@@Tohho You could argue the Leo is a better actor (although I'm not a fan of his style), but no one does blockbusters like Tom. I doubt you'll ever see Leo BASE jumping off a motorcycle off a cliff. And you know that was actually Tom Cruise doing it.
At this point, Tom Cruise and Christopher Nolan need to do a movie together. Two stalwarts of the no-CGI, real-stunts ideology coming together can only yield good things
That would definitely be an awesome and interesting movie to go see because they both try to do their movies practically as much as possible. Everything with Cruz including the stance that he does, is like straight realistic, grit, everything based on the realistic idea of what an agent himself has to go through, so if there is ever CGI in the Mission impossible movies which I’ve seen every one of them, it’s probably very little or not used much at all, and Christopher Nolan likes the idea of how CGI can emphasize things a little bit, but he has a direct or likes to go as practical as he can before having to do any CGI, so both people having that same idea, that would be quite an interesting movie I actually wouldn’t mind seeing. A movie between the both of them being done where I get to enjoy as much the reality and practicality/realism that can be achieved in a movie over CGI. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big movie buff and CGI does in my opinion add to a level of entertainment, but it puts me more on the edge of my seat if I was to see a movie with gritty realism placed because of practicality over a hard to believe CGI effect.
Tom Cruise never disappoints the audience. The man is a true daredevil, a perfectionist, and genius when it comes to his movie stunts and production. He risks his life for the audience. The Mission Impossible movie series is probably one of the greatest series in action movie history. He is a legend. Never forget that.
You speak very highly of Tom Cruise, and fair enough too. Reading these comments I can't help but wonder what happened to the endless negativity he had to endure due to his 'beliefs' and with many simply saying he was mad. No such comments these days. People are fickle. I wonder if you were perhaps one who was so critical a few years back or did you always hold him in such high esteem, as I myself always have regardless.
@@sifunmon ???i don’t understand, top gun maverick was fine but it wasn’t anything outstanding and hollywood seems to be largely the same as it always has
So true with the exception of Mission: Impossible 3. I thought it was the worst movie in the franchise although the Chesapeake Bridge Battle scene may have been the greatest movie scene ever.
The Mission Impossible franchise has aged like fine wine. I can't wait to see all of the crazy stunts Tom Cruise does in this film. The scenery looks absolutely beautiful.
This trailer has so many callbacks to the 1st movie. The magic trick. The old boss. A train fight. I feel like they ready to bring it all together with this one
okay but this trailer is absolute gold. i could write an essay about it. the fact that it doesn't rely on any quick cuts with loud noises, no sound for the clips and just the slowly rising theme, to the explosive title card at the end. that's how you get people excited about a movie
You can tell that by the time they released this trailer, little to no post production work had been made. And yet it already looks absolutely terrific. Can't imagine what the actual movie looks like.
After watching Top Gun, Top Gun Maverick, Edge of Tomorrow, Mission Impossible 1-6 i realized how much i love seeing Tom Cruise in action with less CGI with more emphasis on practical stunts Its worth noting that he still managed to stay an A list actor since the 80s I still love Marvel and DC movies but Tom's action movies will always be my go to action movies EDIT: WOW guys this is my most liked comment Thank U! Also i forget to mention Jack Reacher 1-2 😆
Did you try to watch his Last Samurai movie too? Edge of Tomorrow(the source material was a Japanese comics) and Last Samurai, are the movies that I remember that are Japan related
I simply cannot get enough of this franchise. Counting down the days until its arrival. Since Ghost Protocol, the series has become absolutely incredible! Can't go without mentioning how amazing the original 90s movie was and how underwhelming 2 & 3 were, but bring on Dead Reckoning!
I agree with everything u said, except I thought the third film was great- at the very least the late and great Phillip Seymour Hoffman gave a great and chilling performance as the villain in that one
@Alexander Forsythe He did have a great performance to be fair. It certainly wasn't a typical Mission Impossible bad guy, but aspects of the film underwhelmed me quite a bit. I'd rewatch it, but I've seen the second movie enough times to know that I just don't care for it.
Part III is my favorite of the series (Hoffman was an excellent villain) but II was awful. John Woo had no business being handed a Mission Impossible movie. Strangely, it seems all the odd-numbered MIs are superior to the even-numbered ones.
@@dimitribotone9722 You realize that it's all opinion and not objective fact yes? Trolls argue that others' opinions are wrong. Grownups recognize that not everyone has the same preferences.

I do think he is good for the industry now a days but it is sad he only bring boring movies. Because he work in mission impossible films. I just think they are really boring
Kudos to Lorne Balfe for one of the best arrangements of the MI theme for a trailer. The build up and chord progressions have a sense of urgency, hope and bad-assery. Can’t wait for the whole musical score!
Yeah. It can't be a money thing. At this point in his career, he's doing these movies purely because he wants to and loves doing it. Given that he filmed the next two back to back I wonder if part two will be his swan song?
It’s clear from the trailer that M:I 7 and 8 are a love letter to the whole series. The train sequence is from 1st film. The long running shot is from 3rd film. The desert is from 4th film. This is the finale to a series that really figured out what audiences want: insane action sequences done practically
Watched it yesterday, highly recommended! With a runtime of close to 3 hours there was no boring minute in it. Action, acting, directing, pacing and cinematography are on point. 9.5/10
Given the state of the world, we are damn lucky movies like this are still even being made so we can sit in a theater and just escape for 2 hours lol. Cruise looks great in this and I am looking forward to checking it out.
Just saw the movie in IMAX. Yet I still want to come back to watch this trailer again. This trailer is incredible and is a masterpiece. I watch a lot of trailers and I'd say this is one of the best trailers in decades. Whoever made this one deserve a big pay raise and/or promotion.
This is so masterfully edited. Aside from the first few shots, there are no fade outs. And none of those generic bassy drums to hide cuts. And the absence of a sound track for most of it was so refreshing. We need more trailers like this.
To be fair. It has the Mission Impossible them to keep bringing me back to watch it. It's not fair on other trailers. But its great, it doesn't give the story away. I hope I can keep away from new trailers, but I doubt that will happen. Can't wait for this film though.
One of the greatest actors of all times and put 110% into his movies and stunts. The guy is a legend no matter what people think. Totally psyched for this movie and part eight when it comes out a year after that

True! I didn’t notice CGI (even tho there had to be) it moved so fast I was hold the sides of my bed…and that train! All of it! If 2 minutes can draw out that much feeling, just think about two hours, in Part 1. Can anybody wait til 2023? Asking for a friend 🤩
I just shed 2 tears. The first because of how perfect this trailer was. The second because of the painful fact that we have to wait over an entire year to watch this movie.
This is what you called a masterpiece trailer Without ruining the story or Without spoiling the suspense A simple and a thrilling trailer from zeroth second to the ending one.....
Thats probably because there really isn't anything to spoil everthing that happens in these movies is just an excuse to show crazy action scenes and stunts.
Don't get me wrong the action and realism that Tom's dedicated to makes these movies and I cannot wait to see it, but the story that Christopher Macquarie has been writing ever since rogue nation has me on the edge of my seat. Especially since it's part one!

The thing I love about the mission impossible movies is that they do crazy stuff without going over board to where your suspension of disbelief is completely gone. Fast and Furious will have the most ridiculous shit that makes you feel like you’re watching a cartoon. These movies still keep an element of realism and not to mention that Tom cruise at age 60 will do any stunt he can no matter how nuts it is
F&F is an action comedy. Part of the enjoyment is how ludicrous it is. The other good thing about F&F is they also create the stunts practically. It may be superimposed over a different setting (jumping between skyscrapers) but they use real cars. Like when they parachuted them and sent dozens off of a parking deck to the streets below. At this point, Tom Cruise and Christopher Nolan need to do a movie together. Two stalwarts of the no-CGI, real-stunts ideology coming together can only yield good things
This would be something crazy indeed!
I was TOTALLY thinking that when I saw Top Gun: Maverick.
Wow you're so right. This trailer is kickass.
The guy in the mask definitely gave me some Nolan vibes, TENET in particular 🤔🍿
Tom Cruise never disappoints the audience. The man is a true daredevil, a perfectionist, and genius when it comes to his movie stunts and production. He risks his life for the audience.

40 years of movie career and still at top performance, I respect that!
At his age maintaining the charm and physique and the crazy high energy levels, salute to Tom!!
Wow 40 years!!
Jeez, What do you mean, he plays the same part/character over & over, & over again, he is just playing Tom Cruise, there is NO acting involved ANYWHERE ! !.
I can just feel this movie is gonna be near perfect just by watching the trailer
*Expect disappointment so that you shall never be disappointed*

Yes, I have been waiting a long time for the conclusion of the Eyes Wide Shut/Mission Impossible series. Now we get to see how Dr. Harford disentangles himself from the secret society orgies that forced him to change his name to Ethan Hunt.
the last one was a masterpiece
If that's how you fee, l i recommend a visit to the local ophthalmologist
I just keep coming back to this trailer.
The thing I love about the mission impossible movies is that they do crazy stuff without going over board to where your suspension of disbelief is completely gone. Fast and Furious will have the most ridiculous shit that makes you feel like you’re watching a cartoon. These movies still keep an element of realism and not to mention that Tom cruise at age 60 will do any stunt he can no matter how nuts it is
He isn't nuts. He's crazy. Everyone else it nuts.
MI movies are home runs every time.
@@calvin2032 the problem is that the F&F story takes itself so seriously yet all you watch is nonsense

You mean like having a fistfight on a cliff after crashing after a helicopter dogfight, or swimming through some unnecessarily complex turbine dam thing/ data archive?
Fast and the Furious could never. I can't wait to see this. Mission Impossible has been the greatest action franchise for nearly two decades strong and tops itself with each film. Tom Cruise is a legend.
Why compare it to the Fast Saga?
@@reymenders5437 it has been renamed as furious egos
@@reymenders5437 because the final installments of both franchises will be released in 2023 and 2024

Having to wait more than a year for this is the real Mission Impossible
There's nothing like the Mission: Impossible theme. Always makes you excited.
The piece of music is, and will always be, a masterpiece

Never saw MI 2?
@@StriderZessei John Woo's big failure. It's pure irony that the best action director of them all made the worst M:I movie.
@@StriderZessei What was wrong with MI 2? I loved it.
@@StriderZessei I loved it too man
Lol
Even after seeing the movie, I keep coming back to this first trailer! Can’t wait to Part 2 and see what other crazy action sequences are in it! Tom Cruise is awesome!

GOD'S STANDARD FOR HEAVEN IS PERFECTION AND ONLY JESUS (THE SON OF GOD/GOD IN THE FLESH) LIVED THAT PERFECT LIFE! HE LAID DOWN HIS LIFE & TOOK THE WRATH OF THE FATHER ON THE CROSS FOR YOUR SINS! GOD IS JUST SO HE MUST PUNISH SIN & HE IS HOLY SO NO SIN CAN ENTER HIS KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. Wait, did they just say Part 1? This is gonna be epic!
when trailer 2 shows up, you have seen the whole movie...
They filmed MI:7 and 8 back to back. A bit like the final Harry Potter film/s. Part 2 comes out in June 2024, I hope he's still alive for it

yes brother we are just going to die for part 2 when its come in 2024.

I see Tom running on Cruise Control @ 1:32...
And I'm happy!
My fav trailer for any of the Mission Impossible movies. Really sets the tone for the movie- which for me was either my favourite or the second favourite. Roll on part two!!
Say whatever you want about Tom Cruise but his dedication to his acting effort is insanely good that nobody could reach his level. The fact that he sacrificed himself to do these dangerous stunts without dying for the sake of out entertainment is an achievement already for him
Amen. Who's says you can use visual effects 100% when you can go all the way to extreme?
People are just hating on him because
HE IS THE BIGGEST MOVIE STAR OF ALL TIME ✌️
He is the best. While not MY favorite, he is indeed the best. #2023 is gonna be amazing for film.
@Adwig25 W And Elizabeth Moss, these wackos giving us the pedigree actors, I'm so torn lol
@Adwig25 W for having different beliefs to you?
Man this guy never makes it boring and monotonous, even after 7 parts it's fresh lively and where there is Tom cruise there next level action. 💯🙌
All Time Blockbuster 🔥🔥🔥
Tom Cruise has got some balls on him to do some of the Stunts he does in these movies. Can't wait to watch this film on the big screen
Me too bruh
This is one of the best franchises ever in terms of story, action, stunts. Everything is always top notch and it makes it an absolute joy to watch everytime. Cannot wait to see what crazy shit Tom Cruise does this time
