I've spoken to Trev many times and I LOVE his project. And in all honesty, his 360 is pretty much everything I want from a Ferrari. It ticks all the boxes. Trev is a super nice guy and has so much time for people.

Wow! The 360 CS is the first car I would buy if I came into a lot of money, the right amount of power and weight reduction to have fun but still be useable. I have always wanted a manual version though. This takes my idea and perfects it even further. The ultimate 360 without a doubt. Massive respect to Trev for creating this absolute beauty 👌🏻

This car is a confirmation that ownership all about enjoyment, sometimes a bespoke modification can richly add to an excellent ownership rather than holding the car for the next owner. Thanks JayEmm!

Tasteful and mindful modifications of such OEM+ kind is amazing. Sadly people need to grow up to consider suc h.
Most people only see one side of modifications whoch is just going crazy power levels and pointless 0-60 times at damnation of everything else.

Just a little calibration here.. this 360 is as quick as a 458 in a straight line, regardless of it's dct dual clutch. The answer isn't related to gear change, it all in the power to weight. Happy 2024!

Read all of 360 Trevs pieces on the build of this car and copied sone of them into my own 360. Got the 430 carbon brakes and the nicer sounding exhaust system. But mine is different to this car because it's personal to me. Got the challenge carbon door cards still to fit. Rock on.

I must say this beauty might be one of my favourite 360 currently on the road. Even though I'm relatively young and keen to modifications the fact that most of them are actually upgrades from a 430 or a 360 challenge makes it much more likeable and seem to be more OEM. I love it, great review. props to the owner, real car guy.

The perfect Ferrari. Trev is a genius, the right amount of power too... I've seen many of his posts on the forums. One thing I learned from Trev is that for more power with the 360 is by upgrading to somewhat larger injectors.. Just, don't overdo it.

      @FrostedSeagull 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jon,
      I agree with your thoughts.
NEVER liked the 360 Modena or Challenge Stradale.
      The Ferrari 8 Cylinders . . . Post 1988
We all forger the magnificent V8 roar of the 288 GTO as very few owners drive them hard enough.
That's why the gentlemen with cajones who calls himself
"Eat the Rich " really knows how we to drive a Ferrari. His 2 million views of the 288 GTO; hundreds of thousand of views for his F 50 AND his brilliant driving off the Enzo !
      But I digress
      Back to the Ferrari V8's
Alan Clarkson then blew us all away when he deemed the 355 as the best ever !
Then came the Challenge Modena . . . the Challenge Stradale . . . AND obviously the 360 Modena that's been tailor made to sound great !
The enhanced 360 Modena on this video sounds great . . . BUT
      . . , we forgot the 430.
The magnificent powerful V8 roar, especially the F430 Scuderia ( manual shift version) has THE better V8 ngine sound. The Modens and Challenge Stradale sound great with 'clever enhancements' like being run through stereo's and other modern technology like Tubi, OR, Aronofsky exhausts.
I'm old school as I agree with Alan Clarkson's views on the 355 AND
Harry Metcalf claiming that the glorious V8 sound of the F430 Manual Scuderia is V8 engine noise 'perfection'.

What a lovely modified 360! I just sold my manual which was halfway the modifs of this car though I would have loved go all the way, especially throttle response and torque improvement would be awesome. Well they actually complement each other quite nicely.. the Scud and this car are very similar performance wise due to weight differences. They both extract their performance differently. You need to be more "aggressive" and drive it harder but both are just as engaging. Both are the kind of cars I like.. challenging and fun with a pure driver focus and low weight over gimmicks like big hp figures and high weight packed full of tablets etc. Which just blunt the driving purity...

It still uses actually a lot of Stradale parts and the name means "race car for the road" which is how I see this car. Furthermore the Stradale aluminum lightweight rear grille also had cutouts for the badge which would have looked weird. Furthermore, if cs cars get seriously valuable in the future I'll swap over my car parts onto the spare CS chassis I still own the logbook and bare chassis for. The only thing different now is just the vin + upgrades

It turns out it had been dropped on it’s nose when off loaded in Stallingham Grimsby. Volvo repaired it and sold as new in Brixton London

In my country there's a guy who sold his CS and couldn't rebuy it, so he bought a regular Modena F1 and converted it to CS spec. The car was almost a copy of a CS but still less hardcore in feel.
Now this one seems like he went further with the mods. And I honestly don't see the point in building an MT car with creature comforts to a more hardcore spec than even the Stradale. It has a bit of an identity crisis, I'd say.
From a build standpoint though you can't argue the work that went into it. It looks very clean and with the right parts. It's a passion project first and foremost, a unique car. No factory would build this, but that misses the point as it's intended to be very personal. Many people do this with Japanese cars, even Porsche, but rarely Ferrari, even sourcing Michelotto parts.

@@Noise-Bomb the RS has many other changes, it's more powerful, revs higher, weighs less, and usually a manual gearbox is lighter anyway

@@chrisogrady28 And? It's still slower on track so they won't bother. That's a clear statement from Preuninger I rehearsed. You ether want a track weapon to hunt times, then you go for the RS or you don't, then you go for the GT3. No point in arguing that's just the way it is. If you want a GT3RS manuell build it yourself.

It would probably be a garage queen since many of these MT cars are being purchased as investments and you don't want your investment to depreciate.
I feel like the GT3 exists so Porsche can justify themselves by still offering a manual in such package, because at the end of the day it doesn't make sense. It's expensive, you need an allocation to get one, you could have what it offers in a cheaper package (even older 911s) and no amount of retro options from the factory will turn it into a Carrera RS 2.7. Also worth pointing out that even the RS is not that light, its speed comes mainly from offering an almost Cup spec aero in a road 911 and Michelin "special" tires, which is why it can stay at 520 bhp and still fast on the track (same power level of actual GT3 cars).
Yet the GT2 is much quicker still because it uses the 911 chassis to full potential.

I personally dont get the Stradale version of Ferarri's because allot of what you pay for in a Ferrari is the luxury. What I mean is, I feel the Stradale should be more expensive.

Congratulations on missing the point. You don't buy a stradale for luxury it's pretty much a softened up race car.

It's always impressive how ferrari can make a 8 cylinder sound so bad. Like a 4 cylinder with a bad aftermarket muffler.
But thanks for a good channel, with nice content

It has a flat plane crank, which basically makes it more similar to a 4 cylinder in firing order than a cross plane v8.
I would not call that bad though, but if you're expecting v8 rumble then yes you will be disappointed.
Do check out Jay's review of the Alfa Romeo Montreal if you want some lovely italian V8 noises instead!
