    Had to buy photoshop CC for a class and really like the program, but do not want to pay monthly or yearly after I graduate as this was just a small hobby for me. Great to know that there are still a lot of tools and uses in Photoshop elements for a one time price. I'll definitely remember to purchase elements under the students section. Great video and thank you!

    In order to have the Warp tool I need PhotoShop right? I lost the CS3 license number in a very old computer and now I'm looking for a perpetual license one. Correct me if I'm wrong, the last perpetual PS license was the PS6 right?
    For me it makes no sence pay for a monthly or yearly licenses if I use the program ocasionally, like once in 7+ months.
    What is your recomendation?

    Great video. Understandable and to-the-point.
    I will be getting Photoshop Elements, for sure. Not having to pay a monthly subscription fee is the determining factor in that decision. For silkscreening t-shirts, I think that that is the exact right tool for me, for photo editing. Coreldraw is what is taking the place of Adobe Illustrator on my computer. Same thing except not as steep a learning curve and can buy it without a monthly subscription. Again, it will work great for my silkscreening business. These tools are more than enough to produce high quality products, imo.

    • @mks-mobile

      It depends on what type of shirts? If you want to be creative and go many steps ahead, try Photoshop. If those are simple t shirts then Elements will do the job. It also depends on the type and number of tools you need.

      @mks-mobile  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know if the program is different. It could be the year different. I'll install the latest Elements and see if those options are available. I recorded the video on the 2021 version.
      Are you sure those videos are showing Photoshop Elements?

    • @IAmR1ch
      @IAmR1ch 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mks-mobile I thought I seen them there and looked up other adobe elements videos and they showed you how to use them. But looking and 2020 version I see, Lasso, Magic Lasso, Polygon Lasso, Quick selection tool, Magic Wand and auto select. I see the clone stamp tool and pattern stamp tool. I also see the dodge tool, the burn tool and the sponge tool. They are in 2021 as well. So now that I have checked I am absolutely sure. I still do not see a magic razor.

    • @ShivamYadav11396
      @ShivamYadav11396 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, make sure you don't go about updating your system, especially if you are a Mac user. If it works with your current system, don't update it further. Also, keep a copy of the installer for CS6 as Adobe might soon stop downloads for their legacy software. They want everyone to shift to subscription even if you already paid 1000$ for your software. Support has already been stopped for these perpetual software.

      But if you quit paying, you can no longer edit your images. With Elements, On1, Affinity Photo, you will able to edit your images until the laptop breaks..oh wait, you can reinstall it on another computer. It is software, not a service. Do not buy subscriptions unless you go along with the richest people in the world like Klaus Schwab who said.. "By 2030 you will own nothing and be happy about it." Adobe already said that, but not outright, they just make their software so you can't own it. What if Microsoft or Apple make you pay a monthly fee to use their operating system. You may think you own your laptop, but if you don't pay the bill, you will own nothing and be happy about it. Only millionaires says stuff like this, but it is coming true right before our eyes.

    I hate the principle of buying something... *for one month* like wtf how did we even allow this? Just don't buy photoshop guys, please. Also students have to pay 20$ (again, per month) that's unaffordable for pretty much 95% of all students I know which is also the reason of why they just install and crack it. I don't blame them at all cause it should cost less than a third of that for a student.

    MY ELEMENTS HAS CHOKED ON MAC! I have PS elements 2020. I can no longer upload TIFF files. Adobe Help has told me the latest IOS version Monterey 12.0.1 is not compatible with PSE. This includes PSE 2022. Specs are only macOS 10.15 or macOS 11. They suggested I downgrade to previous IOS version as they have not got around to testing with Monterey. They may find a fix for 2022 but no promises a fix coming for 2020. They suggested I download PSE 2022 trial - Also didn't work. My parting comment to Adobe help was that I have owned PSE 2020 for only 1 year and already redundant. As apple often upgrade their operating system PSE 2022 will soon be incompatible with the next newer version of IOS. WTF. This is amazingly slack from such a big company. Amazed they have not even bothered to test with the latest IOS AND they have produced such an unstable package with zero support. BE WARNED!

    Warning Adobe Elements 2021 has gone stale & even gone downhill. No updates since 2015 version and the 2021 version easily gets overwhelmed and a "not responding" code comes up(even when running a top computer with 16GB ram). Thus, you have to close the program and loose all your work. I called Adobe and it is impossible to get service. I would recommend a stand alone non Adobe program for entry to intermediate editors such as myself. Also Adobe does not work with AVI format and many other formats, as Adobe has sat on their heels. Cheers,

    • @MrMoonpie001
      @MrMoonpie001 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also Microsoft owns the AVI format and really wants you to use it with their software like Windows movie maker (they snuck this one in on us, trying to be like Apple) this is why you need download a format changer, that is really your only play in this game, the freeware out there for photo and video is great!!!! Programs like DaVinci Resolve are used at the Pro level all the time.
