Jack is hands down my favorite personality currently part of the Reefbuilders channel! I was skeptical when Evan was let go, but I think if anyone reminds of Jake, it’s Jack!
Had no idea that Evan was “let go”. I kinda figured that he was no longer around which is very disappointing. I met him at the last Reefstock before Jake passed. Very cool guy. I wonder what Jake would have to say about that.
@@r_u_squiding_me I’ve been going to that store since the mid-1980s driving up from North Baltimore County. I am a 36 year reefer with only 2 1/2 days without a set up because of getting a new tank and painting the wall behind where the old tank was located. Long streak. I was just at the winter frag swap at That Fish Place a couple of weeks ago.
Great video✨ had a bad experience with black long spine Urchin. He hung around one of my pumps. Actually he was munching on the cord. Only corals made it through was the leathers.
Well when I was part owner with my store in Kansas I had thousands of gallons to care for. Now days I'm down to a simple 75 fresh with my baby fly river turtle McNubbins, a simple 8 gallon mini salt that houses some sexy shrimp and a hi-fin goby with some zoas, and another 75 with a cross river puffer. Travel with work has made tank keeping more on the tough side for me so I've simplified as much as I could stand the past 4 years.
I miss the days when I had real fiji live rock. I used to but 6 boxes at a time and go pick it up at the airport and the rock was wrapped in wet newspaper.

I think it'd be hard not to absorb the vibes being in that studio all day. He's dedicated for sure. ~Remy
I’ve enjoyed pretty much, everybody, guests and regulars that they’ve put up on reef builders since Jake passed.
I do miss listening to Mark though

Sarah,
At 34:54, were you referring to a store called That Fish Place for the mini frag swap?
Yes, great catch!

I've heard the fiber thing for Moorish idols elsewhere too. Probably better not to have terrestrial fiber, but interesting story! #whatsinyourwater

Great discussion!❤
Nice chat! One of my first tanks was a steel frame with slate bottom. Dolomite with UG filter, man the 70’s were kinda cool as a kid keeping fish.
Thank you for the reef therapy! 👍 #WhatsInYourWater #whatsinyourwater
I kept a large frog fish. I had to move silversides in front of it on a zip-tie to get it to eat.
Thank everyone for keeping Reef Therapy and reef Builders going! #whatsinyourtank

@@Threadfin_ I understand that. I went quite awhile without a tank for pretty much the same reason. Only really got back into the hobby a year ago.
