Recording Post Fader M32r DAW Ableton

Hey Jeff, That deffinatly fixed ch-16 on my Midas M32 on the DI out w Fade and EQ inline to my DAW. Cant get any thing beyond 1-16 as there is no further out OUT of EXPANSION CARD OUT 17-32. Ive unassigned the channels 1-32 from the subgroup faders/mutes which removes the Channel 1-6 Faders from that Subgroup DCA control but still no DI OUT 17-#@ routing selection. Any thoughts. I do live sound and the setup I have is xlnt, but in my studio I need more than 1-16 DO with Fader, EQ, Comp processing. Do you have a solution, or is this a Midas tech support question since the Midas M43 manual is pretty much useless. (Midas M32with Mac Digital Performer) all channels on the Mac see DI In from the Midas but ch 17-32 no DI with Post Fader/ EQ/Comp routing. Thank you kindly Michael

Sorry I’m not around my M32R but I’ll try explaining. If you’re not using a P16 you can use the P16 soft outputs to your DAW. Assign the 16 input channels on your mixer you want going to the P16. You can tap them anywhere like you did before post fader and post EQ. Then assign your card inputs 17-32 to the P16. Here’s a link to another video I found

when i do this with all 16 channels i lose my main outs, is there a way to make is post eq with still being able to use outs 7 and 8 as main outs?

I have an M32 and I can’t seem to figure out how to simply plug an I phone in for play back. All other uses for the board have been easy . Thanks

You can use an adaptor from your charge port on the iphone to a 1/8" female, then use a stereo 1/8" to RCA cable and plug into the aux inputs on the mixer. Assign 2 of your channels inputs to the aux inputs with the RCA connections.

Hi Jeff with M32R Live. out of the box it records directly to the DAW. Can I Change to Post Fader? the reason I would like to record the Preamp, EQ, and Compressor to the DAW

Go to 1:00 in the video where it is explained. After using analog mixers most of my life the signal flow is a bit confusing on digital mixers. I'm using the newer software on the M32R so doing this will look a little bit different with older software.
