I remember your last 7.3, you definitely had that dialed in. So I'm sure you'll get this one dialed in as well. I've had mine since new in 1999 and it's been a blessing to own. I reprogram mine 20+ years ago without any performance bolt-ons and hauled many heavy loads, heavier than I should but still going strong. I Love them Rams Cumins too, from a old retired truck driver. 👍👍🇺🇲
Great to see the 73 contests coming back. Although I still like the Cummins, I do miss your old truck. As a fellow 73 owner. I really enjoyed your original contact.
It would be interesting to know the condition of the current stock systems. Boost leaks and up pipe leaks can rob a lot of power. Maybe do gauges and a monitor first just to see where it's at before you start modifying. Love the truck. I've driven lots of work trucks including a 2015 6.7 Cummins deleted and tuned. But the 7.3 is still my favorite, currently running a 99 with 160/30's and a kc stage 1.
I did so much work to my 7.3 excursion and I am going to sell it before I get eh chance to tow with it lol at least you got the opportunity to see how it’s started!! Good luck with the new shop can’t wait to see where the channel goes!
Hey Joe! So happy that you’re doing well! Glad to see a 7.3L Powerstroke back on the channel. Loved the new mirrors so much that I put them on my Amazon list. Hopefully in the future, with you building the 7.3 I can get some more mods for my’05 F350 SRW 6.0L. Specifically the fuse bar you made for the first 7.3! Btw, great job on the house! Be well my friend!
Love my ‘00 7.3l 6 speed, but with 519,000 she’s been through it. Just saved her from the crusher and hoping to restore/mildly build her. However I own a 2006 6.0l and I love that truck too. Phenomenal towing/driving powerful truck, but something nostalgic and comforting about a 7.3l will always draw me back to them. All 200hp of em😅
Opinions may vary. I tow a 10K enclosed trailer behind my stock 2001 F250 7.3 (it does have an aftermarket trans and lock up converter) routinely. Have gone as far as 1000 miles (NJ to FLA), is it fast, no, is it safe and reliable, yes. Besides, when I want to go fast I pull the 1200 hp drag car out of the trailer it's towing and have at it. Looking forward to your build of the truck and shed.
Can't wait for the new shop and the truck build!!! When you do the truck build look at a CRX racing double core intercooler. It's huge and should help keep your egts down. Also do the hutch and harpoon mod on the fuel tank.
Looking forward to your build on this great truck. Picked up the same color combo a few years ago. It's an '03 V10 4x4 w/100K miles. Love it. Any thoughts on the stock factory hitch receiver? Looks like a stout unit, but Ford has some very conservative weight carrying numbers. Much appreciated!
Ive never had any reason to doubt the factory receiver. I know there a lot of 7.3 owners out there that have pulled well beyond the "safe" amount with these rigs.
Aghhh, man.. , now I feel bad. I do watch your 7.3 content 100%... end result... huff and puff ... she is SLOW ! Lmao, I won't hate on a 6.0 or 6.7 ? Something newer'ish .. I've got beef with dodge unfortunately

This old girl will shape up slowly but surely no doubt about it.

Yup, that is definitely the plan! 160/30 with the stage 1 sounds like a great combo!
If i didnt have a up pipe leak id be very angry 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looking forward to seeing what you do with your new truck

Great video! Keep them coming. Can’t wait for the modifications or power mods to start. I own two trucks with 7.3’s. Love them!
Excellent vids. Bags in the back help the squat. Did my 02 no regrets. Keep it up bro👍
Bags would be a great addition
Looking 👀 forward to see more videos….

I’m sure the upgraded trans definitely helps some. These are good rigs for sure. Just not powerhouses.

I cant even express how excited I am for the shop build! I'll loo into the CRX. Thanks!

Living on Wheels Joe i love your Ford F250 Lariat Super Duty Extended Cab 4x4 7.3 Powerstroke Truck??????

Have you checked out the Hybrid injectors? FFD has some nice ones.
Oven never used a set but I have been very tempted by them in the past haha.
Me too, I was hoping you would try them first lol @@LivingOnWheels
Haha I hopefully won’t have to swap the injectors too soon.
Size of the front lift?
It’s a zone 2.5 kit with one small leaf removed.
