wonderful to hear! Yay!
I'm in Vancouver, Canada and am curious why the pricing is only in USD? With the poor exchange rate, it would be nice to be quoted in CAD when purchasing from a Canadian based company.
I order from Canada to Amarillo, Tx and the shipping is $16.
Great information! Thanks!
Let's say there's grease and crumbs on my stove or counter, would you recommend a pre clean without the cloths first, then use them? Or use them to begin with then rinse them clean?
Great question! I wipe anything really greasy up with paper towel or a cotton cloth, but the crumbs are totally fine to be wiped up with the cloths!

Wonderful to hear - I am glad I am motivating you to clean! That's why you have to wash them separately!
Melissa, do you still add Essential Oils to your all purpose cleaner when using your new cloth?
I would like to know the same thing. Thanks. :)
It's strange that this good question which I was wondering as well DIDN'T get answered . Why?
I love how you get so damn excited about microfibre cloth! :)
Also thanks for the cleaning tips.
Ha! I know. Sometimes I surprise myself. You are most welcome!
Gayle Mayberry you don’t need to kill the bacteria. You just need to wash them out of the cloths.
Roxane Rice great answer!
Really ..i am so afraid of bacteria and afraid they will linger in my washing machine and they stick to my clothes or towels
Afraid of getting parasites
Afraid of getting eczema and severe itchy skin....i have sensitive skin
Its because we are bombarded today with "you need to wash them hot" all the time @@roxanerice2538
just got these in the mail & can't wait to try them.
Lynn dollar tree have them
Are they regular microfiber cloths or Makers brand microfiber cloths?
@@christinamartinez7972 the ones I've seen are regular microfiber cloths. Pretty sure the only place you can get Makers brand is from her website.
Most people i know use a cheap cleaning cloth. Remember she needs to sell...
I have been wanting these for awhile now. I just ordered the large set! So excited to finally have good quality cloths!!
I cut, sewed & repurposed cloths for makeup wipes. Ever use them for that?
I have bought your cloths - they are really good, I use the purple and aqua ones with homemade cleaner made from white vinegar, borax powder and water - works amazingly
If you are in Toronto and I am in Burlington, why do I have to pay the exchange and shipping from the U.S.? Aren't your cloths available in Canada?
yeah i'm kind of tired of these canadians making youtube videos but their bigger target are the americans over canadians. I'll have a look at her product cause i'm doing auto detailing. But not sure about ordering these for auto detailing. I don't quite understand why she say don't use microfiber towels on oil or wax base products? aren't alot of auto detailing products have some sort of oil and wax substances in it?
Her cloths might be made in USA
thanks for the informative video! just something i'd like to point out. if you wash microfiber cloths in warm water, it shouldn't damage them bc using warm water actually releases the dirt from them. you're correct in stating how to dry them, but washing them you can use warm water.
Final verdict:
++Pros++
-all pieces are dense fiber
-large size
-they work!
-good value
-free shipping
-fast shipping
-not going to find an equivalent product at any big box store
-supporting a good TH-cam channel

-none

I just ordered some of your microfiber cloths and i'm so exited to try them out! Thank you so much for posting such great videos! you've really given me some grat tips about how to clean my home better :) love from Norway
Question, what did u use to clean the kitchen stove glass?
Wow, that was so informative, thank you for making things easy to understand. I looked up your store and used it as inspiration to purchase some microfiber cloths. Saved a few bucks in the process and ended up with four 'large house' sets for about $50, but your explanation and ideas are the bomb!
You bought 4 cloths for $50? 👀
How do you disinfect your microfiber cloths? I'd assume in hot water but you recommend against that. Thanks!
in the description of the cloths on the website it says to soak them in a solution of vinegar and water. Look at the site for ratios.
You cloths are amazing!!!! The orange one really took the dust off my dashboard
you had me when you talked about using the tea towel for your hair. omg! i totally need that. :) love your videos!
Lucero Vazquez Me too! :)
It's the BEST. I did it this morning (did you see my Instagram story LOL?) I love it for that purpose so much!
I would love to know too! what will be a good cloth to clean up oily mess?
this happened and I used my linen drying cloth to clean up , then put it to soak in a solution of warm soapy water with a cup of vinegar , fifteen minutes later I rinsed with warm then put it with the rest of my cotton tea towels and washed on hot with another cup of vinegar , no softener (as per usual) . Came out pristine but I somehow doubt this would work with any of my microfibre cloths
Jasbir Kaur Villaschi she said when grease touches a microfiber cloth, it's ruined
Anyone used these? They look amazing! How do they compare to Norwex?
Kensie Goff I would like to know that too!
Me too
Notes:
-I live in an area with very hard water and I also wash all my dishes by hand.
- I use my own multipurpose spray made of vinegar, dish soap and essential oils.
-I have been washing them in cold or warm water with very gentle soap and I hang to dry them finish off on the low setting in the dryer.
I have used the clothes for over a month now and this is my review:
#1 the general purpose cloth: This cloth is awesome.
What kind do you suggest to use with Pledge furniture cleaner and polish on semi-glossy wooden furniture?
Kato x I am interested to know as well. if someone can suggest ideas will be great!
This is EXACTLY what I was thinking and wondering since pledge has oil?!
I love microfibre cloths for dusting. It just grabs EVERYTHING!! It's amazing, especially since I have two white fur babies.
WOO!!!!
it would be nice if the uses were on the tag, ex: glass/ electronic, general, dusting, drying
You`re from Toronto! Me too! Yay!
Thanks so much for shipping your products from within Canada!
My apartment is going to be so clean! Haha
Yes! It's great at picking up kitty hair too!
Well, I've definitely got plenty of that around. Haha
Very informative. I ordered a set and can't wait to get them. I just got an LCD tv and I'm very nervous about cleaning the screen because I don't want to scratch it. Everyone I've talked to said Microfiber is the way to go so that will be my first use.
Shut up and take my money!... No seriously, please do, because I ordered a set. :)
Thank you for making this video...I've been washing my microfiber cloths all wrong, all along. I ordered your set last night, can't wait to get them and now I know how to care for them! :)
WOO! I know you'll really enjoy them. Thank you for ordering!
Can I wash the general towels with the waffle weave towels or do the towels have to all be washed separately?
The care is so important. Thank you!
How often do you wash the microfiber cloths?
Ju Lia I'm wondering the same! I wonder if washing them each time after using them to clean the bathroom and the kitchen sink would make sense since they're germ-ridden surfaces, but as far as other cloths, I'm not sure. Hopefully Melissa answers!
Depends on what you are cleaning, if you are cleaning windows, I would say use it a few more times but if it's something with a lot of dirt, put it away and wash it.
Yes exactly!
Head smack - I think I need to ditch all my rags and start over! :D
wow thank you for sharing all this info on microfiber cloths,I didn't know about not washing with towels or not to dry them on high heat, which I've done them both :( I did learn after already using a softner not to do that.I love watching all ur vids and thks for them,as soon as I can afford ur micro cloths I'm definitly getting some! Hope you have a great day today and thanks again ☺🎄🎁💝💖🙏
How do I clean micro fiber cloths by hand? I don't own a washing machine.
Add water to a basin, a teaspoon of gentle detergent, rub cloth together to get rid of dirt and build up, rinse well removing all detergent and hang to dry!
Thanks Melissa...your a gem!!!!
Would you recommend hand washing them?
Shawna Kay i'd lovevto know too. i live in an apartment and only get to a laundry maybe once a week
Keisha Jones same here, and it's $3 a load so the idea of only washing them alone is scary haha! I FILL those machines 😂.
Shawna Kay i just googled. you ca definitely wash them by hand and then air dry 👍
You totally can!
Out of my reach $$. Living in California, child in college and one in HS it’s out of my range. They’re pretty but
maybe coupons or specials. Video makers receive these items free to test and review on your channels. I’ve fallen in love with so many review products that I’m sure there are comparables. Thanks for your great videos!
Hard water cleaner for shower glass doors and fiberglass floors.
Look for full-strength vinegar!
I have gotten one of the microfiber cloth from this site I have the one that is able to clean glass and electronics and it works great and it’s a great quality cloth and it’s worth the money I would have to give it five stars
Do not use soaps with colors or scents, wash in warm water and cold rinse, dry on low heat for 5 minutes then switch to air dry only for 30 minutes.
Do not use powdered soaps. They have a tendency to stay in the fibers and not dissolve completely.
AlapahaGuy
Thank you very much for this video. I‘m watching from Germany :)
I have a few questions:
I hope you can answer my questions:)
Thanks a lot
Answer for number 2 and 3
2. She does recommend using one color of cloth in the kitchen and one color ink bathroom (ex: kitchen is purple and bathroom is blue).
3. In this video she says you can rinse out your cloths after every use and air dry. After a couple of times following that routine, you should launder them th-cam.com/video/nhU2F-0e0dc/w-d-xo.html
can you air dry them? i dont have a dryer.. lol
Great question - I think that is an even better option than drying in a dryer.
Gnar The Missing Link She said so in the video!!
Of course you can!
Gnar The Missing Link my favorite champ!!!!😍
I found that microfiber cloths in the dryer get static and attach to other things. That's fine, but I think a low temperature would be better? A nice bonus though... It attracted any loose hair from the drying cycle. I did have to pluck it off...
So maybe this is a stupid question: if oils (like in oil-based cleaners) are bad for microfiber, should I even clean grease stains with them?
Great work on ALL of your videos by the way!!
im really worried about the environmental effect from this new cloths, I've been using them to clean for my job but it is a concern i have
THANKS SOOOO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!!!
I was really confused and did not have any idea which microfiber to get and how to care for them. There's so much on the market and so much info online it's hard to figure out what's legit and what's not. Thanks a billion. Gonna check your site now. Hoping that you have a variety pack 😊
You are MOST welcome - I am so glad it cleared it all up for you. We do have two variety packs! Thank you for checking them out!
When you are sanding wood, it will pick up the dust and keep it locked in, and the amount it can hold is surprising. Just use it dry. Ideal for indoor sanding purposes.
You forgot to mention to rip the tag off, it can sometimes get in the way and scratch surfaces
Bruh but it says Makers 😍 lol

Cloths just arrived today and I like them. It would have been helpful to have included a note about uses for each type of cloth. But I just watched the video again, so no worries.
Your prices are way toooo high for some cleaning RAGS. .no matter how great quality you say they are. You'd figure that you'd offer great launch pricing. .like do a promo with 50% off for the first 2 weeks or so. .please think about it. It'll give more people a chance to try them out.
R RL CTHU!!! cleaning rags
Thank you for your support!
R RL
I purchased a few for my car but have since transferred my excess stock to home use thanks to your advice!
Perhaps President Trump would be seen in a more positive light if he had given out microfiber cloths rather than paper towels in Puerto Rico.
spectrum10- Your comment made my day,,,week! Lol
