I can’t remember the last time we had a QB this exciting going into his first season with the program. I’m ready for fall Saturdays at the Woodshed to see this kid deal. Go Green!
The B1G may be hoping that MSU vs Oregon becomes a new B1G rivalry game with the left coast additions. Makes sense as long as Coach Smith and this staff is around.
Great interview and Aiden seems like a good kid. That said, I never understood how Chiles fits into what Smith does best: a pro style offense. And as suspected, Aiden pretty much confirms that Smith torpedoed the Beavers season last year. I personally wouldn't follow a guy like that but we'll see how it goes.
Definitely the blocking! I know you can be thin and wiry AND tough as nails, but I'd rather not test that. Give the kid the time and space to do his thing without getting beaten to a pulp.
He left because commitments aren't commitments any more. The only thing that matters now is bags of money. He got handed a bag of money, and got the added bonus of playing for the coach that recruited him. College has become even more cut throat and shady than the NFL. At least the NFL has contracts to ensure that the players they invest in will remain where they are for a time and the franchise can actually benefit from their investment.
Do you think JS leaves if it wasnt for the Beavers not having a conference home and the uncertainty of paying his assistants? So AC doesn't leave either. He turned down ND and others out of high school for OSU. He's loyal
It won't go well for him. The Smith/Lingren system isn't viable in CFB and requires more than college level QBs can deliver. Game one is in the books, everyone saw how bad Chiles and MSU looked on offense. The first play was an interception. No sympathy for Chiles whatsoever when this blows up in his face. He's a low character guy. Says one thing, and then does another. No principles.
One question about Aidan Chiles. WHATS NOT TO LIKE? This is an endearing young man. Right down to his Nike football cleats!! In all fairness, who can blame him for transferring in the face of quarterbacking a program that was in lame duck status? Oregon State was in a conference that no longer exists. Jonathan Smith was the head coach of a program without a true conference affiliation. All Homerism aside, what was he to do? Smith left his alma mater, that he resurrected by the way, for greener pastures with the Green and White. Any ambitious coach that seeks the highest competitive advantage would do the same. There is nothing about Aidan Chiles and Jonathan Smith which doesn't radiate class and humility. Which is much more than can be said for his predecessor.
so OSU getting stranded in the mountain west for now and the uncertainty of paying coaches who had been with him causes JS to leave? And of court Aiden leaves with him
@UnafraidShow I'm from Oregon, doesn't get nearly as cold, or nearly as much snow, as Michigan. 40° is considered a cold weather game. Also, playing for about 20% of the snaps one year isn't really enough to get acclimated even if Oregon was as cold as Michigan. He's a Californian, he's never faced weather like he's going to this year.
This ain’t the same Sparty team as last year. They didn’t have a QB. Terrible defense. No coach 😂 - nothing! Watching Michigan tear them up was like watching someone batter a blind kid in a wheelchair. But it ain’t last year no more or the year before that. They cut the dead weight from the roster after firing that fraudulent coaching staff. New staff. I hope they are competitive. They can’t be worse than last year.
He went to MSU bc the state of MSU football is a disaster esp at QB so he is guaranteed to start. I'm a Wolverine fan but I hope Coach Smitty can bring some class and respect to state. Would love to see a respectful hard hitting rivalry not lucky bounce wins, and then an MSU that can take it the distance into the playoffs and win, not fold up in embarrassing fashion as Dantonio did vs Bama. We shall see... Chiles would be a start
@UnafraidShow I take it youve never played at a D1 or the next level. You never put down other programs nor other coaches in any negative way it will carry how other nfl scouts will look at him for future references
I can't wait to see this young man suit up for Sparty. He's gonna be special.
He definitely is
#WinOverMichigan = Legend
Great interview. Well prepared and great questions. After listening to Aiden,
I’m already proud of him now being a Spartan.
Let's go!! Young Cali King will revive that program!! ✊🏿
Fasho!
Great interview!
Thanks Please share!
Very good interview. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it! Please share!

right. MSU should be excited
It sad for me because I am a Beaver fan. But best to him a Michigan State.
thats the spirit. Unfortunately with conference realignment, they put Jonathan Smith in a no win sitution
Thank you for 50% of you roster 😂😂
Go Green! So excited to watch Aidan play
Thanks for watching. Please share
Smith told his players he was leaving the day before the Oregon game. Linebacker Makiya Tongue confirmed this in his vlog.
So are you saying they said 2 separate things?
@@UnafraidShowthey were told the day before, that’s why Oregon was trolling on their scoreboard before the Civil War.
Im a Michigan fan I'm still hoping this kid plays well against everyone else
Hes gonna give yall a fit to if they can protect him. Good stuff on that Natty last year. We'll see yall soon GOGREEN!!!
@@devontaycarter5234he played well they had a chance to win, they have young talent it'll be fun to watch them grow
Can't wait to see #2 lead our Spartans On the field. GO GREEN!
me either. rooting for him
We all know why he left. . Money, and loyalty to a Snake.
Amen
Agreed
100%. and that snake won't be able to hide in East Lansing like it did in Corvallis.
Do you think this team will be like 2021 with a massive surprise just like the K9 year?
Yes but it’s relative. Much better but 6-7 wins but sustainable and building for 9 wins the next season
Impressive guy, he’s special
Very. Thanks for watching. Please share.

Smith wont be leaving any time soon as long as things are going well with the administration
welcome to MSU bud! we crazy here! get ready!
He is ready fasho

Great kid. Smith had to run what fit DJU the best and his roster. I would imagine we see more of a power spread at MSU
This guy was as good as DJU as a true freshman. He's NFL ready
Hes a game changer. The O is going to be a lot better. Just block for the kid and wrs look that mug in.
Definitely the blocking! I know you can be thin and wiry AND tough as nails, but I'd rather not test that. Give the kid the time and space to do his thing without getting beaten to a pulp.
Keep him upright
If he liked playing Colorado because they hated each other, he is going to LOVE the Michigan game! I hope he gets the rivalry from day one.
that means hes built for the big stage

as a beavers fan... why must everything crumble around me:(
that stinks. sorry to hear it. there's room on the Ducks bandwagon
The city of downey California has 2 bad ass qb. 1 in childs and 2 in nico at Tennessee.... lets gooo
I love watching them

Yeah, Tuck turned out to be a serious disappointment. He seemed so good at the start.
amazing kid with a great work ethic and a really good leader too!
He just put on his chicken suit and followed Smith in abandoning Or St
so OSU getting stranded in the mountain west for now and the uncertainty of paying coaches who had been with him causes JS to leave? And of court Aiden leaves with him
Lets see how well he handles cold weather before acting like he's some savior.
He played at Oregon State. He’s been in cold weather…0

He should help you win 4 games this year.
If he brings wins and hope, thats better than what's been there the last 1.5 yrs

This one hurts being a Oregon State fan, I blame Smith. I’d love to see Chiles do good but I ain’t rooting for no lying back stabbed like Smith
I agree, sad to see him leave Corvallis. I loved seeing him come in every game for a couple series for DJ U.
MSU went through this a long time ago with Saban. Deal with it.

You brought receipts. Chiles will be a monster
Cause JS left lol
Wassup with dude 👀 😂
what you mean?
@@UnafraidShow Chiles eyes going different directions. lol
I love this kid but he still has to learn how to interview properly
he was really good. what do you mean?
@UnafraidShow I take it youve never played at a D1 or the next level. You never put down other programs nor other coaches in any negative way it will carry how other nfl scouts will look at him for future references
I selfishly wish he was redshirted so we could have him for 4 years
Oregon st wasn’t worth his talent. I said he’d leave
he wouldnt have left if Jonathan Smith stays
MSU deserves is talent much less than OSU. MSU is a joke. Fuck Smith too.
Given the resources they have to work with Oregon St. is a superior program than than Mich. St.
The fake hype and sunshine blowing for this kid is hilarious
`what is there not to like?
