That s what happens to my granite on 4s with the spectrum 4s combo . The 6s combo in the 4s with its intended 12t pinion in the outcast is legit and I think there’s room for more pinion teeth .
I know this an old video but I still find older videos informative. I bought the TLR version this past weekend along with a 21T pinion I've yet to install. I'd be happy if I could just 80 MPH. I've also ordered a set of the Pro-Line Avenger SP3 tires for the street. The stock tires just aren't that great on pavement IMO.

Hey mate, What diff oils are you running? I've dropped a Max 6 combo into mine and she's as fast as my Felony, But the front end keeps lifting on speed passes. I'm running the 107 Rear Felony tyres as these have been the only set ive found that will not blow off the rim running on tarmac. The 107 Proline Toyo Proxes are no good either as the hex eats them out.

I’m going to go with a 32 tooth Pinion and a 42 spur and see if I can hit it if not then I need to find a little bigger tire that won’t blow apart LOL. And I’m running this on the DX5 I have the AVc on but I turn it down because honestly I don’t like it very much.

(AVC set to 20% gain on steering and 0 on throttle tamed the Typhon for me) I'll gear up the Typhon on the Avengers too. So with 3 sets of tires you can run it on a racetrack, bash and send it, and hit 90 mph..Pretty Awesome 👌
Hey what are you doing about temperature because I'm set up with a 46 and a 29 pinion and after 3 or 4 runs my engine and ESC get about 150° and the instructions are the manual says something about 108° and I'm having a hard time with that so what I do is I do two three speed runs shut it off for about 20 minutes and then put it back on cuz I'm worried about eating up the ESC and engine I cut holes in the body I got three fans on the internet and one big 40 fan on the esc
I was only running mine two or three times on a speed run, but mine never really got hot I have now set mine back to dirt running mainly because the electronics couldn’t get me over thehundred mile per hour mark because I was running all stock electronics.
Hey my brother another question about gears since if I were to go one to one with a 25 tooth and a 50 spur what happens when I go over one to one my question is is what's going on when I put my gear ratio over one to one if you can make your video about that I would appreciate it
Are you asking what happens when you increase your spur gear? Or when you increase your pinion gear? Usually if you increase your spur gear over a certain amount it’s better especially for the stock electronics if you decrease the spur gear. That’s why when I went up to a 28 tooth I went down to a 41 to spur
Hey brother how's it going I just recently stretched mines and now I'm trying to do some maintenance on it my question is to you the shims are they necessary or should I check the mesh then put it in and if it needs it put it in only or would it be okay just to slap one on there for for All Good times sake or only if it needs it
Yeah when you put the differential back in Fully before you put the cover on wiggle it from side to side and use a little bit of force and if u feel any movement add a shim
Hay my brother quick my my motor mount screw got stripped and now I am waiting for the GPM motor mount you think GPS motor mount will be as just as good
It's not like the my motor mount malfunction or got bent or anything it's a screw that got stripped so I don't drive my trucks really rough or cars I just off-road and then on road and my driving skills are pretty much on point so when I do smack into something I most most the time I save it from smacking anything hard
@@BarstoneRC yep always something seems to go when it's speed run time love my kraton exb heck I like all my arrma yes they have problems but they all do plus we do things that shouldn't be possible if you do the scale break down ! My kraton I've have hitting 62 with a 150 esc 6s 2050kv spectrum and my vortex is like a new car after I stopped using spectrum receiver just switched out my kraton and vortex felony they perform better for me seems like the spectrum would get glitch out and just start turning left and no not from anything stuck in the servo or steering. Tried doing a recal but nothing seems to work so I just used what I had not doing anything. great video I like you show the bad ugly good great no Hollywood Ed 😎

Great job brother. 90mph is slot faster then before. Yeah get that 100C graphite battery 4000mah. You don't want the battery too big for a weight distribution. Go with 4000 max but get a 100C graphite that should put you up past 90. With your gearing. 👍👊
Tall tires are to blame for your issues here. You want everything as low as possible. Smaller tires help that. GRPs will lower it and give more grip. You can make up for the loss of rollout by gearing up. The Infraction V2 GP5 42/15 diffs will help.
Yeah I was concerned about the height of these things from the beginning but I figured I would give them a try they were definitely a fail. But I’m working on gearing and I think I’ll hit it here pretty quick.
Are u running stock electronics or aftermarket? If it’s stock I’m guessing around 90’s? After doing everything I’ve done to mine I’ve learned a lot and what they can and can’t do lol

It has all stock electronics in it I have 30/42 gearing The center differential has silicone earplugs in it in the front and rear differential have 100 K fluid in it.
When you add more gear to the opinion so if it's a 25 tooth pinion and a 50 spur that's a one-to-one set so I'm asking what happens when you have more opinions than spur
Yeah my goal for this was to just make it go 100 mph with stock electronics and just gearing, I know I can go crazy and add new electronics and stuff but the goal was to do it on stock stuff.
Yeah is the stock electronics and the 25 tooth would not fit with the 50 spur so I had to use the Dremel tool and I probably I had to move about maybe a millimeter worth of metal to make it work and it does work very well but I'm trying to beat my buddy who has an attraction with the stock 6s 2050 KV motor and 185 KV smart ESC and he's running to 50 spur I guess with a 25t and he's not telling me what high speeds he's hitting before we race so I'm trying to figure out how can I give him the best race right now before me meeting up our first race
Noticed people also use those carbon fiber spools for center also you'll get it figured out. Sucks about the wheels but looks like you still had fun which is what counts. Good luck bud

That was the hardest part was getting a set of tires that would hold together and get good drip

You could do one probably

I'm going to try a couple more techniques to get this strip of bolt out and if that don't work then I have to get the Dremel involved

A little adjustment to slipper and add some spring clips to shocks turn down your steering a just turn a little to the side it pulls will help alot .
Yeah the suspension was acting weird I came home to find out the shock rod punched through the valve inside I changed out the valves and New oil.

If the ground is uneven is it gonna still stay stright or is there something wrong whith my car
If the ground is pretty uneven it will push the car off into certain directions if you’re trying to just go straight

I was running at first a hovoo 60c 6000mah and then I was running on the last couple runs a power hobby 100c 6000mah lipo
But yes in this video I was running a 60 C Lipo

You will just continue to increase your top speed with a bigger pinion gear. But your electronics will also continue to run hotter.

I’m going to say depending on what battery your running you should be in the 80’s the 120c Lipo made a big difference also.

if you can make that many passes and still lay ur hand on the motor there is plenty of room to gear up still one fast typhon tho brother

1-to-1 gearing will help you achieve getting to 100mph center spool out of the limitless and a 34 tooth pinion will get you there
I have a 32 and 34 coming
You have to have a spool and 34 tooth spur gear and pinion I build speed run cars I achieved 134mph on 6s
