"How's it not falling out?" That's um, kind of a feature...
Some amazing technical feats about the movie was that it only had 5 visual effects folks, one of which included one of the directors. Was shot mostly in one location. (The building used for the IRS, which also was used for the living rooms and such.) And was shot in 33 days (I think), the last day being right before the lockdowns started. Insane ingenuity, filmmaking, and performances. Glad to see A24 doing the right thing by artists. Hopefully that last for decades to come.

I saw this in theatres and was amazed. The part when Waymond is talking about being kind, I had a sudden thought that wholly crap, maybe this movie has secretly been about him this whole time. I still keep that thought in tha back of my mind when watching people react to the movie, just in case.
I was fortunate enough to see it in a packed theater for my first viewing. One of the best experiences of my life :)

With a budget of just $14.5 million, Principal photography of just 38 days ( the final shooting was on the eve of covid lockdown ), VFX team of only 6 people, this is only a second movie for film aditor Paul Rogers. VS Marvel/DC with an average budget of $200 million, Principal photography of 100 days, VFX team comprise of dozens of people, and with help of renown film aditor. This tiny movie won 7 Academy awards( Best Picture, Best Actress for Michelle Yeoh, Best Supporting Actor for Ke Huy Quan, Best Supporting Actress for Jamie Lee Curtis, Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, and Best Film Editing for Paul Rogers. Marvel And DC could only wishes, and i say again WISHES!!!!!!! that they can make a multiverse movie as superb as this film is.
Couldn't Agree more. This movie took huge swings, made us laugh, made us cry, and blew our minds. I hope one day studios will learn Big Budget doesn't mean good movie. Hopefully. One of the best movies we've ever seen, ever. So good.

Yeah dude I agree that this work fired on all cylinders. You can tell everyone was putting love and passion into their respective work. Story, on point. Cinematography, on point. Wardrobe, on point. Set designer, on point. It really just feels like everyone involved got to fully pop off making this
Love how everyone freaks out about the paper cuts. It's far from being the worst injury that happens to anyone in this movie but the fact we can all relate to how much that sh!t hurts makes it hilarious.

This movie is one of the greats like 'It's a Wonderful Life', 'A Christmas Story', 'Lawrence of Arabia', 'The Great Escape', The Silence of the Lambs'.
It’s Chekhov’s butt plug. You know it has to be important when you first see it.
This is the only movie I can think of that makes you weep and laugh at the same time.

Not the coordinator but I know the 2 guys she fights with the trophies up their butts are the choreographers who also happen to be brothers. So many fun facts about this movie.

Not a perfect movie, but the best I’ve seen in several years - I love it.
She was hopping in the hotdog hands universe because she had to use one leg to drag the rolling suitcase.
I can’t help but wonder if this movie made any “gym-bro’s” think that they needed to “stop skipping pinky day”.
YES!!! And her foot having a brace on it when the feet were playing the piano since in 'our' Universe it was on her wrist is incredible attention to detail that few ppl notice.

Why do you know a bunch of facts about a movie you supposedly haven’t seen?
Can't speak for them, but I know loads of stuff about movies I've never seen. It's a thing called reading that some people do.
Considering she says "she looks so cool" before she even stepped off of the elevator for the hallway sequence I'm gonna say this isn't a first watch.
