Even this game can be fun

The Draugr Stealth Bomber needs flares, or for the jammer to stop ALL lock-ons, even from infantry stingers or jet radar missiles. It's stealth mode should work exactly like the stealth helicopter's.
It doesnt exactly need flares, increase the time it takes to lock on to the thing by two or three times and it will be playable without the flares, radar jammer would work fine then
The Draugr is squishy. At first, you have pick soft targets or go after weakened choppers and tanks. The unlock requirements imho are a bit much for a bomber that starts with a bomb that doesn't exactly kill
It seem like that the camouflage is meant to compensate for it, and I can kinda see it( us it on you approach, of go nap of the earth after your bombing run)

Yeah it made me really sad when I unlocked it and couldn’t even really bomb with it, and I feel forced to cheat and play against ai to unlock or a 1000% damage server with how many kills you need to unlock the stuff
Would love your next 2042 video (or like just at some point) to be sort of a port-mortem on the game overall. Where you felt it missed the mark and when, where you think EA/DICE made smart decisions, things they should carry from 2042 into the next game and what they should abandon, etc. Not just to dump on the game but to collect almost three years worth of thoughts into something concise for the devs to chew on. Just a thought, always appreciate your takes.

I do like control as a conquest alternative, breakthrough and rush are great but they’re more competitive focused and a very different experience, think control fills a gap, hope they keep it around
i think this is worse fps of all time. lol. So they attract some new players while 99.9 percent of og fans quit. This is by far the worst fps ever made.
To all of you. We have different taste in what makes gameplay fun... You want more realism go and play Hll of squad lol or other games BF is never meant to be like hardcore shooter. Cod is more arcade then bf. But ten with a sbmm in cod the gameplay sucks imo. I like bf2042 because you don't need to think. But hll or. Squad is kinda a different kind of gameplay
blowing out the ceiling would actually be a great idea, even if the enemy did not die but was damaged from falling down though the floor, or a fire fight now possible between that roof and the inside of the building.
I wish the point system for vehicles was in all game modes. Definitely the way to go in the next battlefield. Still drives me nuts in bf4 when people just spam certain vehicles in the spawn screen
@ChillingDogYT honestly I couldn't tell you. Haven't really touched 2042 I a while. But I'd imagine it would be something like the heroes in battlefront 2. Earn battle points by playing the match. Get enough to get a vehicle (different points depending on the vehicle). Use vehicle if available (and don't earn battle points while using the vehicle so you can't just constantly keep hogging them). I assume it's something like that

I'd prefer to be able to grab a vehicle immediately when I see my team is in trouble, rather than trying to play against a stacked enemy team as infantry before I can get a vehicle. Being able to grab a vehicle quickly and setting the tone of the game for your team by eliminating high value targets is great stuff.

This is what DICE did on SW Battlefront 2. 'Heroes' and vics are locked behind points. Until you have enough points, you are a regular joe with the class system. As far as I remember, you cant bail out of your vics.

Control Unlocked mode is awesome, lets u play all guns n vechicle attachments/upgrades unlocked, lets u try out everything, which made me realize that theres actually lots of cool/fun stuff in this game, good thing i didnt hop on the hate train, this mode is only available for a limited time so i recommend checking it out before it's not around anymore
The jet part in the back of the Drone looks like it would be able to angle down so it can hover which would actually make it useful for me since for some reason in 2042 I cannot fly vehicles for the life of me by the time i line up a target im too slow to pull out of the dive and crash. Even after going to max height to do it.
@@darkdraco02 sorry man, my only other recommendation would be to try diving at a less steep angle, a lot of TH-camrs will show them diving at 90° straight down and still pull out of it but they make it look too easy, I would start off trying to dive at a 30° to 45° angle and once you get that down increase to about 60°, and then finally try the 90°, good luck man I hope this helps and you get it figured out
The Draugr is a drone technically, which is why you can't bail out of it, because you're not really "in" it. Obviously for consistency you still get a kill (I think) when you destroy one, and it still counts as a death.

because they announced the end of the life cycle for this game and never really achieved to have a new hype. Their life service is just drip feeding the bare minimum of content over months. And of course there are way better alternatives even if you want something similar to battlefield.
The missed potential of 2042 cannot be understated and serves as a monument to DICE's breathtaking management issues. If EA wants this franchise to exist 5 years from now, they should be looking for another developer.

there are red markers around center of the screen that shows the direction of incoming damage (helps if it's outside of your field of view) and if you are looking in general direction of enemy and they are shooting - you can see the bullet traces most of the time to figure out where it is coming from. plus, often you HEAR where enemy is coming from if they are nearby - that's why you need good headphones and setting in game for audio like "3d headphones" or smth (check description, should be something like "helps to better position sound sources"

Really hoping for naval combat to come back in the next battlefield game. It’s been missing like crazy since bf1 and even then it wasn’t that spectacular. Imagine being able to control entire destroyers and submarines in a battlefield game that just sounds so cool.

You need to drop the heavy bomb on the vehicle from far away, switch to the machine gun and hit it with the machine gun, that locks the bomb on the vehicle. I know its weird but that's how it works.
If flares aren't added, it needs to have the extended lock on from bf4 intrinsically and maybe a shorter max distance lock, something. Because right now, you may as well just run a jet with anti tank and explosive guns.
When he got the air-to-air kill it looked like the enemy flared. Someone else said the progression tree for it was weird, so it could be that flares are a later unlock for it. Seems like a weird choice otherwise since it can't really loiter low or behind cover
Unfortunately you are still a free kill for stingers or lock ons with soflam. The jammer needs to counter any form of lock on, otherwise it just depends on the enemies when the fun stops
I like it, but the unlock reqs are nuts. You basically need to grind air superiority or prepare to get insta-killed by AA missiles every other spawn. Also, the default HE guns are better for dogfighting if you can lead them.
Idk, the drauger is cool but I just wish they added some boats or something to the game. There is no naval aspect which is kind of sad

Agreed. Flying low to avoid lock-ons but high enough to not crash til you're outta range is a recipe for disaster lol

The problem with 2042 for me is the gunplay. It's way too easy to just beam someone with an smg from 200m away.
It's much easier to attract players when there are less mechanics, but focused on more fun

The draugr is cool, but, it's the fact you have to grind harder for all the stuff worse than a jet, and it's made of paper.

Unfortunately you are still a free kill for stingers or lock ons with soflam. The jammer needs to counter any form of lock on, otherwise it just depends on the enemies when the fun stops
that comeback was clutch af!
I like it, but the unlock reqs are nuts. You basically need to grind air superiority or prepare to get insta-killed by AA missiles every other spawn. Also, the default HE guns are better for dogfighting if you can lead them.
control has a similar points system to bf2 (2017) I feel like it would a good game mode for future battlefield games
did this game get a graphics update?, cause its looking crispier that i remember when i first played it....
