100% have watched or listened to every single episode. Found you guys about 50 eps in and after listening to that episode went back and have been listening or watching or both ever since. You partly got me on board because I am an Olympus shooter.

I think I came across you guys at about episode 40, and I've even gone back to the beginning, in the hope I may understand what planet you're on. While I may never get an answer to that, I can't muss the show now, just love it!
BTY Brendan, a few days up in the high country with CB will have shown you some amazing sights. Hope you have fallen in love with the place.

I mentioned on the other great listening podcast as you guys know that I run some youth photography over here in W.A. I had a youth work background so it's kinda handy. Not saying you can't do it if you don't have a youth work background but I do groups and I went to my local youth centre and asked them if they wanted to run Photography as an arts program and it was fantastic and I'm just about to start the second one in a few weeks time. I got the Community to donate some decently operating working cameras and the method we use is really just getting them into Photography and then slowly teaching them piece by piece. Many of these kids have anxiety and depression so it's fantastic just to get them out and about doing stuff I'll send some images that I've taken with them on your Facebook messenger. The young people get a lot out of it

Started watching a year ago and have since watched every episode, some several times. The only show I watch on TH-cam.

“Because I can crop heavily” is literally the worst argument someone could make for full frame over a crop sensor. They’re literally saying “full frame is better than crop because I can negate the extra surface area and make it exactly the same as a crop sensor camera”.
I use manual mode because my EOS R puts too much weight in the centre of the frame, and tends to blow highlights way too easily. With all the dials and generally shooting wildlife at the largest aperture, it’s a choice between using a dial for exposure compensation or using a dial to adjust the shutter speed or iso if the light changes. Same number of permutations, same amount of thinking, fewer blown highlights.

I have watched every episode, and a few rewatched. I do look forward to your shows, and came across Cam at Cradle Lodge a couple of years ago when my husband and I were on our annual trip to Tassie.

Listened to many episodes on a road trip last year and have since watched and/or listened to every episode. If I am in the car I go onto TH-cam later to check out the images. Love your chats and rants 😂

I have heard every episode on podcast whether driving, mowing, chainsawing wood or weeding the garden. When time permits I sit back and look at TH-cam as well (about 15% of episodes).

I've watched every episode on the day it has been released from the very first one (yeah I don't have a life lol) even when I'm away - so I have a myth buster question for you, do you turn image stabilisation off or on when on a tripod?? I never turn it off and don't see a problem but some ppl think you should

Loved this show. A great look at some of the marketing BS in photography...
I've listened to every show and even bought you a slab of beer although you called me Kelly when you gave me a shout-out 😂

Hi Gents, 👍😊 I would like my name added to the looooong list of subscribers who have see/listened too, every episode. I found the podcast on TH-cam at Episode 6 (can't remember how), and then went back through the previous five. I have never been just a "listener", always a "watcher" and generally on a Friday night, or if for some reason not near the tv, first opportunity I get after that. 😂 Thank you for the great content! 👍😊

Yes, I have watched all episodes - first watched one about episode 20.Caught up on the back catalogue soon afterwards. Looking forward to attending BFOP for the first time - watched 2 years of the on-line version. Problem with BFOP 2024 will be choosing just a sessions to attend - so many choices.

1st camera course i did (a lifetime ago) said Manual is definitely not necessarily better... or actually more went/explained - the best way to learn the capability, and parameters of your camera... is to actually start with Auto. Look at the files properties, look at what worked - and THEN use the different settings to see if you can then customise or make it more pleasing for your own eyes.
On Pro lens... the one learning from a year(ish) of OM systems, is that the PRO versions tend to have better IS capability - or at least have in camera and lens IS that work together (not sure if I am saying this the correct way). You touched on this, which was important to do. in OM land the 14-150 is a perfectly find 'all rounder' :)
Andy C (and yep - watched all eps)

I don't believe one system of camera is better than another. I have about four different cameras. Everything from a 1 inch sensor right up to a medium format and I love shooting all of them just because I have a medium format camera doesn't mean I don't shoot my other cameras it's a tool and if you know how to use it you'll be fine. There are somewhat advantages in certain situations with more light going onto a sensor. That's just physics we know that but that's only in five or 10% of situations. I am a fan of stabilisation because if you're shooting seascapes and you want to get down to half a second you don't always need to tripod and I think you can even sometimes just leave the tripod at home so I do think stabilisation is definitely a game changer if used right! 70%. I agree on manual mode!!
