Would like to do that . I never heard of that dive what an experience. Just want to say just watch one of your videos about 6 years ago you and your team in Silfra funny to watch especially how your videos from then till now are on a different level. Ie no swearing😂 I be going there in November 🥶I like the mix of your videos you can’t please everyone I know especially with my channel. Looking forward to the next one 👍🫡
@@scubavery thank you! Yes indeed I went from just "vlogging for me" to trying to create a video catalog that people can refer to to find diving adventures that are educational. I hope it's working!
Amazing place to visit - One good thing is that it's all VERY shallow, so even snorkelers can see most of the sites! Definitely worth a day or two, combined with some of the attractions of Naples!
Great episode, I'm thinking you nailed it. Really like the statues at the end. I've been thinking of doing a Mediterranean dive - italy or Greece just to do something different.
Thank you! That's a huge compliment. This dive was amazing. There's not too much other diving in the immediate surrounding area but I still highly recommend it as it is a unique experience!
I feel my spirit regained with a fascinating energy when I saw this video. Do you know about the Underwater discovery of the Hellenic mechanism of Antikythira? I am a Historian and Designer and I always use photographs of archaeological remains in my research. I would love to have such an experience ... please, continue sharing videos like this. Thank you thousand. 🙏🏻❤❤❤
Been in the sand for 2000 or more years but let’s remove it because the sand is destroying it rapidly 😂 no man fucking around with it is actually destroying it 😑
That's the opposite of what's being said in the video. The floors are protected by the sand but eroded by salt water. That's why they're covered with the volcanic sand every day. The status we're protected when they were fully covered but since we're currently in 1000 years of positive bradysysm, they are being exposed out of the sand and would have disappeared completely if not removed.

It's a pleasure. I'm honored to have been able to dive there! 🇮🇹
Stellar episode! That's gotta be one of the best dive sites in Europe. Adding "SCUBA Diving Roman Ruins" to the bucket list for sure!
Thank you! I agree! The historical detail in that spot is just crazy!

They sweep sand over the mosaics to protect them as explained in the video... They are uncovered for a few moments each time and then covered again.
