AMS2 TOP World record Formula Retro G1 Brabham BT44 Hockemheim 1977

Hey guys this is the 1st world record for this car and track combo, I grew up watching 90/00 F1 era and driving this is just phenomenal, fantastic and marvelous, and as a Lole Reutemann fan being an Argentinean myself, this is a good tribute for his legacy as a racing driver time was 1:52:279. The car, man, such a masterpiece, a bit more complex to understand to properly tune it, the car was very criticised because of its short wheelbase in comparison for example the Lotus 72 or the McLaren M23, being just 2.47 Metres long, the car is very unstable sure, this is your ally once you master it to obtain the record but with some hot laps you get comfortable with it. I had to rework, transmision, differential as open as possible, ride height, some minor tweaks on camber and toe and a bit of magic with tyre pressure and a new aero setup from my old records when I started using this car class. Very nice! BT44 is currently my favourite pick of all retro F1s, pure driving without turbo and much downforce. As you wrote it needs to be understood and mastered, then it become pleasure to drive.
