Watch track guides specific to your car. Also load free setups you can find all over. Trust me.

Hi buddy sorry to bother you with those questions but seems like u are the rarest guy who post "Progress" in YT. I just want to know what's your practice routine, if u have done some setups or just the stock ones with only tyre adjustments. I'm asking cause i've like 50hr straight of gameplay. Sometimes i hit 1.48.5 at monza but still not consistent.

Hey dude, no worries at all! I’m happy to help! What you’re saying is something that I was experiencing too.
The short answer is trial and A LOT of error in almost every aspect of the game.
Firstly, I stuck with one track and one car to learn the fundamentals (still learning by the way). That means setups/ car behavior, racing lines, throttle control, etc. EVERYTHING.
I also looked at different forums and watched countless videos from people who know what they’re doing, in order for me to figure out what all these car adjustments do. (Something that I didn’t realize until later in my progress is that you should look for forums/ videos that talk about car setups AFTER the 1.9 update. A lot has changed with how the tires operate, so if you are using outdated sources you are hurting yourself and lap times).
My advice is for you to do more laps with one car on a specific track and experiment with your setup. Don’t try to make multiple car adjustments all at once. Pick one adjustment each time (ex: toe) and make BIG changes (max negative toe vs neutral toe) to get the feel of what is happening with the car. After you get an understanding, then you can make micro adjustments to fine-tune everything.
The goal should always be to get a car that is able to turn nicely (that usually means more oversteer) but also not make it too unstable. You can’t accelerate if you’re counter steering. It’s a balancing act. Too much Oversteer= Bad. Too much Understeer= Safer Bad.
Consistency will come when all those aspects are put together. It’s a slow process. But DEFINITELY make changes to your setup when you start feeling comfortable with your car. It will 100% help you out.
I hope this helps you man and I will be sure to post a video next week talking about this subject further & in more detail since there is only so much I can write in the comment section😅!

@@Achillefsgiannisis u guys should take a know f1 track that has also other categories driving it!
then take the f1 and drive it till u can drive vs legend difficulty ...if u managend to do that..take a less powerful car and do the same! the adapting of cars helps in memorize track and different corners cause there are not many of it!
of course use abs, tc etc if u have to ..then slowly learn without no shame!
this will give u a sense of fulfillness cause u learned to be fast and enjoy all the differences in motorsport !
      of course its my op!
      hope i could add sum!
      peace!

Step 1 get on iracing. There is no real racing on ACC unless you’re happy just doing the same car with the same 25 people on a very limited schedule.

Yeah, I do have iRacing on my radar, so it wouldn't be a surprise if I switch at some point!

@@Achillefsgiannisis Well I’d be happy to help if you need anything at all man. Iracing is confusing. But yeah as an example I looked on LFM last night and there were 4 people registered for all the ACC races. I wish it wasn’t the case but when a developer doesn’t put solid ranked and enforced penalty multiplayer in their sim it’s a death sentence. Iracing is king then it’s Rfactor 2 now with their new multiplayer update it’s got full races and great systems. Of course on LFM you have AC now but it’s such a mess you have to download 180-200 gigs of mods and content manager etc. Which I have and it’s great. But it’s not easy if you’re new to even grasp what it all is.

You don’t wanna get to focused on ACC if your wanting to take sim racing serious. It’s not a realistic simulation of the braking etc. You can find every pro driver you can name saying iracing is the only one that comes close. Don’t get me wrong I’m always hating iracing. But it’s all we have for now
