I'm watching you guys from Europe .. Stay blessed, very nice to see you guys can bring back to running life such lovely old classics that could be lost forever eaten by time / rust neglected some-where.. My son and i really like classic cars specially since we don't see many of them today on road most are in private collections, museums or left in junkyards or barns waiting for someone to rescue them.. We would definitely watch a part 2 of washing & polishing this slick "Mercury Commuter" wagon..
Keep doing good stuff nice interesting content, have faith, be strong and long live all of you people.. tank you !

@@edwardalamo2507 The dead line for ice is starting from 2030 according to UE council but do you really think people will not drive they'r old ice cars ? so the banning is for factories to not produce them anymore, but remember this : as long as people will pay taxes they can drive whatever they have no matter what.. in Europe there is a taxation system according to the level of pollution of each car mentioned after each MoT inspection but what if after the 2030 someone want to drive thru Europe in vacancy ? as long as it will pay a tax-fee according to the level of pollution of it's car everything is ok.. only when they will not pay is a violation and police will add another ticket to the pollution tax.. anyway until then Hybrid cars are still allowed and cars running with alternative bio-fuel (ICE +LPG).. But anyway.. try bann those massive oil-ships burning smokers polluting the oceans waters by spilling oil into sea killing whales, penguins, pelicans & other sea creatures, try bann the old gas-guzzler trucks and tires factories across Europe that are polluting by removing the filters in the weekends to produce more tires, ohh and let's not forget the mining companies which are the worst polluters ok ? those are much bigger concern than cars..

I love wagons. Not because everyone one else likes them. We always had wagons in our family. My dad had a 56 Plymouth wagon when he and my mom built our house. We've had a 65 Pontiac Catalina Safari, 70 Ford Ranch Wagon, 68 Chevelle Concours Wagon , 80 Dodge Monaco Wagon and an 83 Chrysler New Yorker Wagon. So yeah, I love wagons. Good luck and take care of that RARE piece.

My uncle had one in the 70's, and they traveled all over the country in it, it was super comfortable for 4 people. It just floated down the road, row down the back winda, open the front wing window. instant air con.

My dad almost gave me his 1977 Dodge royal Monaco station wagon . It can carry 8 people and if i took it to school, all my friends wants a ride in it. I called it the magic school bus. Great memories. This car the way the split rumble seat in the back is set up, its a rare feature with 2 seats instead of 1 seat.

My Papaw and Mamaw had a 1962 Mercury 2 door, with a 292 V-8 in it as their daily driver in the mid-late 80's. His other ride at that time was a 1969 Ford van short wheel base with an inline 6 and 3 on the tree. I learned to drive a column shift in that van. I was so little that i had to literally stand on the non power brake pedal to make it stop. Lol. I was just only 4 or 5 years old but remember riding 30 miles each way to town and back for them to get groceries in that Mercury. I would stretch out in that long, light blue, vinyl back seat and sleep on the way home. I can still smell the inside of that car, and that vinyl seat i was layin down on. Great memories!

What a wonderful find. I love the station wagon. I wish they still made them. I have fond memories of riding in the back and playing games with my brother while traveling in the family wagon.
The fold-down seats in the back were part of a trim-level version. Which later on became called a 9-passenger. Our wagon wasn't a 9-passenger. So we had a big "playpen" back there to horse around and play. Such great fun looking out the back window waving at the drivers following us on the interstate.

I had a 1967 Mustang with 390 engine, and disc brakes, necessitating the brake booster. Ended up buying a universal spark plug socket, and a long extension. Definitely was tight! Those FE block engines are still fairly plentiful, as are parts. My own favorite!

How does your garage camera have such a rich picture, I've never seen a camera set up that looks like a Norman Rockwell photo, what set up are you using for the wide shot in the garage??

It's funny to think that I was 7 years old in 1960, so that old commercial you ran sure brought back a lot of memories.

When I was a kid I had a 1969 Pontiac Bonneville that I loved. It was a runner for a wagon. I like to see some of the wagons brought back. Thanks Earl

I have a 1970 Dodge Monaco wagon I found with a 383 Magnum super rare six passenger and it's a beast. Wagons are cool from the Woody's all the way up to the vinyls. And if you think about it nothing rides as nice as those old cars especially the Chryslers with quiet ride. My friend had a 77 LTD wagon Brown mint condition grandmother's old car and we went everywhere and loved it and it was a big block two barrel and the gas mileage wasn't bad.

We had a 68 Ford Country Sedan with the 390, the dual function tailgate and those dual facing rear seats. My younger sister and I road back there when we went on family trips. Older sisters got the middle seat. Summer time was rough because the a/c would not reach that far without freezing my mama to death in the front seat. Loved that car. Parents had it from 68 to about 1993.

This is definitely going to take off big time I'm lucky enough to suffer doing the same things myself but to be able to watch it in my warm house not covered in junk and get the ohhh yaaaa shes a runner feeling is great. Definitely do a follow up of a good drive down the road tho. Added edit noooo air bags get her mechanically sound and let her eat up the road just as she is

While I was married we only had one station wagon. My kids loved it. They would go from the back bench seats to the front. Their own play ground.

We had one of those when I was in high school. My sister was able to get it up on two wheels while she made a left turn across 5 lanes of traffic. All I remember is sliding from the passenger side to the driver's side of the back seat and my mom yelling " Mistyyyyy !"

First time I landed on this channel and happy I did. Something about this station wagon really has my interest, I do have a vague memory of going to the camp in a Brown Chevrolet wagon? 5 kids and parents and someone always brought a friend, fun times I'd go back and relive that life forever.

My favorite, and I think the most sought after station wagon from what I gather is the 1970-71 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser. I like the fond memories of big family haulers from the 50s to the 80s...

You mentioned Uncle Frankie, just as I was thinking about him and how I cried with you when you got the awful news. I hadn’t cried over a stranger since I cried over Thurman Munson of the Yankees when I was a kid. Uncle Frank hurt most because he didn’t get to see his car, up and running.

I would keep it! Power nation recently worked on a 390 and turned out the block was cracked but I would love to squeeze more power of that 390 with after market heads, intake, exhaust, also the fuel delivery system ! The episode I'm referring to they put a twin four barrel intake and used fuel injection! Would be nice
