One hand, second hand up! Thanks guys! This version was/is written for a "big band", cause this was a Tour called "Two Tenors" and the other vocalist is an Opera Singer. That is why you see the letters J and W in the back ground. J=Jarkko, W=Waltteri Torikka, amazing singer too. There are "better/different" versions by Jarkko. Best Regards from Finland!

Hi Souls! Thankyou for doing my request of Jarkko's 'Holy Diver'! He is an incredibly gifted musician and singer. He's special :)
Veering off metal for a moment and going back to it's roots in rock, I'm not sure if you've ever heard of John Farnham. He's called The Voice in his home country of Australia. Our John is a legend, and the clip below is from an 80's comcert in Melbourne. John is a national treasure in Australia, and loved just as much 'across the ditch', in New Zealand. His voice is so powerful, just look how far he holds the mic away at times, nad his octave range is through the roof.
He is versatile in that he can sing many styles, tho he is best known for his rock ballads. He is a rock singer thu and thru. He recently underwent extensive surgery for mouth cancer and we in NZ and Oz all wish him well for a safe and successful recovery. Celine Dion admires him greatly, and there's a video of the two of the singing, and she is quite the fangirl! :) John love his fans and interacts with his audience totally. He's a cheeky, fun loving, and very caring person, who has done charity concerts, and tons of good works to benefit communities. We love him to bits :)
The first link, 'Help' is the Beatles song, which John Lennon was quoted as saying after he heard John's version, that the song was supposed to be sung that way - slower; JL loved it. The second link is from the same concert, and is 'You're the Voice. I think most people old enough to know of John know this song instantly, and it's still appropriate today. Enjoy! Totally a "remake", and not necessarily in the worst way.
Just watched the recently released documentary couple of days ago :
"Ronnie James Dio : Dreamers Never Die" (2022) which is well worth to watch and highly recommend the doc. to you all who's into Classic Hard/Heavy Rock.
Thinking late RJD was a recording artist/singer before the Beatles since 1958 and "Holy Diver" album was his 'first born child' as a solo artist gives perspective of his long and windy road from the times as being The lead man in Elf, Rainbow and Black Sabbath.
A story teller, big dreamer, composer, song writer(like T. Holopainen), a vocal beast, a performer, and so on and so on...
Cool choice to react to lady and gentle - men and points to you'll for keeping the "Finnish" theme on here in your channel.

But searching from Utuub with the following form I found a "shorter" version with running time 7mins 3secs ------>

👆🏻 Searching in that form should give result to a decent video/audio quality version. So called 'album' version is little over 10 minutes long, which includes approx. 7 minutes of guitar soloing back and forth between the guitarists in the project.
This is from a concert he did together with Waltteri Torikka who is an opera singer that's why there is a big orchestra, and a band too. Not a big fan of Waltteri. They did two sold out concert's at Hartwall Arena. Both Jarkko and Waltteri took part in a tv show some years ago and became very popular. Great suggestions my friend, I warmly concur 🤘❤🤘 Stormbringer is a great example of J's divine metal vocals. Innuendo, in my opinion, is the best live to showcase his versality. Such a magical performance.
