Alright let's get some things clear here. People are disagreeing on the fact that they have been able to generate attraction over text. Is it possible? Yes it is. However, in general it's not how attraction works. And I don't want guys to think that it's the way to do it. A large majority of the time it doesn't. Plus, is that the game you want to play? Getting her to like you over messages? Your mindset should be to get her in person and create a connection human to human rather than over technology.

I have been making this mistake when getting her number.getting to know her over the phone instead of setting up a meeting. it's true we build a better connection over face to face , build attraction and seduction. than on the phone. No more texting or attraction over the phone using this advice. Now I know the reason to get her number, not to text all day, but initially to set a meeting or a date. You shouldn't constantly text a girl all the time. It can really creep her out. Some guys like to text his crush all the time saying "hey" or "hey how are you" etc.

This is so important. I added a girl on Facebook from my counseling program and she messaged me and we were talking briefly and of course we ended up talking about counselor type of stuff. It was getting to where I used to usually go and end up talking way too long over text/message and not taking action. So I said that I would rather have this good conversation in person and on a date with her and so the plan is that we are going out on Saturday.
I'm gonna tell you why this is wrong.... When all you do is ask a girl "Lets meet I'm gonna take you out on a date," "Starbucks. Friday. 3pm" it makes you look creepy and desperate. Why? Because why are you trying so hard to set up an appointment to meet her after getting her number on the first or second day? You know that girls try to screen guys by chatting with them a few times per day and learning about them more, what they do, things they have in common BEFORE deciding if they want to meet him. So when you get the number, spend a few days chatting with her and getting to know her first, then invite her out on the date.

this is basically what I am sitting in right now, my suggestion is basically to get to know her a little just some of her interests like favorite food, music and birthdate and that's it don't talk too much and then when the date time comes give her specifics so she isn't weary and scared to meet up with you as there are quite a few stalkers and that stuff basically just tell her she can bring a friend with and you will have a friend with and make her feel at ease and use your information that you got from her favorite food and stuff to get her interested in you with the date and her best friend this could help get approval or disapproval very quickly by the way the friend acts around you. hope this helps you out a little bit :) (y)

Tripp, I'll have to disagree with your assumption that attraction can't be generated over text. According to my experience, the seed of attraction can be planted and it can grow stronger over time, to the point that the girl is essentially hooked on me. While I agree that attraction isn't made concrete in the absence of real face-to-face contact, texting for some amount of time can definitely build up her state of attraction which renders the seduction process in real life a lot easier; it practically streamlines it. But this may well be due to my ability to fluidly express myself with vigour, creativity and honesty. In any case, texting creates the conditions of comfort necessary for the acquisition of real attraction; but attraction can still be gradually heightened to a certain point over text.

Ministry of WrongThink Just like IRL, you will only get friendzone if you don't openly state and constantly remind her of your intentions. If all you do is text back and forth about your favorite shows and what not, yeah she will forget or not realize that you are interested in her.
Having a long text combos can work just as well as having long conversations, as long as you are a good listener. Referencing and making call backs to previous conversations tells her you are paying attention and you can even start building up an inside joke or two which does make a real connection.
ok ok, so i should go back to when i was teasing her sexting her, and making her feel all warm and giggly, even though, when i was going that route in the beginning, that's when she showed the most interest, and started asking about "my marriage" and i told her the truth, she said cool she with it, anyways, after that, she started playing had to get WTF lol, cant set up a meet with this girl now. but if i go back to sexting and teasing , that will remind her i guess, but that sounds a little manipuative slash needy slash try hard. ill try it and see, but not today i want to give her today and probably two or three more days

I agree, when you get a girls number you wanna meet up with her. What I do us if I can't meet up with them I try and get on facetime or just a regular call if they don't have iPhone. Then I try and get the conversation to go about us going out somewhere. Doesn't always work for me but I don't ever quit trying so🤷🏾♂️

But if you start talking to her on messanger or something and haven't needed to ask for her number because you are fb friends then what are you meant to say to get her a least somewhat interested. It's not like you just say hey, you wanna catch a movie sometime and get a high success rate?
TIMMY HAGEN thats different, then you must create a little bit of interest from her by just trying to bring out emotion out of her through messaging. That's when you talk a little longer but tell her to text you instead rather quickly assuming she hasn't fled on you yet, then possibly ask if its a good time to call her. You can end up talking on the phone with a girl you just messaged that night and all the sudden able to spark trust and interest to go out on a date. But you must always try to progress it with the ultimate goal being to meet up. Like you said it might be weird meeting up if you never sparked interest, but sparking interest in this case can be done over the phone, at least enough to get her to hang out sometime or on a date

In my experience, no contact until the meet up. The meet up shouldn't be set too far in the future anyway so she won't loose interest. If it's more than 5 days up to a week, I would try send some witty or fun statement or thought, that shows your personality to make her look forward to the date again.
If you have a reason to text, then do it, if not, then don't.

With today's technology, there are so many things you can do.
Whatsapp video calls/messages, audio messages, and photos when you're doing cool shit. In addition to Whatsapp I personally WeChat, Viber, Signal and know of another one that's commonly used in Asian countries. I wish you the best, but if you're serious about this person you're gonna need to get one ass, or another, on a flight.

I'm guessing someone will back me up on this, but you should probably forget about her (at least for the short term), and go about your life in other ways.

FB is an illness, and it's going to drive you insane if you stay on it even if it's for two hours a day. Since I've almost completely stopped using it (less than a half hour a month) I've been able to cultivate more meaningful relationships (with people in general) using direct contact, text to meet up, or Whatsapp/WeChat/Signal to stay in touch with people that aren't necessarily female, but propagate a better lifestyle. Through expanding social circles, you're going to keep improving social interaction and increase the amount of people you're going to meet.
I'd bet both of my middle fingers Tripp would back this up - Just keep meeting people anywhere you can, male or female, if you get along with them and hang out. If I could tell you of how much insane shit that's happened in my life because of my horribly beneficial/unhealthy habit of smoking and drinking, I'd be surprised if you believe half of it *This is not condoning smoking and drinking. My personal method of operation is geared toward professional, and social advancement with women coming in as a tertiary priority*.
Speaking from experience in hospitality, there's going to be more women if you don't get hung up on it regardless of your situation at home/privately; don't get distracted by the one that got away. Figure out how you fucked up or IF you did, correct your previous error, and then be prepared for the next encounter with someone else. Pick up a guitar and learn it, join an indoor rock climbing gym, take lessons in something, or do anything else to get your mind off of the situation. Most importantly, get away from the computer uninstall the FB messenger and app (take a look at the permissions if you want another reason), and disconnect from toxic situations.
