    First empty any remaining paint in the spray container back into the original paint pot. Then fill the sprayer with water if you have been using water-based paints and spray this through until it is clear. If you have been using solvent-based paint after returning the paint to its original container wipe around the inside of the spray container with an old rag or paper towel to remove most of the paint. Spray through with the recommended cleaner for the paint you have used. Spraying into an old bucket allows you to keep the cleaner to use again.
    Dismantle the gun which is easy as no special tools are required. Clean the components using a bowl of hot soapy water or solvent. Thoroughly dry the components and reassemble the gun. Finally lubricate the O Ring with the supplied grease. Your electric Fence and Decking sprayer is now ready to store away until the next time you need to spray painting fences, sheds, decking and garden furniture.

    Hi Craig, thanks for all your handy vids. I have purchased a w350 for small furniture spraying. This takes several coats of paint with drying times (I am mostly going to be using chalk paint) - can I leave the paint in the sprayer whilst I wait for the first and second coasts to dry?

    • @MrandMrsDIY
      @MrandMrsDIY  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      hi Anna, great I hope your enjoying using it, We use Chalk paint all the time and it works very well when diluted a fraction just about 10% water, yes your can leave the paint in the unit while it drys, most @Frenchipaints dry after an hour when sprayed but its best to leave it for two hours before re coating, with the application being so quick and easy your best doing 3 coats.

      a scouring pad or a wire wool brush would get old paint off, rinse thoroughly with warm water!

    • @MrandMrsDIY

      Most fo the the time when it splatters its just your paint to thick, dilute it down by 10% then try it on a piece of cardboard, normally resolves strait away

    Or……. Let’s be real & quit playing around like we’ve never painted a huge job or put in a full day and set this thing down without Rinsing and scrubbing it as clean as it was brand new!!! Paint even dries on/in this thing while I’m painting because there is a lot of high volume air blowing around the nozzle.
    So for the love of something……. Show us how to clean the “real world” sprayer!!!!!! The dirty one with 3 colors hardened in all the crevices.

    • @MrandMrsDIY

      All paint sprayers like brushers and roller will be drying as your using them, as always when finished any projects all tools should be cleaned well, most fo the parts on your paint sprayer will be machine finished so there very smooth and should clean up well, if you have a lot of mist or over spray on your accessaries when finished painting you can alway soak them in water before cleaning them with will help speeded thing up
