Route 1:
Take train from Interlaken OST to Lauterbrunnen, then second train from Lauterbrunnen to Klein Scheidegg , & then third and last train from Kleine Scheidegg to Jungfraujoch.
Total travel time: 2hr 6 mins
Route 2:
Take train from Interlaken ost to Grindelwald Terminal, from there you have to take cable car EigerExpress to Eigerglacier, then switch to train to Jungfraujoch.
Total travel time: 1 hour and 36 minutes
Route 3:
Take train from Interlaken ost to Grindelwald, from there you have to take another train to klein scheidegg, Then third and last train from Klein Scheidegg to Jungfraujoch.
Total travel time: 2 hour and 6 minutes

I'm holding STP pass, I take the train from interlaken ost to wengen station is under cover from my STP card right, then need to buy ticket kleine scheidegg to top of Euro and return from jungfraujoch by eiger express to grindelwald how much the ticket? Is included top of Euro ticket, ice place, chocolate?

In kleine scheidegg station can I get out from the station look around then catch back jungfrau train to top of the euro?
Hi, I really loved your videos and it really helped me a lot to plan my trip. I am travelling to Switzerland this April and planning to visit Jungfraujoch through Grindelwald.
First taking the gondola from Grindelwald terminal to Eiger station and then from Eiger station to Jungfraujoch. I have a few questions.
I am travelling with swiss travel pass, the gondola from the Grindelwald terminal to the Eiger station will be included in the swiss travel pass?
Can we buy tickets for Jungfraujoch at the Grindelwald station or Grindelwald terminal or Eiger station or do we need to buy the tickets online?
The tickets for Jungfraujoch what will they include?
Hello, you can get tickets from grindelwald terminal, On counter you can directly mention that you need ticket for Jungfraujoch and have stp, so you will get 25% discount on your ticket..

Amazing and helpful video. I am going on summer (july). Do you think are necessary special shoes and clothing? I see you with normal shoes and jacket is it fine? since it is summer hard to carry winter clothes. thank you!
The jacket that I am wearing is a ski jacket (water proof, wind proof, snow proof), and shoes are normal one's but are water resistant . In peak summer if it is a nice sunny day then definitely normal jacket & any water proof shoes are sufficient. During our trip in later half weather went really bad (started to rain) they closed the open area & at that time temp dropped to -2 celsius .

Both places are equally amazing .. Weather on top can vary drastically.. The day we visited Jungfraujoch weather was not so good..and so all activities were closed.. We could spend little time in snow.. And the day when we visited titlis weather was very pleasing and clear.. Could enjoy all the activities.. So i enjoyed more on Titlis i would say, you can check our that video as well.. I would suggest to check weather in the morning before planning to visit any of these mountains

Hi. Your videos are very informative. We are planning to visit Switzerland on July 7th. Can you please tell me where to stay in Interlaken with family (husband and 2 children) as the hotels are very expensive there.
And when we will return from top of Europe by 2nd route from where we will buy 5he cable car ticket (we are planning to buy Swiss travel pass)?
while going itself you can purchase the return ticket as well from any station (Interlaken/Lauterbrunnen etc) , just mention the route to the sales person that you are planning to take while returning. & for Interlaken apartment if you want the boking link of the apartment where we stayed, then message me on Insta.

Thanks for this video. Can you please tell me how did you go via route 1 and came back via route 2 as on the Jungfrau website while booking the tickets if i select lauterbrunnen it tells the same return path and if i select grindlewald it shows cable car + route 2 only.

We purchased the tickets from lauterbrunnen train station and explained them the route we wanna take both ways. Also mentioned them that we hold stp.
You can buy tickets from interlaken or grindelwald station as well..
Hey Hi , I am in travelling in May , since I have my stay reserved at grindelwald …I would like to visit jungfrau from grindelwald terminal and return via the 1st route to lauterbrunnen ,, So I could spend some time in lauterbrunnen and get back to the hotel by night …is it possible to get the tickets in grindelwald
Yes, you can..just mention routes clearly to the sales person at ticket counter .. They should provide you the tickets..thanks
We plan to take Route 3 and return by Route 1
Since we have a STP, we need paid tickets from Grindelwald Terminal, right?
Also on return, we need paid tickets from Jungfraujoch to Lauterbrunnen, from Lauterbrunnen to Interlakken is covered by STP, right?
In the Jungfraujoch we are seeing ticket bookings with same return route option only, no customization. any suggestions or pointers?
You need to pay for tickets from Grindelwald (Not Grindelwald Terminal) to Jungfraujoch and Jungfraujoch to Wengen, STP covers the rest of the Travel.
You can purchase tickets from the Grindelwald or Interlaken Ost train station after checking if weather is good or not .

Hi,
In the ticket office, we explained that we want to go Jungfraujoch via wengen and come down to Grindelwald using Eigerexpress.
Sales person gave us the tickets accordingly.
@@TravelwithTitans thanks for a very quick reply. one last question, so its ok to purchase ticket there and half-fare card or swiss travel card will be honored right?
It's recommended to purchase ticket on the day you want to visit, because weather may not be good and you dont want to spend huge money to see just clouds.
And Yes, you will get 50% discount with half fare card for all of the route,
and 25% with STP for Wengen - Jungfraujoch - Grindelwald section.
Don't forget to mention the passes you are holding while purchasing the tickets.

Go to the ticket counter and explain the route and they will give correct tickets
Suppose we purchase return ticket from lotubrunen than can we return back from grindlebald
No, you cannot return via Grindelwald if you purchase return tickets from Lauterbrunen.
Instead purchase two one way Tickets.
One for Lauterbrunen to Jungfraujoch, second for Jungfraujoch to Grindelwald

can we skip Jungfraujoch and cover another mountain like Rigi, Pilatus apart from Titlis?
We spent only 2-3 hrs. because weather was not good and open areas/activities were closed after some time. SO Always check the weather before travelling.. Fyi- Jungfraujoch and titlis has some what similar experience, so you can choose any one of them.. Rigi and pilatus has different exp and can't be compared with Jungfraujoch
