It has a bit of the Animals to it. But when the guitar started playing at the beginning it sounded like a Del Shannon song. It's a cross between Del Shannon & the Animals. At times one can tell who the musical influencers were. But it's a great song totally 60's indeed !!!

Once again, Sid Prosen, who brought Simon and Garfunkel to popularity under the pseudonyms Tom and Jerry in 1956-57 with "Hey, Schoolgirl" and was bitter when they decided to find other musical horizons, decided to try it again with The Odds and Ends group after a failed attempt 6 years earlier with another Tom and Jerry duo, unrelated to the original.
Prosen licensed the Tom & Jerry masters to many different budget labels during the height of Simon and Garfunkel's popularity. His hard work and effort finally paid off!
