Tried these in store and they felt great, been looking to pick them up as a second rotation shoe for daily runs. This may have swayed me, great review Chris. 👍
I had a bad experience with the V12's , for some weird reason it kind of force me to pronate... a bit like the endorphin speeds. Ha 5 runs on it about 45k, went back to shop we tried to run on the belt with a camera and bingo, it was twisting like hell. I guess it works for some but not to others... nice review, thanks !
@@Alexander-dr4mw careful, by trying to run on these shoes I got lots of pain on the inner knees. Actually I had to stop running for a week at the end. It was a bad experience, all very strange because on my case I done lots of miles on Rebel V2, More V3 and RC Elite V2 … all these should not be used by people that suffer from overprotection. But the Speed 1 and 2 and the 1080 V12 did it for me.
Got mine today. Not tts. I went down half a size. Fits a bit tight but normal size definitely to big. I have wide feet and it fits OK. Somthing between normal and EE. So tts are basically a bit long and a bit wide.
A good pair seeing it’s my first new balance shoe rotation. It’s soft but not too much like adidas boost. It’s like a well cushioned bed that u get decent sleep and refresh and not too overbearing as u get too comfy and want to sleep longer. If u get my drift😅😂 Outsole solid and don’t have those grooves that like to pick up small stone chips from the road
Just picked up my pair in the same colour. The Nike Invincible 2 was tempting but thought about the durability. Can't wait to get the 1080 out for my next run!
Durability? My Invincible is holding up much better than my 1080 v10. The NB outsole is not durable at all. Both are nice in different ways. Hope you enjoy yours too.
@@ob1447 I have to admit that I wear the 1080 more than the Invincible, and probably more than all other shoes now as I think about it. It's interesting because I don't think that the 1080 is the best shoe, but it's so so easy to pick them up and go.

A bit too soft to me but it’s still fun. I like the feeling from rebel v2 more but it’s a bit unstable. If there’s a blend of 2 that would be perfect.
I’ve had previous 1080’s & have looked at these as a long run option. This version intrigues me.

Interesting. I also preferred how the 1080 felt on foot, but the Invincible was impressive... It was close!

I really like the 1080 V11 but the More V3 is too mushy and almost feels like I’m running in sand. I’ll pass on the V12. Thanks for sharing!

I don't think that you can compare them with the Invincible. 1080V12 much more of a running shoe than the Invincible which is just bouncy..
